JC Kevin Sathorn Bangkok Hotel Stayed at JC Kevin Sathorn for a few nights and overall had a mixed experience. The hotel is located slightly away from the main hustle of Bangkok, which is actually nice if you prefer something quieter but still within reach of the city. The reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with good city views — definitely one of the highlights of the property. The pool area is also great, and there’s a massage parlor on-site that offers decent service at fair prices. The big let-down, however, is the food. All of the restaurants inside the hotel need serious improvement. Even the breakfast was disappointing — not freshly cooked and lacking in quality. It really doesn’t match the otherwise high standard of the rooms and facilities. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with good rooms and quiet surroundings, this hotel works well. But I’d recommend eating out; Bangkok has far better dining options just a short ride away.

Lovely hotel, but a little tired in places. Rooms clean and a good size (especially the 2 room suites) location was a little out of the way for us. Pool lovely but chilly and only gets the sun in the morning. Pui at breakfast was amazing - got us a good table every morning, with plenty of space for the family (including 2 babies) and toddler cutlery which encouraged our daughter to eat a good breakfast :)

The majority of the 5 star reviews appear to use very similar language with bizarre made-up user names. FAKE! Maybe this place WAS a 5 Star Hotel in the past but it is FAR from that now. My room and experience for 2 nights was SO BAD that Agoda got the Hotel to refund me one night. The room - 3001 - stinks of mould and mildew. Morning 1 and no hot water, the toilet blocked (not my fault - I know how precious Bangkok plumbing is) and the sink filled to the brim. Engineering turned up pretty quickly. The rain shower head should've been replaced ten years ago. The carpets are filthy. I wore white socks and in a couple of minutes they were BLACK underneath. Beds are lumpy. Air-conditioning compressor is on the dirty, rusty disgusting balcony and is so noisy it rattled the whole room even with the door shut. The whole place is WORN OUT and poorly maintained. I've had better breakfasts at a Hawker street stall. Management do NOT respond to emails AT ALL. No apology. No Duty Manager came to see me. Hopeless. Do not stay here. I will never return. PS - take a look at the LAZY cut and paste replies the Hotel Management makes to guests like me who give a genuine One Star well deserved review. I am sure my review will be treated the same way. They just do not care and have no idea what they are doing.

Pros- Amazing breakfast with loads of options for vegetarians, non vegetarians and even vegans. Very inclusive. Big rooms with amazing views Pool is great. Housekeeping fantastic. Cons- They will not allow you to check in without paying 1000 refundable deposit at checkout TB deposit per night * the number of nights you stay. I booked with Agoda and even though the price for the stay was prepaid, it wasn't mentioned on my booking I was forced to pay to check in. So please be aware. It's refundable but your money gets blocked and it's really not convenient always. The night staff by the reception forces you to book the taxi he recommends so that you can pay 500 TB however if you book through bolt ot grab it's way cheaper. The bathrooms keep leaking and they don't fix it , they tell you they do but it leaks the next day again.

The lobby was grand and impressive, but that’s where the luxury ended. The rooms were outdated and poorly maintained — I encountered cockroaches in the bathroom during my 10-night stay, and cleaning was minimal (only the bedroom and sink). The TV was ancient, and room service was unhelpful despite multiple calls. Dining was another letdown. At the restaurant on the 2nd floor, the waiter got our order wrong repeatedly — incredibly frustrating. Breakfast had variety, but the menu rotated so little that it became repetitive and boring. Facilities like the spa, gym, table tennis, and three restaurants were available, but nothing felt truly 5-star. The only real highlight was the stunning night view. I spent most of my time exploring Bangkok’s malls and temples, which were far more enjoyable. Overall: Not worth the price. Wouldn’t recommend.
