The first time I stayed here it was amazing! Beds were able to be tilted, the room stayed cool the whole night, there were curtains for privacy…it would have been a 5 star. Fast forward (at least 8 years) this place has fallen apart. YOTEL has not kept up with the cleanliness and coolness of it long ago vibes. The rooms are dirty. The curtains for privacy are gone. The bed doesn’t tilt. The AC would turn off in the middle of the night and day-um it is hot and humid in NYC right now. The people at the bell stand are lazy. The woman at the desk does not speak English clearly enough to understand. I understand now the low prices. I ended up re booking a room before I head to the airport and this bed does tilt but it looks like some mauled it. The shower is growing mold. Everything is just gross. Don’t even let a toe touch the carpet! It’s haunting me even after washing it!

This place is a total win for an NYC stay! You’re a short walk from both Times Square and Hudson Yards, so you’re right in the middle of the action. The neighborhood is packed with great food spots, but honestly, the hotel’s own restaurant — The Green Fig — is amazing, so you might just end up eating in. Check-in feels like something out of the future: sleek tablets that make it quick and easy, plus staff everywhere if you need a hand. My favorite part? The high-tech baggage robot. You literally put your bags in, and it stores them away like some kind of luggage vault — super handy and fun to watch. The hotel was buzzing during our stay, but that’s NYC for you. Even with the crowd, the vibe stayed upbeat and the staff kept everything running smoothly. Between the location, the cool tech, and the friendly atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the city.

The hotel is in a strategic location, just a few steps from Port Authority Bus Terminal and about a 10-minute walk from Times Square, making it ideal for moving around the city. The atmosphere is modern and futuristic, with well-organized spaces and a good value for money, especially considering the central area. Rooms, although compact, are functional and well designed. However, I noticed a couple of things that could improve the overall experience: bathrooms don’t have a toilet brush, and there is no laundry service available. Overall, it remains a recommended choice for those looking for comfort and convenience in Manhattan, with just a few minor improvements needed in terms of services.

I really likes this hotel. It was super convenient to Times Square and all of the touristy stuff we had lined up. The room easily accommodated out family of four, 2 adults and 2 teens. We parked our car in the garage nearby and didn't need it until we left for home 3 days later. Breakfast was very good each day.

Got a cozy little base Queen size room with a nice bathroom and view on the 10th floor after checking in at the self check in area, super convenient. The bed was super comfy, had a towel heater and the automatic ac was pretty cool. The only problem I have is the TV not connecting to my iPhone like it’s 2025 man get some compatible TVs seriously or offer a better smart TV for the price, other than that everything else was cozy and comfortable. side note: the rooms seem to be somewhat soundproof for those wanting extra privacy 😉
