Great location, vibe and rooms. The service and amount of room issues though is a joke. First off, hope you don’t plan on sleeping in after a late night because at 9am on the dot housekeeping will repeatedly bang on your door and force their way in (day after day), despite your repeated pleads not too. An earlier riser? No matter, hope you don’t need a light to start your day cause the one in the bathroom decides when it works, not you 😅 A bit warm fighting through a NYC summer? Need water or ice? Don’t stress there are water and ice stations on each floor, jokes they don’t work either. But no worries, you probably won’t need water once you get back to your room anyway, because you’ll be dead. Currently joining a few of my floor mates in propping our doors open to get aircon from the halls as while we were out our rooms were all heated to 28 degrees Celsius and won’t cool down. In summary, it’s better than pod… but at what cost? 🥴

I loved my stay at YOTEL Times Square! My room was clean, modern, and had an amazing view. The vibe of the hotel is fun and hip, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. It’s also conveniently located near everything perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable stay in NYC!

6-day stay at this hotel: Comfortable and pleasant hotel — unless you are staying on the 4th floor. If so, I recommend asking for a room change. Very noisy hotel: We stayed on the 4th floor, where the reception, restaurant, and cabaret are also located. Between 6:00 PM and 9:30 PM, we could clearly hear the music and applause from the cabaret. The proximity of the gym also added noise (treadmills running, weights dropping), and the walls are too thin to properly block the sounds. Rooms on higher floors (5th to 27th) would likely be much quieter. Otherwise: The hotel is stylish and pleasant. The rooms are small but cozy, with a slightly "futuristic" design. The hotel is well located, with smooth self-check-in and check-out processes, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice view from our room on the 4th floor. The room was fairly clean (just a few minor marks on the walls).

Location is great. The room was clean. Check in took 25 minutes. There was a long line but all 3 staff were focused on one customer instead of helping 15 people waiting in the line. They don't do a good job of explaining the features of hotel or what benefit is for the resort fee even they charge 49 dollars. I asked and the rep told me the benefit without explaining how I can get the benefit. Housekeeping kept knocking at door at like 9 am when we were still sleeping and a couple times before the checkout time. They need better customer service

This hotel lacks the basic principles of hospitality services. On my first night, checking in around midnight, a man claiming to be a plumber came to fix a water leak in the room below mine. I looked through the peephole and saw no hotel staff accompanying him! I didn't open the door because the approach seemed strange, it was late, and I was asleep. I immediately tried to contact the front desk, but no one answered. The price was good because I booked far in advance, and the location is excellent, but the cleanliness was poor. I will not repeat this experience.
