I had a wonderful stay at the Chatrium Riverside in Bangkok. We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a beautiful river-view room, which was a pleasant surprise! The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Room service was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was a real highlight, offering a wide range of options. However, due to the large number of convention guests during our visit, we did have to wait in line a few times to get food, which could be a bit frustrating. Despite that, the quality of the food was great, and the overall experience was still positive. The location of the hotel is very convenient. There’s a 7-Eleven nearby, making it easy to grab any essentials, and several restaurants are within walking distance. We also loved the ferry service to Iconsiam shopping mall, which has a fantastic food court with a variety of delicious options. Overall, I would highly recommend Chatrium Riverside for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with great service in Bangkok. Would definitely stay here again!

Positives: friendly staff, a great (huge) room with wonderful river view, and really good boat service to connect with other attractions in Bangkok. Food excellent in the River Barge restaurant and breakfast plentiful and delicious. Points for improvement: the pool was shut during our stay. This is now on their website but wasn’t when we booked (otherwise we’d have booked elsewhere!) and it was disappointing to find this out on check in - it felt misleading. Apparently use of a nearby pool was possible, but after trying to follow the one sign that pointed in the direction and ending up in random corridors , we gave up - would suggest that customers are contacted to tell them facilities aren’t available and better signage put in to direct people to alternate facilities (if they do exist!) We visited Bangkok over the end of Buddhist Lent which meant some things were closed and places didn’t serve alcohol (the hotel did). While we totally get that national festivals are a part of travelling and absolutely respect the rules/restrictions that come with them, some kind of notification from the hotel would have been really useful. Even a simple ‘Dear Guests, please be advised tomorrow is Buddhist Lent so some places may not be open/serve alcohol’ sign would have been invaluable for first time travellers to Thailand. We found the drinks in the hotel very overpriced. 1 large beer was $12 / €10.50 / £9 which felt really expensive for a simple Singha. Disappointing, as the food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. All in all, a good stay but a few things that could be improved to ensure it is truly a 5 star hotel and experience.

We are a family of 3 with 11 year old kid. This is actually our second time in 2 years. Last year when we stayed it was very quality experience and this year no surprise about the quality of the hotel and hotel staff, specially I have to mention Mr Top, the front desk Manager. This is why we choose this sort of excellent service hotels. Although we had a little miscommunications during the check in and we brought this into Mr Top's attention, he was very professional and he really wanted to make sure we have the right exceptional service and stay. Because it was a slow season, he upgraded us to one of the suits on one of the top floors as there was one availability of that room. That really made our holiday smooth and quality. The hotel and staff did their job above and beyond our expectations. I stay in many hotels including Marina Bay Sands Singapore. This suite was absolutely stunning. I would like to thank Mr Tom and his lovely staff. My advice, consider this room when you book with this hotel. What an iconic Bangkok view.!!! Finally quality of an Hotel and stay comes with how the hotel and staff approach their guests with their needs. Thank you everyone. Will see you in future again.

Perfectly positioned to travel by boat and train, on the river front with hotel ferry to central pier and station. All staff, without exception, are gracious, friendly and helpful. Breakfast fare is of a wide range, and is fresh and delicious. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. So welcoming that it is our go-to hotel every time we return to Bangkok.

We had an incredible stay at Chatrium Riverside Hotel, Bangkok, as a family of eight (four adults and four teens). The service was exceptional from start to finish—staff were warm, welcoming, and always greeted us with big smiles. For instance, when I came down with our baggage, two staff members immediately assisted, took the bags, and provided tags without us even asking. Their attentiveness made us feel truly valued. Thanks Benz and your team at concierge. The rooms were spacious and perfect for our group. A special thanks to Meen, who upgraded us to two rooms for the adults and a two rooms for our boys and girls, giving everyone ample space and comfort. The breakfast spread was a highlight, especially for our vegetarian family members. There were plenty of delicious options like rice, paneer, aloo, chana curries, and sambhar. While the breakfast manager seemed a bit stern on the first day, checking on our group’s whereabouts, the team made up for it on the following days by proactively securing a larger table for us, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel’s riverside location is not only beautiful but also incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore Bangkok. Overall, the combination of outstanding service, spacious accommodations, and a great breakfast made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend Chatrium Riverside and would give it a well-deserved five stars!
