We stayed for 4 nights and had the best time, amazing location, walking distance to trains, bus tops and Terminal 21 ASOK. We received a free room upgrade which made the whole stay even more enjoyable. Very friendly staff, amazing breakfast with a large selection of delicious food. 10/10 would highly recommend, when we come back to Bangkok this is where we’ll be staying!

I wanted to try a new hotel after being a regular visitor to Bangkok, i chose this place as it had very good reviews and those reviews are real, i was checked in by SonT who was very professional and has a good sense of humour, he made me feel veey welcome and organised everything for me. The location is great, walking distance from T21 and surrounding food and bars. The rooms are very and i must say the bed was extremely comfortable. Great selection for breakfast and has a rooftop pool. The staff are very friendly throughout and because of all of the above i have booked a further stay at Samala. Thank you for providing a professional service.

The hotel, aesthetics and location are nice but unfortunately our room was dirty. Upon walking into our room we noticed hair all over the floor which wasn’t ours and even worse hair all over the sheets and blanket. It almost looked like duvet cover hadn’t been washed at all. Was filled with hair, makeup and stains- it completely grossed us out. I had let front desk know and asked if the cleaning staff could clean everything and they assured us that they would. When we got back, the room was serviced but they didn’t clean up any of the hair on the floor or change the sheets. If the actual room was clean and the bed was clean then this would absolutely be a 5 star hotel. The staff were wonderful - especially the front door men!

Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were clean. The King room was relatively small compared to other hotels in the same category. The breakfast selection changed daily. While the food was enjoyable, the overall quality did not quite meet the standard expected of a 4-star hotel. The rooftop pool is beautiful, fewer sun beds as it’s a small space. 10 min walk to Terminal 21 shopping mall, I used their shuttle service too.

I stayed at the Samala Bangkok Hotel with my wife and two kids and had a truly wonderful time. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a better room on our check in—many thanks to Ms. Kai for that. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of storage space. We were even able to store and hide our two large suitcases right at the entrance, which made the room feel even more spacious. Overall, this hotel easily ranks among our top 3 stays in Asia and even Europe. The location is great —very central and just a 10 minute walk from BTS Nana or Sukhumvit MRT, making it extremely convenient with public transportation. The rooftop pool was a real highlight, especially for our two young children, who absolutely loved it after some hours of sightseeing in these hot humid weather in Bangkok. Breakfast was also very good, offering a good mix of Western and Asian options. The staff were hardworking, attentive and handled the busy morning rush very well. They also provided us a baby chair for our 10 month old baby every single day. Even during our very early checkout at 4:30 AM, the hotel thoughtfully provided a breakfast to go, which was a perfect and much appreciated way to end our stay. Again, thanks to Ms Kai for this service. I can definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok. A truly great experience from start to finish. We will comeback one day.
