The rooms were spacious, extraordinary view and clean. Nothing less than what you expect from this hotel
The outstanding factor was the service I received after I left my items in my room. The security supervisors Larry and Tim were amazingly responsive and helpful to make sure that my items were shipped to an address so that I could retrieve them. This service made me certain to stay in this hotel next time I am in NYC!

Don’t stay here. While the location is great, the rooms are extremely outdated and honestly pretty gross. AC won’t go below 73 even though it’s set at 68, carpets are disgusting and stained. Only one elevator is working and I waited 27 minutes to go downstairs today!! Beware - stay somewhere else!

This hotel is a good stay for downtown Manhattan with an extremely optimal location. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice, though antiquated. The TV's seem to barely work and have very few channels carried in ultra-low quality. The bed spreads also are a bit strange with smaller than average beds and most notably, a lack of room refrigerator. Despite this, the hotel was otherwise standard with a slew of standard conference room, fitness (though a bit lacking) and restaurant amenities. Probably not my first choice again, but great for the price.

We booked the junior suite for a 3 night stay since it is close to where we work in.
First night we asked for bottled water from housekeeping at 8 pm and they said they will bring some up. By 9:30 pm we kept calling to follow up. No response. We had to go down to the front desk to ask for water and the front desk personnel were just chatting with each other. They said they don’t pick up the phone because of labor laws. That doesn’t make sense to put a button on the phone to call the front desk then?
Second night, came back at 9pm after work. The room was not serviced. We left at 8 am for work and there were no door signs you put out to indicate you want the room serviced. Since they don’t pick up the phone why bother calling to service the room right?
Paid 160 a night which is a bargain for a suite but this is beyond disgusting - room duvet is too thin, toilets are from two decades ago, and service is non existent.
Was planning on staying here 3 nights a week for the rest of the year for work but that possibility is gone. Better to stay at Sonder (3-4 star) where they are upfront about not servicing rooms but have much better service.

Two stars overall only because of the location. Our room was a corner room with a great view of the WTC & the Occulus.
However, just like the poorly scrubbed "Hilton" from the front of the hotel, everything upstairs was mediocre.
We never did get the air conditioning to work, and it was too warm for comfort. We did get the lower window to open, so there was some relief, but not much.
Though we were reserved for 3 people, only one bath cloth was provided. The fridge was gone & cabinet screwed shut. The damaged carpet completed the overall feel of the property.
As long as you are mostly interested in location, this is fine.
