A fantastic experience for our honeymoon. We are so glad we chose Blue Waters. We went during off season (September) so can only imagine how beautiful and lively the hotel is during peak season. We had fantastic service, particularly from Nathaneale at the pool bar, Alex the bartender, the brilliant meal staff Takeshi, Daniela, and Sheddy! Woody the cook also made us feel really welcome on the island, Nichole the manager was fantastic. And I must recommend a massage from Shanna - it was out of this world! It was an incredible experience, and we missed it when we left. The rooms are beautiful and very romantic, the pools are so clean. - and they do a great job managing wildlife and bugs. The food is honestly such high standard, clean and well presented. Great portions and you get great value for your money in the quality. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with relaxing atmosphere and a cold flannel and a gorgeous refreshing cocktail. Then you are taken to your room in a buggy and it is all very seamless. The beaches are genuinely private and you don’t have people selling you anything- they do have services such as jet ski you can do but they are so relaxed and you go to them! This was a complete polar opposite to the experience we had on the other side of the island, this is real luxury and we wish we never left. We will never forget this place and we hope to visit again some day.

My mother and I just traveled to Antigua for a week and were lucky enough to be able to stay at the Blue Waters Resort and Spa. This is a lovely resort with so much to offer, the rooms were beautifully maintained, the food and drinks are top notch for an all-inclusive. But what really made this a special trip was the staff. Checking in with KAREN was so seamless and she was always there to ask if we were ok and how were doing, a truly five star concierge service. Every day at breakfast, I was greeted by DERAH, SPARKEL, and KINA, which brought a smile to my face and made be feel so relaxed. They always wrapped up a to-go breakfast for my mom and it was just so nice to see people so genuinely happy to be there and help their guests. TRAMINE by the pool was an absolute pleasure - when I tell you the sweetest person I met and her drinks were amazing. Also, a special thanks to EMMANUEL to taking us all over the resort about 50 times in the buggy. Truly a great experience, we will be back! I will only add 1 note - it was difficult for a disabled person to get around the resort to some degree - consider a pathway directly down to the beach and to the pool area and definitely to each restaurant.

We were not guests of the hotel but visited one evening from another resort for dinner for my partner's birthday. All of the staff who served us, both in the bar and the restaurant were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The cocktails were great and the Caribbean barbecue at the Reef Restaurant was delicious - the ribs in particular were amazing! The ambience sitting out over the water with a live band playing made for the perfect birthday meal, and the complimentary cake for my partner was a special touch. Would definitely love to return on our next visit to Antigua!

The staff at this resort are some of the most hospitable, helpful, engaging, and friendliest people I have ever met in my travels. Kevin, Nicole, Karen, Derah, Sparkle, Emmanuel and several others were always attentive and quick to ensure all our needs were met. I especially want to thank the unsung heroes we never saw like the nighttime turn down service room attendants who made sure we often returned to our cozy Luxury Suite with a romantic ambiance. The Reef infinity pool was my absolute favorite place to spend time overlooking the water, listening to the waves, and watching the pelicans dive for food which never got old. We completely understand that island-wide prices are indicative of our current economy, tariffs, and the cost to import food to Caribbean islands, while also ensuring that hospitality staff are compensated for their expertise in ensuring guests' vacation experiences are seamless and stress-free; therefore, the 14% island-wide Antigua Barbuda Sales Tax (ABST) is assessed on all hotel stays on the island, not just at Blue Waters Resort and Spa. When tourists decide to visit this island destination, this should be clear. Tourists should do their due diligence to understand where they are visiting and the incurred costs involved so it is not a surprise once on the island. This is where working closely with a certified and well-qualified travel advisor/ professional can help prepare tourists for these nuances and knowing what to research and convey pre-trip. The mandatory minimum 10% service fee goes to all staff, seen and unseen, for their combined efforts to service the entire hotel. This should not be a complaint given that in the US, 18% and higher are the norm for tips and are now included in credit card machines for services we once would have never thought to tip for, and not even close to the level of attentive service received on this island, and at this resort, both of which fully recognize that tourism drives their economy and repeat visitors sustains the islands' economic lifespan. Many tropical destinations have added tourist levy fees environmental fees, sustainability fees, etc. It is helpful to know that for a resort to be plastic free, it is not an inexpensive commitment. These tropical destinations do not have the recycling infrastructure, facilities, staff, or budget to manage the inordinate amounts of trash left behind by tourists. Research this same problem in Venice, Italy, and the tourist tax assessed to daytrippers off cruise ships who descend upon the city in tens of thousands while leaving behind incalculable tons of trash at the expense of the city to cover. However, this tourism tax doesn't stop tourists from visiting Venice and it shouldn't stop tourists from visiting Antigua. I do, however, wish that some of the current tourism tax dollars went into improving the Antigan road system leading to their resorts as that does not make for a fun driving experience for tourists arriving or departing as airport transfers are anong the first and last impressions to be made to visitors. Nevertheless, I highly recommend visiting this island nation with the understanding that it is not like the more familiar, all-inclusive destinations. And, if it was based on service alone, I would put Blue Waters Resort and Spa up against any other five star property and let them win you over with their epic service and water views! #BlueWatersHotel #BlueWatersResort #VisitAntigua #Antigua #Caribbean #Travel

It’s my first time to make a review for a resort, this one has always been my favorite every time I went there. Room services are swift and time manageable for your needs. Room dining always arrive within 30 mins after placing order. Managers can response immediately if there’s injury or any issues. Even if you’re not looking for a stay, just dining, you’ll be able to find out how friendly and professional the staff are! Food is always good, activities around the island is supportive of your vacation planning! Overall, 10/10!
