The Kandima Maldives Dine Around All-Inclusive programme includes the following:

  • Breakfast and lunch at Flavour or Zest restaurants
  • Dinner at Flavour, Zest or a three course dinner at Smoked, Sea Dragon or Azure from the special chef’s menu (booking recommended)
  • Unlimited selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during lunch and dinner and at Breeze Bar (10am to 12am), the Beach Club (10am to 6pm) and Forbidden Bar (7pm to 12am)
  • Complimentary rental of snorkelling equipment, standard kayaks and paddleboards

I stayed at this resort with my Boyfriend for 4 nights and it was beautiful. The ambiance was amazing. The restaurants in site were so delicious especially the Italian & Steak restaurant. The day time breakfast / lunch spots were okay but there are other options on site at each pool location. We originally stayed in a sky view room then upgraded to an aqua villa. We did have some issues with the AC but was fixed promptly which we appreciated. I did love that there was no check out time and able to use our all-inclusive package up until we left. The resort is great for families especially anyone with kids as there is a ton of activities for them. The spa was great and banana boating was so much fun. The nightly entertainment was nice as well. Nice & relaxing trip!

This was a bucket list destination, and it didn't disappoint in terms of its beauty and scenery. It was quite the journey to get here, but ultimately worth it. The resort itself is a thing of beauty, just like the pictures. The staff is incredibly helpful, and the rooms at the resort are exactly what you see as advertised. This is a very remote island, so if you're traveling with a picky toddler, make sure you travel with enough of whatever they like. The food, on the other hand, was lacking for my palette. I understand they cater more towards the crowd that visits them more often, but I expected a bit better. Carry a travel size hot sauce bottle with you, IYKYK🙃. But, the gentleman that made the Naan bread (incredible stuff!) at Flavour made our dinners more tolerable. I would say that breakfast was acceptable on most days we were there. Like I said, this is a remote island resort, and it's for total R&R. They offer some water activities, if interested, but most of the time you'll be enjoying your time in the beach or pool. Oh! They also offer a playroom and mini Waterpark-ish for kids which was nice for my toddler. Overall, it's a great place for total relaxation!

Update: A Remarkable Turnaround at Kandima After sharing some concerns during the initial days of our stay, I feel it’s only fair—and important—to update this review to reflect the incredible turnaround we experienced. What stood out most was how the management truly listened. They didn’t just acknowledge our feedback—they acted on it. From ensuring we had the right rooms that met our expectations, to making sure the staff was not only attentive but genuinely warm and welcoming, their dedication to turning things around made a world of difference. No place is perfect, and I think it’s important to acknowledge that. But what is exceptional is when people take feedback seriously and go above and beyond to make things right. That’s exactly what happened here. The managers were proactive, understanding, and genuinely invested in making our experience better—not just for us, but clearly as a reflection of the standard they want to uphold. In the end, we had the amazing experience we were hoping for. It wasn’t just about a beautiful location, but about people who cared enough to make our stay special. My advice to future guests: speak up. Be kind but honest. If something isn’t right, let them know—because the team at Kandima will listen, and when they do, they work miracles. Thank you again to the staff and management for showing what hospitality should truly look like

We went with the water villa, all inclusive plan. Breakfast/ lunch = buffet with lots of options Dinner = Three courses A la carte Snorkeling = Lots of fish around our villa already Free = Sunset cruise/ Yoga/ snorkeling trip/ Kayak/ room mini bar/ pool side bar/ gym/ 30min spa/ 1 free photo etc Had a great time on the island and will plan to visit again in the future!

Great island and resort. Restaurants were outstanding, and two buffets hit the spot for breakfast. Gym is very new, equipment well keep. Staff was amazing. We scuba dived, was excellent. I stayed in a beach studio, amazing. Beach is steps away! Modern and well equipped. Walk to everything, but there are electric trollies running up/down the middle of the island. Also bicycles are available. Very level grounds.
