Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Daily housekeeping was great! Not many hotels do this anymore. It was welcoming coming to a clean room and freshly made bed to rest on after a long day. It was my first time staying there and I had an amazing view. The Millennium is now my first choice place to stay when I’m in town for work. Perfect location for many conveniences like dining and shopping. But the best and most important thing to mention is I felt safe!

First, thank you, Bruce, for making this a great stay. Great location. Nice rooms. The beds we got are probably ready for updating. The staff was friendly (even for New Yorkers - haha). It's worth the price as far as the location goes. Would probably choose this brand again.

The pictures are a deceiving- these rooms are old and dated, lots of stains on the floors and couch. Because they haven’t been updated there aren’t places to charge your phone and the outlets in the bathroom didn’t work. Our room had a strange smell when we came in, almost smokey. The doorknob was falling off our bathroom door. No fridge or microwave. No keycard needed to access the hotel elevator which seems like a safety issue.
The price wasn’t cheap and we were charged an extra $100 for early check in. Most hotels charging this price would let you just check in early if they have a room. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but the quality of the room didn’t match the price. We ended up just staying at a friend’s hotel instead and checked out early.
One star given for the convenient location if you’re near WTC and the doorman was kind to help us with our bags.

Location: love the location. Centralized and super convenient for just about anywhere you need to go. There are a few sub stations with easy access.
Rooms: love the view of the room. However, the rooms don’t include a fridge or microwave. It’s $35/day if you request a microwave. They also charge $100 for early check-in.
Service: I requested a new key bc I left my key in the room. They gave me the key and when I got in the room, I left to get ice. I must have picked up the deactivated key so I went down to ask to be let back in.
1. I explained what happened and the attendant basically said there’s nothing they could do. I explained that my ID is in the room and if he happy to show them if someone could let me in. I was begging for a few mins before he called someone who met me up stairs.
2. On the way back to the room, I waited in line. They only had one of the 8 elevators working so the line to get on the elevator filled the lobby.

The rooms were spacious, extraordinary view and clean. Nothing less than what you expect from this hotel
The outstanding factor was the service I received after I left my items in my room. The security supervisors Larry and Tim were amazingly responsive and helpful to make sure that my items were shipped to an address so that I could retrieve them. This service made me certain to stay in this hotel next time I am in NYC!
