The Kandima Maldives Dine Around All-Inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Breakfast and lunch at Flavour or Zest restaurants
  • Dinner at Flavour, Zest or a three course dinner at Smoked, Sea Dragon or Azure from the special chef’s menu (booking recommended)
  • Unlimited selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during lunch and dinner and at Breeze Bar (10am to 12am), the Beach Club (10am to 6pm) and Forbidden Bar (7pm to 12am)
  • Complimentary rental of snorkelling equipment, standard kayaks and paddleboards

I stayed at Kandima Maldives recently and honestly, it didn’t meet my expectations. First, we flew in via a domestic flight instead of a seaplane, which was really exhausting. I’m not sure if that was on the hotel’s options or the agency’s, but make sure you confirm the seaplane option when booking — it makes a big difference. The resort facilities are quite basic. I personally wouldn’t rate it as a 5-star resort; more like 4 stars at best. One night they had an outdoor movie at 8:30 PM. We were excited to go, but it turned out to be a kids’ movie — even though there weren’t any kids around. We asked if they could switch it to a regular movie, but they said no, which was disappointing. We also booked a private yacht experience, which was supposed to include snacks and drinks. But the yacht was very simple — no proper setup for food or drinks. The snacks were just five small pieces on one plate, and the drinks were in cans with no cups or ice, we had have to put in the floor,That really didn’t feel like a 5-star experience. Lastly, we once asked for a golf cart from our room because we were wearing heels and walking to the cruise pickup point, which wasn’t very close. They refused. Overall, I think this resort could work for families with kids, but it didn’t suit what I was looking for. I wouldn’t go back, and I wouldn’t consider it a real 5-star resort.

the island itself is very beautiful. The staff are kind, cheerful. But the huge minus is the food, it's disgusting, really. We had all inclusive and the restaurant included in it was terrible. I can't say that in paid restaurants it was better for such a taste it's too expensive. I live in a villa, the room itself is not bad, but I didn't like that they don't put toothbrushes and toothpaste, to get them you have to ask for it, as for me it's strange, also the shampoo here is terrible if you go here, take your own from home.Well, it's logical that the conditioner doesn't moisturize the salts at all

I stayed at this resort with my Boyfriend for 4 nights and it was beautiful. The ambiance was amazing. The restaurants in site were so delicious especially the Italian & Steak restaurant. The day time breakfast / lunch spots were okay but there are other options on site at each pool location. We originally stayed in a sky view room then upgraded to an aqua villa. We did have some issues with the AC but was fixed promptly which we appreciated. I did love that there was no check out time and able to use our all-inclusive package up until we left. The resort is great for families especially anyone with kids as there is a ton of activities for them. The spa was great and banana boating was so much fun. The nightly entertainment was nice as well. Nice & relaxing trip!

This was a bucket list destination, and it didn't disappoint in terms of its beauty and scenery. It was quite the journey to get here, but ultimately worth it. The resort itself is a thing of beauty, just like the pictures. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the rooms at the resort are exactly what you see as advertised. This is a very remote island, so if you're traveling with a picky toddler, make sure you travel with enough of whatever they like. The food, on the other hand, was lacking for my palette. I understand they cater more towards the crowd that visits them more often, but I expected a bit better. Carry a travel size hot sauce bottle with you, IYKYK🙃. But, the gentleman that made the Naan bread (incredible stuff!) at Flavour made our dinners more tolerable. I would say that breakfast was acceptable on most days we were there. Like I said, this is a remote island resort, and it's for total R&R. They offer some water activities, if interested, but most of the time you'll be enjoying your time in the beach or pool. Oh! They also offer a playroom and mini Waterpark-ish for kids which was nice for my toddler. Overall, it's a great place for total relaxation!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Our room was spotless and beautifully tidied every day thanks to Kalu. He clearly enjoyed his work and always took a moment for a friendly chat! The food was wonderfully diverse and delicious every single day. We especially loved dining at Zest restaurant because of its calm atmosphere and the separate kitchen area, which added to the comfort. Chef Anjana was extremely kind and regularly came by to ask how we liked the food and if everything was to our satisfaction. All in all, a fantastic holiday destination with exceptionally kind and welcoming staff!
