As a couple, we stayed at Brennia for two weeks at the beginning of November 2025. We've been to the Maldives several times before. The weather was consistently excellent. The Ocean Pool Villa was decent, and the pool was very clean. We were extremely impressed by the waiters Allan & Oliver in the restaurant and Sarah, Oliver & Nyi Thu in the bar (all three were very friendly, helpful, and nice!). That's where the positives end... The island is not barefoot-friendly – ​​broken paths and walkways with protruding screws make it impossible. Wine and cocktails were served in plastic cups. Despite being all-inclusive and having a pool villa, it was forbidden to take drinks back to the accommodation! The food was poor the first week and somewhat better in the second week (after a change of chef), but by no means up to 5 or 4-star standards. It's definitely worth mentioning that there was loud disco music both during the day (pool entertainment) and in the evenings (karaoke, beauty pageant, etc.). Even though a friendship developed between Oliver, Sarah, Nyi Thu, and us because they really tried their best, we won't be booking there again! The entire resort deserves a 3-star rating at best!

Our stay at Brennia Kottefaru Resort was amazing. The resort is beautiful, with crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and excellent scenic beauty. We stayed in a Deluxe Ocean Pool Villa, which was spacious, luxurious, and perfect for our family. The staff were warm, attentive, and very professional, making our stay truly comfortable. Food quality and variety were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended for families and couples looking for a memorable Maldivian escape. Seaplane airport transfer—truly another great experience.

We spent a total of three weeks on the island, and it was a truly wonderful vacation. The food was varied, and even as vegans we always found plenty of options to enjoy. We were especially impressed by the staff – Mr. Didarul from the buffet, as well as Oliver and Sara from the bar. They were always friendly, cheerful, and smiling, and made us feel very welcome. The water is crystal clear and absolutely beautiful. We stayed in room 616, which was cleaned every day. We lacked nothing during our stay and felt completely comfortable throughout our time at the hotel.

We stayed at Brennia Kottefaru for our honeymoon from 28th August to 3rd September , and it was absolutely amazing! ✨ From the moment we arrived by seaplane to the moment we left, everything was perfect. The island is huge, stunning, and surrounded by the most beautiful turquoise water. A special shoutout to Mr. Dhananjaya a Sri Lankan manager who guided us throughout our stay. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and made us feel right at home. We stayed in both a Beach Villa with Pool and an Ocean Villa with Pool both were beautiful with incredible ocean views and total privacy, exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. The buffet had plenty of variety and we loved the nightly themed dinners. Shows like fire shows, Maldivian night, DJ night, and magic shows kept us entertained every evening. Our all-inclusive package also came with unlimited mocktails and coffee which was great! We went on a sunset cruise and tried snorkelling for the first time such a lovely experience near the house reef. The staff were amazing, always checking in, refilling the mini bar, fresh towels, and quick service through WhatsApp. Even though we missed kayaking and paddle boating due to rough seas, everything else more than made up for it. Our honeymoon was unforgettable thanks to Brennia Kottefaru. Highly, highly recommend! ❤️🌊

Firstly, I wouldn't say this was a 5 star hotel but it's getting there. The staff are all warm and welcoming and would do anything for you. I have to give a special mention to Oliver and his sister, Sarah who were both exceptional. The food did repeat every week but there was enough options each day for this to not be a problem. Some of the structures need a lot of work doing, mainly the decked areas. A lot of the decking was either broken or sticking up making it a trip hazard. One of the jetties was in a bad state and would dare walk across it. Surprised it wasn't closed off. If this was sorted out then it would be more like A 5 star. There are sea planes taking off and landing throughout the day. A bit noisy if you're near that area but great to watch. Can't complain about them as without them you'd not be able to get to the island. Overall an amazing place to visit and would happily return some day
