While off the beaten track, this is a lovely resort. Even the dishes and cutlery is upscale. Our 1 bedroom unit is large and roomy. The beds are very comfortable as well. Had excellent sleep here. Lovely terrace. We we are opposite one of the pools We prefer not being in the touristy areas. You do need a car to get around.

When we arrived, there was no toilet paper or extra trash bags. After I called the front desk, I had to walk to reception, which was super far due to the hills. We also weren't able to use the pool bar because they were closed due to the off-season, which is understandable. I just would have liked to know beforehand . Great view every morning and super close to the town and market

We have just returned from a 2 night break at Clube Albufeira garden village, the service was excellent check in is not until 17:00 but our flight arrived early morning, the receptionist phoned us to inform us our room was ready by 11:30 then drove us to our room. The room was excellent positioned overlooking one of the four pools in the complex modern and clean with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. The kitchen is really well stocked with utensils and extra towels, pillows and blankets in the wardrobes. The breakfast in the pool restaurant was also lovely. We plan to return next year.

Old rooms, no washing machines in the rooms, small refrigerators, didn’t restock toilet paper, no heated pools (even though they said they had them), TV had horrible reception, no usb ports, pot holders were not heat proof, no oven trays, plates couldn’t go in the microwave because of the gold trim on the plates. You absolutely need a car if you are staying here the beach is a 40 minute walk

Check in at 5pm is too late for a short stay, even arriving at private villas, they can prepare them for 2pm entry. Reception staff not very helpful. The room was not clean, walls and soft furnishings with stains and dirt, apartment had an overwhelming smell of smoke, which made all of our belongings stink and was a struggle to sleep. Door lock faulty. The grounds and bar/restaurant lovely. Have stayed here several times before, but won't stay again.
