Anantara World Islands Dubai Resort

A Resort that made us feel like visiting it again and again. Hello everyone, we had the pleasure of staying at Anantara World Islands Resort Dubai recently. We were welcomed by the hotel staff at the welcome Desk at the port, who efficiently coordinated with us to reach the port and safely took us to the resort Island via boat and thereafter miss Monica took care of us till the end of the trip. It is absolutely fun staying in this resort. On one side an atmosphere of beach and a private island and on the other side at just a stone’s throw away you have a completely developed city. We absolutely enjoyed staying in this property with our two year old kid. The rooms are good with different categories, good insulation, powerful AC and direct access to the beach and having a private pool to the villa at which we stayed gave us a wonderful feel with the sunset and a flock of birds flying around over the sea and peacocks visiting our villa and Roaming around the resort. I would absolutely recommend staying in this resort as they have numerous amenities and lot sea sport activities and equipments. They also have an indoor sports activity centre, kids play area and large pathways to walk around the resort. The food is absolutely good. You have a choice of Mediterranean, Indian & Continental options to choose from. The options may be limited but there is something for everyone for sure. The staff was extremely accommodating at breakfast where they would keep everything available even when it was past the closing time. The chocolate cake and vanilla cake is an absolute must have which we devoured on multiple occasions via room service during our stay. The service was excellent with special mention to Ms Monica and team. The beach was well maintained with many lifeguards on duty at a safe distance and the sand was being raked every now and then. However I feel there are a few downsides that you might face while travelling to the city and to the island on scheduled basis with the boat coming in every two hours or you can rent a private boat to travel to and fro from the island. The staff is extremely helpful in communicating the boat schedule and keeps messaging and reminding us every 30mins,20mins,10mins and 5 mins before the boat departure to make sure we don’t miss the boat. However due to weather conditions you may face delays in accessing the island or the city due to rough seas. The hotel plays a crucial role in informing us prior in planning our transport. My true opinion is that these kind of hurdles are common in any island resort that we visit, but on the good side this resort is just 10 minutes away from the city via boat where you can enjoy the resort island as well as take a quick city tour or a desert Safari. Where else can you have the best of both worlds. My suggestion to everyone would be to ditch Maldives and plan your trip to the Dubai world Islands, where you have a better feel than the Maldives.

I had really bad experience from the beginning, we arrived @12:30 and we stayed until 1 waiting for nothing. A guy called Ahmad in the welcoming reception wasn’t clear enough, after 1PM we noticed that we need to do check in before riding the boat! When we reached the hotel reception we waited until 3 waiting for the room to be ready!! When we have booked the boat timing they told us the room will be ready when we will reach @1 but unfortunately until 3 we didn’t received our villa yet When we complained they told us (Roshan) is the manager but we noticed that he’s not the manager and they lied to us Very bad service!!!

It was a lovely stay at Anantara resort Best vacation ever So relaxing, peaceful and cozy place , nice and friendly stuff I like there is a charged person responsible for our villa , anything we need or want we can contact her directly with a fast response The villa was so clean and nice, ours was with a bedroom and privacy pool , they come and clean whenever we request There are two restaurants, Qamar which is an Arabic and Indian restaurant, it has a nice sea view and we had our breakfast there daily The other one is Helios restaurant which I like more, very tasty with fresh ingredients I loved the swimming pool very much!! It felt you swimming endlessly with the ocean 🌊

We checked into the sunset villa for a 5 night stay and from the get go it was a terrible experience. The property was sub 4 star at best in terms of quality. The Villa itself was in poor shape. The doors rattled/ squeezed every time you opened or closed them. The wardrobes were dusty and unkept. The bathroom was a total disaster with daily flooding resulting in a health and safety hazard. Our private pool was not temperature controlled resulting in us having to call maintenance staff daily twice a day. The air conditioning controls were bad quality. You had to go right up to the air conditioner with the remote to amend the settings. Additionally, it was either too hot or too cold as the auto setting was malfunctioning. The quality of the food was average which was surprising given the brand is a 5 star. The buggies were old and uncomfortable to sit on. The only positive were the staff members who tried their best to pacify us given how unpleasant and low quality the property and facilities were. It was one of the MOST disappointing stays we have ever experienced and would certainly not recommend vacationing here. PS- good luck trying to get in touch with anyone from management as I have called multiple times asking for an email address for Anantara headquarters i.e. Minor Hotel group to which the call gets transferred and subsequently the line gets dropped. Highly unprofessional.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the world island at Anantara Hotel, and I must say it was one of the most memorable vacations I’ve ever had. From the pristine sea to the stunning pool and exceptional hospitality, every moment was perfect. The sea was absolutely breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters and perfect waves for a peaceful day by the shore. The pool area was equally amazing – clean, spacious, and with a stunning view of Dubai landscape. A huge shoutout to Zainab, who went above and beyond to make my birthday special. Her attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding, and she truly made the occasion unforgettable. The restaurant manager, Grace, ensured I had an incredible dining experience. She was attentive and made sure I enjoyed every meal with her warmth and hospitality. I felt truly looked after! Our waiter, Aman provided exceptional service with a smile. His professionalism and kindness made each meal even more enjoyable. Not to be forgotten is Samad who ensured we had everything we needed by the pool. His service was prompt and friendly, making our poolside experience even more relaxing and enjoyable.
