Pros Clean room and public spaces Nice shower Medium needs but comfy. Nice pillows Great breakfast buffet Nice lounge and bar. Live music on a Monday evening Great location Nice pool area with bar service too. Friendly reception staff. Easy check in Cons Many steps to ascend/decent to get to and from our room. Hallways are tiered with one landing per room and then more steps. Not bad if travelling light but cumbersome with luggage. The hallway near or room smelled very musty. Our room didn't. Spotty wifi We would stay here again. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends.

Crazy hotel configuration. My room was on the 9th floor. The hotel goes sideways. I took 3 elevators and walked a long corridor up hill and stairs to get to my room. It felt like a mile away from the lobby. If you have a knee or any problems with walking be sure to ask for a better room. The breakfast was great and the staff very professional. Good location. Also free parking.

Thanks Tivoli. We had a great stay. People complaining about the renovation standards - but we can't complain. Renovations are in progress, all the facilities are clean, the rooms are nice and even the garden, which goes all around the hotel is in a great shape. Thanks. See u soon.

Perfect location walking distance to charming streets, restaurants and shopping. Our room was very comfortable, clean and modern. So many amenities! Indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna. As well as lovely grounds outside. The breakfast buffet was diverse and very tasty. Super nice staff, loved our stay

The location was perfect for us, steps from the bus station, close enough to walk to and through the old town, across to the marina and the train station. The staff were very gracious and courteous throughout our stay. We received great recommendations for local cuisine in the old town. The resort has many lovely amenities, which we would have certainly enjoyed on a longer stay if the weather kept us indoors, which it did not. We had a bountiful buffet daily. As we were departing early this morning, much before the breakfast buffet generally opens, the front desk made arrangements for us to have a little breakfast before we left. The rooms and resort are very clean, but show many scuff marks in the closets, walls and baseboards. The other guests can be noisy at night in returning to their rooms and slamming doors which can be disturbing to a light sleeper. Overall our stay was quite comfortable and enjoyable. I do recommend the Tivoli Lagos Algarve as I would certainly return.
