The Joy Island All-Inclusive concept includes the following:

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner served at the main restaurant,
  • Afternoon tea/coffee with snacks (4.30pm to 6pm)
  • Bottled water and drinks served by the glass, including soft drinks, beer, espresso, sparkling wine, house wine and pouring spirits such as gin, vodka, whiskey, brandy, tequila, rum, arrack and martini (10am to 12 midnight, drinks consumed after 12 midnight will be charged at the normal rate)
  • Selected cocktails and mocktails
  • In-room minibar, including soft drinks and water (refilled once daily)
  • In-room tea/coffee-making facilities
  • Non-motorised water sports

The Joy Island Extreme All-Inclusive concept includes the following:

  • Selection of premium wines from all around the world available in restaurants and bars, including sparkling wine, unlimited cocktails and signature drinks, fresh juices, soft drinks, tea and coffee blends

This was our first time taking a big family vacation of 10 to the Maldives, and since we had 4 kids with us, we wanted a resort where both adults and children could truly enjoy. Joy Island turned out to be the perfect choice. We spent the finest 5 days here, creating memories that we will treasure forever. The family villa with direct access to the pristine white sand beach was ideal for us, giving the kids freedom to play while we relaxed. The food was exceptional, with a different themed buffet each night that kept every meal exciting and delicious. There was never a dull moment—a relaxing pool with the poolside bar for the adults, abundant water activities that kept everyone engaged, and the kids were always entertained and happy. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the heartfelt hospitality of our host, Shahil. His attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel at home from the moment we arrived until the day we left. Joy Island not only lived up to our expectations, it exceeded them. We are so grateful for the wonderful experience and can confidently say this was one of the best family trips we have ever taken. We will definitely plan another trip in the future to Joy Island.

A great value for money with delicious and varied food featuring an Italian touch. Special thanks to Juni, who always greeted us warmly and with a smile—she made the toughest part saying goodbye. The hotel is perfect for a peaceful family vacation. Although the nearby beaches have limited underwater life, there are separate excursions available for those interested in exploring more. The information provided by the island hosts wasn’t always very clear, but with some effort, you can figure out most things on your own. Highly recommended!

The resort is absolutely stunning! We had a girls trip and enjoyed every second! From yoga in the beach in the morning, to evening dancing. Live music and the singer was absolutely magical. Felicia, our host was super nice, kind, and accommodating. She made our stay feel like home. Highly recommend Maldives and Joy island for your next getaway ☀️

We stayed at Joy Island last month and had a wonderful experience. The resort is new, so the facilities and rooms were exceptionally clean and fresh. Initially, one of the housekeeping staff members wasn’t performing at their best, but after a few days, a different team member took over, and the cleanliness improved dramatically — everything was spotless afterward. Our baby had an amazing time at the kids club, enjoying all the activities they had thoughtfully arranged. A very special thanks to Mary, Sandu, and Angel — they were fantastic with our little one and truly made a positive impact on our stay. Mary manages the kids club exceptionally well. We’d also like to recognize Chilli and Jauzee, two other managers who made our stay even more comfortable, along with Wifag, thank you all for your warm hospitality and genuine welcome! The variety of food was good, though we hope to see even more options on our next visit. It's clear that the resort team is growing stronger and more experienced each day. The overall organization and cleanliness of the resort were excellent. My wife and I also tried the spa, which was an unforgettable experience — relaxing while overlooking the beautiful waters. Thank you, Joy Island, for making our stay such a memorable and enjoyable one. We look forward to visiting again!

We stayed at Joy Island, Maldives (December 2024/ January 2025 Christmas and NYE) and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Positive aspects: • The overwater villa was spacious, with turquoise water directly beneath. • The island offers a good amount of privacy, ideal for those looking to slow down and relax. • The main restaurant had a wide variety of dishes for all meals, and the dessert section was particularly enjoyable. • The restaurant staff were consistently friendly and attentive, which made dining a highlight. Points that could be challenging: • The general atmosphere was sometimes affected by other guests. There were many all‑inclusive tourists, and some behaved inconsiderately (cutting in lines, being loud). Of course, this is not the fault of the resort, but it did influence the overall experience for us. In summary, Joy Island offers a beautiful setting, good food and kind staff. While we are glad to have visited, we would personally choose a quieter island in the future.
