We checked into the sunset villa for a 5 night stay and from the get go it was a terrible experience. The property was sub 4 star at best in terms of quality. The Villa itself was in poor shape. The doors rattled/ squeezed every time you opened or closed them. The wardrobes were dusty and unkept. The bathroom was a total disaster with daily flooding resulting in a health and safety hazard. Our private pool was not temperature controlled resulting in us having to call maintenance staff daily twice a day. The air conditioning controls were bad quality. You had to go right up to the air conditioner with the remote to amend the settings. Additionally, it was either too hot or too cold as the auto setting was malfunctioning. The quality of the food was average which was surprising given the brand is a 5 star. The buggies were old and uncomfortable to sit on. The only positive were the staff members who tried their best to pacify us given how unpleasant and low quality the property and facilities were. It was one of the MOST disappointing stays we have ever experienced and would certainly not recommend vacationing here. PS- good luck trying to get in touch with anyone from management as I have called multiple times asking for an email address for Anantara headquarters i.e. Minor Hotel group to which the call gets transferred and subsequently the line gets dropped. Highly unprofessional.

Great Experience they give me an upgraded villa with a pool and very nice view. The island is private in the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Aziz he went with me and my family to show us around the island.

Amazing hotel, service and staff. We had an amazing family getaway on this incredible island, where everything was beautiful. There are so many activities to do, from pools and beach, to water sports, to cocktail making, to kids specific activities, and much more. The food is also great at all venues on the Island. Most importantly, the staff was amazing, kind, professional, and always with a smile on their faces. They helped us plan many surprises for the family, were very attentive, catered to our every need, and made the stay unforgettable. Special thank you to the manager Mr. Amir, who helped coordinate this from the start and ensure to make this experience special in every way. Thank you! Will definitely be coming back !!

Almost hard to review as it feels like a secret you dont want to share. However, amazing place. From you dock the the island, the luxury calm feeling begins. Great food, great drinks at pool bar and great pool. Feels like a bit of Thailand without travelling for soo many hours. Both great for a few days with kids and adults alone.

And of course- all the birds and greens made my mood up! Highly recommended! Super option not only for romantic gateway, but also for family vacation and birthday parties 🥳
