Comfortable room with a king bed in the heart of Manhattan at a great price. They don't have many room amenities, no microwave or coffee pot. They said on the website that a fridge cost extra but could be provided. There is free Wi-Fi. There is a desk. The check in went smoothly. We haven't had to talk to the staff since. She indicated where the elevators were and today, one is them is broken so there is a long line. We were looking around the lobby for a restroom and found another set of elevators that were working and closer to our room. There was work being done right outside the entrance today which meant I had to use one of the revolving doors. I hate these types of doors. Thank goodness a regular door was available when we got back. The parking garage is fairly close, a couple of blocks away. Just remember to get your parking validated at the hotel before you leave. It's not free but you get the hotel rate. It's an easy walk to so many restaurants and bars. There are subway stops nearby. So great location. Overall, the location alone makes this place well worth it.

During our stay in New York, we chose once again to stay at the Park Central Hotel – and that’s no coincidence. Two years ago, we stayed here as well, mainly because of the perfect location close to Central Park and the subway station. Everything is within walking distance, which makes it very convenient. What truly makes this hotel stand out, however, is the hospitality of the staff. Carolyn, who works at the front desk, welcomed us warmly once again. Two years ago, she already helped us greatly with an administrative issue (which was not her fault), and this time she immediately recognized us from back then. Her personal touch and friendly service made us feel right at home. We would also like to mention the lovely lady at the breakfast shop, who greeted us kindly every morning. Everything here is well organized, and the team really makes a difference. Before we even booked our trip back to New York, we already knew one thing for sure: we would stay at the Park Central Hotel again. And that’s largely thanks to Carolyn and the rest of the team. Highly recommended!

Only good part of this hotel is that it is centrally located. Rooms are super small and unhygienic, unclean. Amenities are not there. Carpet has cobwebs, stains and dust of ages. Including the gallery. No restaurant. Bathroom shower was supremely slow and blockage in basin and tub. Overall bathroom had smell of dampness. Will never recommend to stay here with the price they charge.

Wonderful overall experience in the perfect location! When I walked into this bustling hotel in the middle of NYC, I was immediately welcomed by the front desk employee named Carolyn. She was expecting me as my friend had already checked in. I was taken aback by her attentiveness and hospitality. The fact that she knew who I was and gave me her beautiful smile was so unexpected. She got us into our rooms quickly and referred us to the concierge to figure out what show we were going to go to. The concierge recommended an incredible show, and we felt he knew everything. It was fantastic to hear him explain what each show was about! Another thing that stood out was the cleaning staff. They work so hard and maintain such a friendly demeanor, always checking in and saying hello. They exuded such light and energy which goes such a long way even in the smallest interactions. At the end of the trip, we saw Carolyn again and she wanted to know everything we did and if we had a good time. I really want to say thank you to the Park Central Hotel, and especially Carolyn, for a personal experience.

The only great thing about the hotel is its location. But be mindful that it is extremely noisy in the room due to traffic, horns, and sirens. The hotel itself is filthy. The restaurant behind the front dask has stained furniture and floors. I had to ask to change the room because the original room was so stinky and filthy. In the bathroom you can find mold in the sink in the bathtub.
