Outstanding resort! Small rooms but didn’t spend much time in it. Staff was phenomenal! Buffet was primary food venue. Food was fresh & delicious but fewer options than other all-inclusive resorts. Lots of entertainment options, day & night. Friday night’s “Street Party on the Beach” is a MUST. Very calm & relaxing vibe. Will definitely be back. One of my favorite adults only, all inclusive resorts, yet! Shout out to Tyrain, Solange & Katie-Ann!!!!!

POSITIVES: - relatively spacious Garden View room (could also see the sea) with large balcony and sofa on it - good-sized bathroom - all staff are very helpful and friendly, esp. young man at cafeteria (sorry, forgot his name) - booking trips is very easy via excursion desk - we particularly enjoyed the stingray city tour - buffet food is varied and plentiful, something for everyone - a la carte dinner at the Pineapple Grill is a lovely change and in a great setting - the gym offers plenty of exercise and is air-conditioned - easy to grab a taxi outside the resort - the tortoise enclosure on the resort is lovely - we enjoyed the complimentary catamaran trip out - the grounds are well kept NEGATIVES × getting a decaff coffee at breakfast takes absolute ages x equally, drinks at dinner take forever to arrive so we tended to get them at the bar beforehand and take them in with us x the water pressure in our bathroom dropped significantly every morning, too low to have a shower or even brush your teeth x the beach bar is closed most nights, so only the main one available x despite what the BA Holidays blurb says, there are NO bicycles for hire at the resort (we had selected the place for its availability of bikes to explore the island), so no chance to cycle around the area x the evening entertainment (silly games, karaoke, DJ, etc) is dreadful x everything shuts down at around 23.00h, so got to make your own entertainment x the Italian a la carte restaurant Pietro is awful and ran out of the dishes we wanted both times we went x one treadmill and one cross trainer in the gym were broken throughout the two weeks of our stay (mo repairs being done)

Awesome! My wife Kim and I just honeymooned at Pineapple Beach Club. The staff, facilities and food were fantastic. Very laid back and inviting atmosphere. What a gorgeous view of the ocean. There are plenty of things to do on the resort...sunbathe, snorkle, kayak, play games, or just chill. I also highly recommend the boat ride around the island and a fishing trip. To top it off the beach party dinner is amazing. I have been to other all inclusives but this was by far the best. Can't wait to go back.

I will provide details for the overall score of this property as 2.5. Food Quality - 2.5, buffet was average at best with a lack of consitancy on the same daily offerings. Bar - 2.5, There were no top shelf liquor selections so if you don't drink fruity, sweet drinks your choices are very limited. Also, no in-room beverages unless, you pay $75 for selection that gets charged again as you consume it. Rooms - 2.5, The rooms were very dated and need refurbishing badly. the repairs that were done along the way fall short of good. The shower door looked as if was removed and just the door portion was caulked in place as a glass panel. mounting holes in the glass indicated this was not its original purpose and the volumes of caulk where something was previously mounted didn't help. Missing art work and tired furniture also didn't help. I was told by another traveler that the Oceanside villas have been refurbished. Grounds/Facilities 3. The grounds are spartan and not ver lush due to excessive weedwacking. There are exposed plumbing and conduit throuhout the facility with smaller bits of trash around. The public restrooms are clean and updated unlike the areas around the rooms. Entertainment 3, They have regular entertainment and activities and we engaged in the evening options. the talent was OK but it seemed as though the MC's took too much time from the real talent. Example, on Valentine's day they had a best couples contest that should have involved 3-4 couples and conclued in 30 minutes max. over an hour later we had lost all interest. Same with the DJ in "name that tune" when it went to "kids songs". Now the Good News, The location and staff are top notch. all staff members being cheerful, helpful, and upbeat. the location is great in a smaller bay with nice beach. Overall, for the price (this is not a discount resort) there are many better choices. The most disappointing aspect was the opportunity to upcharge for too many things from in-room beverages to on site dining options in excess of $100 per person.

Just returned from 5 nights there. Beautiful water, nice beach although only 200 yards long or so. Most people staying at this resort are older, 60+. Rooms were ok. Clean. Poor showers. Bed and pillows comfortable, a/c was good and cold. Food across the resort is average. Service is inconsistent and most do not look happy nor are friendly during service. You do not generally feel welcome in being there. Do not go to Shirley Heights which is a "locals party" that goes on every Sunday and Thursday night. This is a scam being run by locals and the hotel to bus people there and have them being charged, $10/person "cash only", to enter. Multiple drug dealers and other non desirables at the location. 1 girl in our group was drugged by a group of Europeans. Luckily some others in our group stayed with her and was able to get her safely back to the buses. Outside of the resort, the island is generally dirty and people not friendly to Americans.
