We nearly forgot we were in New York, the hotel was well appointed and situated central to our area of function and most of all guest services were so nice and welcoming. Elevators clean and fast, hallways clean and clear, art work eye catching and dust free and our room offered great views of the city. Honestly when we travel to NYC, we don’t expect to be floored or impressed with accommodations but I can say we were. Additionally, staying in the 23rd floor was a good cushion from the street noise. High praise to such a great run and maintained faciility and the talented staff!

Great service and location BUT 1) elevator waiting time was too long, 2) beds had no mattress covers and were run down, not comfortable 3) sofa-bed was extremely uncomfortable 4) bathroom also looked run down, had mold, and the door handle didn't work 5) cables connected to electrical outlets were really loose. Hotel staff was great but the actual facilities need some work.

We spent two non-consecutive nights at the hotel. The rooms are clean, but very old with broken furniture (our table leg was loose) barely useful plug outlet where everything I plugged was falling out and we had to use some cardboard to keep it in place. Definitely the worst sofa bed I've ever had. We could feel all the metal bars and there's a bad curve towards the middle so if you are sleeping two persons on it, you'll definitely end up both glued together fighting your way back up the sides. The reservation was for 4 persons and we had only 2 pillows and 1 blanket. We had to ask twice for more since they forgot about us the first time. In summary, the location is very good, but the rest is ok at best, especially given the high prices.

My stay in New York was made truly memorable thanks to MIMI!
When we had a small issue with our room, she handled it with incredible efficiency and a genuine smile. MIMI was not only extremely helpful but also radiated positivity, making us feel welcomed and cared for⚡️
Her dedication and warm demeanor turned what could have been a setback into a highlight of our trip. If you’re staying at this hotel, you’ll be in great hands with MIMI!

Overall, this is a good, decent, clean, and safe hotel. Which are all pluses. Overall, I’d give it a solid B-.
The staff is excellent and very friendly. Things are very clean. The location is across from the subway. There are lots of restaurants in the area and it’s next door to a Duane Reade drug store-which is great for essentials. The rooms have excellent blackout shades. There is a coffee shop on premises. Our room was a good size, with a nice sofa and desk.
Drawbacks:
The beds are hard-like really hard. Our pillows were fairly flat.
The water pressure is low.
There’s some sort of timer or motion-detector on the AC, so the room was always hot when we came back.
The “cafe” they have for breakfast is really a glorified Starbucks. The breakfast sandwiches are microwaved.
The toilets are low to the ground.
There are awkward areas in the room (the cabinet fridge opens one way and the door for the fridge the opposite).
There’s no true full-length mirror.
The vanity area is small.
The hotel, at some point in the past 2-3 years, looks like it did a halfway renovation.
