We stayed in a beautifully water villa that was spacious, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and having direct access to the water was an incredible experience. The villa was always perfectly clean, and the attention to detail made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent, with a wide selection of international and local dishes. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially appreciated the all-inclusive option, which allowed me to fully relax and enjoy everything the resort had to offer without any worries. What truly made this experience special for me was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with a smile.     I just returned from a five day stay at Centara Grand Lagoon. We were 3 couples and stayed in overwater villas with sunset view. My husband and I have stayed on many resorts before, from Europe to Mexico and many other places in the Caribbean (Aruba, St, Martin, Jamaica, DR, Mexico et.). Everything at Centara Grand Lagoon was exceptional and I’ll breakdown some of the details that my husband and I enjoyed. 1. Centara has a fully enclosed private boat transfer from Male. Reclining, cooling seats including wifi which felt very safe and stable. Our return when we left resort was at night and just as comfortable. It’s a 45 min boat ride. 2. We were immediately greeted by Hassa, our concierge for the 5 days. He booked everything for us, from meals to sending buggies for pick up to even arranging a special birthday celebration for my husband inclusive of a bottle of bubbly and a cake. Hassa was polite and engaging and our shadow if we had questions. 3. Everyone in the resort, whether it was bartenders, cleaning staff, ground maintenance, waiters, even the manager - everyone was polite and always provided top service with big smiles all day. 4. Rooms are big and clean. We stayed all inclusive. The bar, snacks and coffee in room were restocked every day. Imports liquors and beers, as well as comfortable robes, turn down service, slippers and the view you see on social media, yet better because now you’re in it. 5. The food in the buffet was delicious and changed daily. It was our usually lunch and breakfast stop. Top quality fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and so many delicious dishes to choose from. We also enjoyed the Thai restaurant, and Blue Fin fish restaurant. Exceptional all around. 6. We never had to wait for sun loungers either by the beach or pool any day. The bar was accessible by the beach and pool with wait staff at your service every turn. The quiet adult pool was just that, quiet and without bar service so we stayed at the main large pool. 7. Glitch-free wifi from every part of the resort from in your room, on your pool deck or any restaurant. 8. Clean beaches and calm waterfront. Warm and absolutely breathtaking. If you’re thinking about this resort, you will not be disappointed. DB

    Our stay at Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives was truly exceptional from start to finish. We were welcomed with a luxury boat transfer to the resort, which immediately set the tone for a wonderful experience. At first, the overwater villa we received did not offer enough privacy for us. However, the team handled this perfectly they listened to our concern and quickly fulfilled our request by changing us to another villa with much more privacy, which made a huge difference and showed their professionalism and care. The new overwater villa was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable, and the beach was pristine and relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to fulfill all our requests and made us feel genuinely welcomed at every moment. The restaurants were excellent, with delicious food across the resort especially The Gallery, which was outstanding. On departure, we were once again treated to a luxury boat transfer, and even at the airport they provided us with a guide to assist us, which made everything smooth An unforgettable experience with amazing service, great villas, beautiful beaches, and warm hospitality.     We stayed at Centara Grand Lagoon Maldives for 7 nights and honestly wished we could have stayed forever. This was our third time in the Maldives, and we can confidently say this resort was truly something special. From the moment we arrived, every single member of staff was incredible — so warm, welcoming, and attentive that it’s impossible to name everyone. A huge shout-out to our host, Hassa, who went above and beyond to make our stay so personal and memorable. We also want to thank Shaff, who cleaned our room daily with the biggest smile and surprised us with the most creative and fun towel sculptures. The spa was amazing, the food was outstanding, and breakfast deserves a special mention — the freshly cooked eggs were the best we’ve ever had. Evening drinks at Sunset Social and The Club were definite highlights and the perfect way to end each day. Our room was absolutely stunning, and every detail of the resort was thoughtfully done. Honestly, it’s hard to capture just how incredible this experience was in words. 1000 out of 10 on all fronts. We will definitely be back.
