Ziva is a happening place! Krystal is indeed a great check-in gal. She upgraded us and sent a special birthday gift to our room. Our room is spacious with a great ocean view. Air conditioning is only complaint It never gets below 73. But I think that is by design. Pools are great. Well taken care of. Food choices are way better than we expect from an all-inclusive. This is a great place We are totally enjoying our week here

No air condition, outdated rooms, and poor customer service!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel 8 years ago and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, those memories have been replaced with disappointment. We booked two rooms for a one week stay at the hotel and quickly discovered the air conditioning did not work. The rooms were humid and damp. The bedding was also damp and smelled like mildew. We contacted the front desk staff and asked for someone to check the ac units on day 1 to no avail. We followed up with a second call on Day 2 and 5 hours later at 11pm the engineering staff arrived, confirmed the ac unit did not work and offered a BOX FAN. I refused the fan and stated we would need alternate rooms, because the rooms were too warm and damp with a horrid smell. The night manager called to say they would find us alternate room then called back after midnight to say they didn't have anything. He reassured us we would be moved the very next morning. At 6pm the following day we still had not heard back from anyone so I went to the front desk to complain and was advised they had 2 rooms for us, but they had not been cleaned. We were asked to wait 1 hour and someone would call us to be moved. Five hours later (11pm) after 3 additional calls we were advised rooms were ready and the bellman would move us. One hour later he arrived and never said one word to us. He tossed our bags on the cart rode in the elevator with us and didn't speak, unloaded our bags, and left. We quickly discovered the ac in those rooms were also not working and the cleaning staff left a trash can in the bathroom that appeared to have feces on it. We couldn't wait to check out of the hotel. Horrible customer service, outdated rooms with stains on the floor, fans throughout the hotel hallways airing them out, lobby without air and humid. When I asked what was happening with the ac I was told "we are having ac opportunities" which is corporate speak for the ac units are not working. After all of that we were promised a credit on our account for the inconvenience and poor service we received. I have had to call them 5 times since we left and still no credit! If you want your vacation ruined stay here. We won't be back!

Ok, there is a lot to talk about, but I will keep it short. I understand that nature can hurt places and I know the Huracán did a lot of damage in the island so for that part I completely understand about not having A/C in the rooms and at the lobby.
The food was great.
The service was helpful and very professional and kind
The pools are amazing
The room are also great but they need to fix a few details in the rooms that are visible and looks very bad and can make the room looks poor.
The entire property needs new painting and new roofing work and also they need to work more in the green areas so they look more beautiful.
Other than this few details. Me and my family had an amazing time and we enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall.
Amazing crew, very friendly, professional and kind. The excursion we had was a blast we had so much fun doing the Catamaran and the entire ride and experience was amazing and is very close to the Hyatt property.
The entire pool area amazing and so clean and beautiful scenery.
I give this property a 5 start because we had the best service and the best time ever.
Now. It is important to have A/C but I know they will fix that and also fix the other details I mentioned.
I recommend this properly 100% and yes I will come back.

Really need to do better with the rooms. From my understanding it's always hot in the rooms and the lobby. Terrible Terrible air conditioning at this hotel. It's already hot outside, when u walking in the lobby, your room or anywhere inside it should be instant coolness. Nope! Inside is just as hot as outside, even in the restaurants and lobby. No where to enjoy a nice sit down in cool air. Omg! And for all the money they charged that should be last any any list to go wrong. The customer service however is very very good. Lots of genuinely nice staffing there. But everything else needs a lot of work. Smh

Girl's trip, we had a fantastic time, the service was spectacular, everyone one was so friendly and accommodating. The guys in the front that greeted us as we entered off the bus, the check-in hostess (check-in was seamless), the guys at the bars,the ladies at the pool area, the entertainment crew, Thank you all for your hospitality. Also, every night, there was some form of entertainment. We enjoyed the guy who played the red piano. He was awesome (sorry cant remember his name). The band at the international restaurant. The violinist at the French restaurant. The food, wow such a huge variety, we had absolutely no complaints, each restaurant was delicious. Can't forget the coffee shops and sports bar. Most definitely, we will visit again and highly recommend .
