Third time staying here! Highlight was the excellent service from all the staff at L1 concierge and L9 reception & cafe. Friendly, helpful and full of energy. Location is great but slight “complain” we had was the overhead bridge and walking one round when going to Pratunam area - would be nice if there were traffic lights to access the area directly and safely. Room is pretty decent though the hairdryer didn’t work that well. Overall great value and would stay again!

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and it was a truly fantastic experience! The room was clean and comfortable, and every staff member—from the entrance and concierge to the front desk, restaurant, bar, and housekeeping—was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I was especially touched by the warm birthday greeting and the thoughtful card signed by the team members—it really made my day. Although it’s slightly farther from Platinum Mall and Central World compared to where I usually stay, it was still very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return!

The hotel is in a very strategic location—just a 7-minute walk to Platinum Mall—with easy access to nearby attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. Breakfast options were quite varied and overall satisfying; the Thai beef soup, in particular, was excellent. A thoughtful touch in the restaurant is the clear signage indicating which dishes contain pork and which do not—very considerate for guests with dietary restrictions. They also provide a baggage scale in the lobby, which is really convenient for checking if your luggage is overweight before heading to the airport. The view from the room was also a nice bonus.

The visibiy of the hotel is somewhat disconnected between the ground level and the hotel lobby. The hotel lobby is located on the 9th floor. Once you are on the hotel floors, the experience is great. The room is clean and modern. The view is overlooking the city. The breakfast is amazing. It has your traditional western style breakfast, Indian, Chinese and Thai breakfast.

I stayed at Centara Watergate Hotel for 6 days and 5 nights. Overall, their room cleanliness, laundry service, and call service were excellent. Staff were attentive and quick to help whenever issues arose. However, my stay began with an inconvenience — on my first morning, the air conditioner leaked heavily onto my cupboard, soaking my clothes and leaving the floor wet. I had to use towels to stop the water from reaching my bags. The staff immediately arranged dry cleaning and sent maintenance to fix the issue. Unfortunately, the next morning, the leak happened again. To their credit, they upgraded me to a larger and more comfortable room, which I truly appreciated. The main disappointment happened on 15 August. I had a 6:30 pm flight and, at the lobby’s suggestion, booked their airport taxi service for 4:30 pm (500 baht). I was advised this would give me enough time despite traffic. Unfortunately, the driver took a longer route, and combined with heavy traffic, the journey took 2 hours. I arrived at the airport exactly at my flight’s departure time, missing my flight entirely. I had to purchase a new ticket for the 8:10 pm flight at an additional cost of 5,865 baht. The driver appeared inexperienced and did not apologize for the delay. While I was happy with the hotel’s facilities and service in most areas, this airport transfer experience caused significant stress and financial loss. I would advise future guests to consider arranging their own airport transport. Because of this, I am giving 3 stars instead of 5.
