I had an amazing 2-night staycation, and everything about the experience was truly wonderful. The place was beautiful, calm, relaxing, and incredibly peaceful exactly what we were looking for. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by Siva and a lovely lady from Myanmar (I’m sorry I forgot her name). William from the Front Office was exceptional he provided very detailed information and made sure we had everything we needed. During our stay, Ahmed (Hamada) took great care of us; he was very sweet and always ensured everything was smooth and that we were happy. We also received excellent service from Redwan IVD. Umami from Housekeeping was very attentive, checking in from time to time to see if we needed anything. Breakfast service was fantastic, thanks to Qamar, and the food was absolutely amazing. We had lunch and dinner at Halios Restaurant, where we were warmly greeted and served by Din, Zean, and Lukman. They were all incredibly kind and attentive. The food was delicious, and we especially loved the Nasi Goreng. We also enjoyed an island tour with JD, our buggy driver, who showed us around and explained everything in detail such a great experience. Overall, everything was amazing. The staff were very professional, polite, friendly, and caring. Truly a memorable staycation, and I would highly recommend this place.

We had an incredibly wonderful time at the Anantara World Islands Hotel. We are very grateful to Willyam for his hospitality! For the second year in a row, he has made our vacation better with his sincere and warm attitude towards guests, which leaves no one indifferent. He is a true professional in his field. Thanks also to Kareem for addressing any issues that arose. A big thank you to the Helios restaurant and Qamar for the delicious dishes and attentive service. Special thanks to Nina, Ashan, Puja, Hein, Pilu, Pathan, Sandhye, Rukman, Dean, Samad, Lukman, Ratna, Zin and Diva. All the staff at these restaurants are very caring. I apologize if I missed anyone; every representative from the Qamar and Helios restaurants deserves gratitude for their work and attitude towards guests. Thank you very much to the cleaning staff for the clean rooms and beautiful decorations! Dhanal, Ajay, and Jashim stood out to us the most, but I’m sure the rest of the team does an excellent job as well. Thank you to everyone working at the port. They are very kind and helpful staff. We recently escaped for a couple of days at Anatara World Islands. Not far from the city, (12 minutes by boat) but you get the feeling you are on holiday far from home. As we stepped our foot on the island, we received a welcome drink followed by live music. The service is quick and very friendly. Suresh and William made the most to ensure our comfort on the island, thank you guys so much. The island is not a big one, someone can walk around it in 20 minutes, even though there are buggies to take you anywhere. As long as you are there you can enjoy the beach, the swimming pool, a Greek restaurant that keeps the tradition alive with a cinema on top of it. There is a padel court if you feel like having a match. There is a huge garden where they grow spices and vegetables which they use in their cooking. Accommodation is outstanding, to the point that I cannot thing of any changes to make it better. Finally, food is a reason to forget your diet and spoil yourself. Overall, a place I totally recommend without second thoughts. I look forward to going back soon.

Boat check-in was seamless with valet parking, and we headed to the island just after 10am to celebrate my birthday. From the very beginning, all staff were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The boat trip to the island jetty was quick and smooth, where I was met by a warm greeting party and escorted to the pool area by Mark Rebello, who looked after me throughout the day. He regularly checked in to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, which made the birthday experience feel extra special. Mark and Abhishek kindly offered a buggy tour around the island, which was a lovely touch. During the tour, I saw ducks, gazelles, exotic birds, and peacocks 🦚, all set against the stunning Dubai city skyline. The three-course meal at Qumar was outstanding — wow! The menu had so much choice that I couldn’t decide, so I extended my stay until 8pm to enjoy both lunch and dinner. Dean took excellent care of me at the restaurant. I started with crispy cheese with walnuts and honey, followed by lemon sole. The chef did an amazing job — everything was light, crispy, refreshing, and full of flavour. A big thank you as well to Abhishek, Su, Salim, Ali, and Zainab for their support throughout the day. Everyone was extremely friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Their positive attitude truly stood out. The weather can be quite fresh at this time of year, so it’s worth wrapping up if you’re out of the sun, although there are some lovely sun-trap areas around the island. Overall, it was a fantastic way to celebrate my birthday. Island life just 10 minutes from the city — absolutely loved it and highly recommended!

A Perfect Family Day! We spent a wonderful day at Anantara and absolutely loved the ambiance—it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We especially enjoyed riding around the island in the buggy with Mr. Ali, who was exceptionally friendly and wonderful with the children. Feeding the macaws, spotting wildlife, and enjoying a delicious meal made the experience even more special. The kids had a fantastic time at the kids’ club as well. We would highly recommend this place and would love to return again.
