UPDATE: We went down to reception the next day and they called housekeeping to get us a hairdryer. They were quick and it was as if they had hairdryers all along. We bumped into housekeeping on the way back up and grabbed one. However, the staff came up again a few minutes later just to hand us a brand new hairdryer instead. Was polite and attentive.
OLD REVIEW: The view is good however the facilities we had in the room was not good. Apparently, there was no hairdryer in the room (despite being stated as part of the room facilities on their website) and when we requested. It took 1.5hours and multiple calls before the reception found out that the hotel does not provide hairdryers. They were pretty dismissive about the issue, not answering my question directly and only replied with “sorry about that” when I asked “Does that mean that the entire hotel does not have a single hairdryer?” even though they were polite.
In addition, the shower head holder is gone. Shower curtain could be longer to prevent flooding in “dry area” of the bathroom.
Room does not look as new as in the photos. It’s well-used however it is still clean.

Yotel is conveniently located near Times Square. It was easy to check in with friendly staff. The hotel could use a bit of updating and there are no typical amenities, such as a microwave and coffee machine, or a mini fridge in the rooms. The room was very small but the bed was comfortable and adjustable, which was nice. The shower and toilet are in the room and not separated for privacy with a door. Which I didn't mind because it was just me but be aware of that. The towel warmer was inoperable and catching the shower water hot was tricky to time. The outlet at the desk was coming out of the wall and I had a difficult time keeping my laptop charged. The room was clean but was definitely a bit warn out. You could see the hotel was really nice in it's day but is lacking some upkeep. I've seen comments on the fees but I paid for my room in full upfront, so I knew what I was paying for and there were no additional fees. If you are in NY for a business trip or short stay, it suits your needs This would not be ideal for someone on vacation.

Great value for the money. The rooms are small but very clean and modern. We had a small window with an amazing view. Housekeeping cleans thoroughly every day. Great location. The only issue we had was that the bathroom is kind of right in the room with glass doors, so there's no privacy. For 2 out of the 4 days, we barely had hot water. It sounds a bit challenging, but I'm still happy with the hotel choice

A great hotel overall. Very small rooms- don't like how the bathroom is translucent and in your room basically. Shower was steaming hot though, so that's a win. It is New York though, so you shouldn't expect a ton of space coming here. If you're coming alone, itll be perfect. If you're coming as a couple, I think you would be comfortable. Anything else might be uncomfortable. The staff are very helpful and polite and are quick to change your towels and straighten your bed. Wish they had at least 1 community microwave though. I had to eat my takeout cold. The best part is the location. Close walk, train, or bus ride to everywhere!

This hotel is in a great location! The room is nice, has a great view, and was clean. I loved the automated bed that can sit upright like a sofa! The staff are friendly and the check in/out process was seamless. I would stay here again.
