The Joy Island All-Inclusive concept includes the following:

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner served at the main restaurant,
  • Afternoon tea/coffee with snacks (4.30pm to 6pm)
  • Bottled water and drinks served by the glass, including soft drinks, beer, espresso, sparkling wine, house wine and pouring spirits such as gin, vodka, whiskey, brandy, tequila, rum, arrack and martini (10am to 12 midnight, drinks consumed after 12 midnight will be charged at the normal rate)

What can I say about this hotel? Just look at the photos and book it, so you can find out how stunning it is. Everything was perfect, from the arrival to the very end of our stay. We have found really good deal on travel website and chose water villa, which was amazing. Service is something else, every person is so professional, very friendly and welcoming at the same time. You can literally feel like a king. Rooms are spotless and mini bar stocked up every day. Delicious, fresh food with a lot of variety, prepared every day. You can use paddle boards and kayaks for 30 min a day, there is also small water park. Really good gym, tennis court and ping pong table. Hotel provides night entertainment like live music, themed parties or movies, accompanied by a really good cocktails. Our host Shify made sure we were taken care of in every aspect and Nihat gave us amazing experience of sharks watching and island hopping. The only negative thing is that excursions and additional activities are really pricey.

Our stay at Joy Island was nothing but exceptional. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team for their professionalism, attentiveness, and kindness that accompanied us throughout our vacation. A special thank-you goes to our manager, Felicia. She helped us with absolutely everything, was always available, and solved any issue quickly and with genuine care. Thanks to her attention, we truly felt like valued guests. I would also like to express heartfelt appreciation to the restaurant team. Dita and Gita are the sweetest girls at the entrance. Every time we came for breakfast or dinner, they greeted us with such sincere smiles and warmth that our mood instantly lifted. Haan became our favorite waiter — very attentive, fast, and always in a great mood. Puja is incredibly kind and responsive; she has such a calm, gentle presence that it’s simply pleasant to be around her. Robin, the pasta chef, is a true magician. His pasta was so delicious that I didn’t even want to try anything else. And he spoke a little Russian, which was such a lovely surprise. Udaya, the master of fruits and poke bowls, deserves a special mention. Everything he prepared was perfect — the freshest fruits, beautiful presentation, and ideal combinations. He always smiled, asked what we liked, and how we were doing. You could feel that he truly puts his heart into his work. Naveen, the restaurant manager, is a real professional — calm, composed, and able to create an atmosphere of comfort. Thanks to him, the restaurant runs smoothly and effortlessly. He always came by to check if we were enjoying everything and whether we needed anything. Ram, the bartender, is the soul of the island’s evening vibe — friendly, attentive, and incredibly talented. His cocktails are a work of art. All these people made our vacation truly special. I wholeheartedly recommend Joy Island to anyone who values not only beautiful surroundings but also genuine human warmth. And to the entire team — thank you for the kindness, care, and unforgettable atmosphere you create.

The food, facilities, and overall service were excellent, but what truly made my stay feel like home was the warm and friendly staff. Everyone was attentive, and I felt genuinely cared for throughout my stay. In particular, Naveen and Dita were incredibly kind and thoughtful, always making sure I had everything I needed during each meal. His/her hospitality really stood out. And our host ,Shifa, was also very attentive and took care of everything with great detail If I return to the Maldives, I would definitely choose this resort again.

Wonderful new resort with amazing staff and perfect atmosphere. We had a fantastic stay at Joy Island Maldives — it’s a beautiful new resort, perfectly maintained and with a truly amazing team that knows exactly what to do and how to make guests feel welcome. Everyone was exceptionally kind, especially towards children, and the Kids Club offered a very nice and varied program, our son loved it! Special thanks to the restaurant team — Dita, Gita and Adnan — for their outstanding service and kindness throughout the week. A big thank you to the chefs at the pasta corner, from our little boy who spent the whole week happily eating their pasta! And also warm thanks to Hilson from Concierge for his professional and friendly assistance. The service level was excellent, and the gastronomy very good for this type of resort. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to offer a bit more Asian cuisine — perhaps a Thai or pan-Asian corner with fresher, lighter flavours beyond the local and Indian curries. We stayed in both the beach villa and water villa — both were great, but for families with small children, we’d especially recommend the beach villa (without pool) on the less windy side of the island. Perfect access to the beach and great value for money. Overall, an absolutely lovely experience — relaxing, warm, and memorable. We’ll be happy to return! 🌴✨
