The room was a great value. We did have an insect problem in the first room but we were moved to another room and it wasn’t a problem. The location is great and the food from room service was surprisingly good. I come to this hotel all the time. It is an old dated hotel but it’s still the best value in Sukhumvit. We got a two bedroom two bath apt with a kitchen for a great price that couldn’t be beaten. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the residences, with the hotel being in another building. On the 31st of July, we ate breakfast in our building (which was lovely) and then the breakfast location moved to the hotel (which is in another building). It was unpleasant walking so far through the car park or car driveway to get to the breakfast, only to be in a crowded restaurant and barely being able to even get eggs.
I communicated my unhappiness with the staff, but nothing was done.
The building is old, but comfortable and the shower/bath was good.

The room was fantastic, park view, big and soft bed , the bath room great size with all amenities. The location is great that I can travelling with sky train, subway and airport link. Over the past year, I have stayed in many hotels and airbnbs in Bangkok. This was far and away my favorite accommodation. Very spacious suite and very well equipped. Tons of power outlets, which is rare in Asia. Western style bathroom and shower.
Very nice gym (air conditioned) and pool.
Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Bombay is a Rockstar. Anis and Soon very helpful.
I will try to stay here again in the future, although I think word has gotten out and it stays booked.
Hope & Love
We stayed at this hotel in July 2024. The first rooms we were given were on a lower floor and the carpets in the halls were really stained & disgusting looking. The rooms smelt badly of cannabis. We had two rooms & the air conditioning in one did not work at all (didn't turn on) & had only one bathroom light working, so was very dark. We went to reception & after asking if we had put a card in (we had tried that), they said someone would be up to fix it. After a while we returned to the room to see if they had done anything, as we hadn't heard back from them. They had stuck 2 cards in together- the air conditioning still didn't work. We returned to reception & they changed our rooms- we even got an upgrade for one! We were on a higher floor & the halls were a lot better there (wooden flooring) with no smell. The air conditioning didn't work well in one of the rooms again, but when we told them this was fixed & it was great after that. All the rooms had been pretty clean, some parts had wear & tear, but not too bad. The bathrooms were good & had ok water pressure. The views on the higher floors were amazing! The staff were lovely in the hotel & the breakfast had good range of choice. The swimming pool was lovely- I didn't think it was too small, which has been mentioned in other reviews. The location is really good, being 10-15 minutes walk from Asoke station & Sukhumvit MRT. If you walk through the car park to the left as you go out of the hotel, you can get a free tuk tuk at the Rembrandt hotel to the main road. I probably wouldn't stay here again because of the initial problems with the rooms, but it was cheap & a great location- so that's why it got 3 stars!
