The newly renovated Signature Rooms stood out for their elegant design and refined colonial luxury. Airport transfers were seamless, comfortable, and thoughtfully handled, reflecting Sofitel’s high standards of service and care. The newly renovated Kids Club was a major highlight, impressing both children and parents with its engaging design and activities, despite the removal of nanny services for safety reasons. Facilities such as the gym, pool, and daily activities were excellent, with special mention of the foam party and aqua aerobics. Dining across all four restaurants was consistently impressive in terms of food quality, presentation, and service. SO SPA with L’Occitane provided a deeply relaxing and professional experience, with knowledgeable therapists and heartfelt service gestures that left a lasting impression. The Concierge team received exceptional praise for their personalised, sincere, and safety-focused service, especially in arranging tours and creating unforgettable family memories. Front Office, drivers, bellmen, and various team members were commended for their warmth, professionalism, and efficiency. Senior leadership and management were recognised for strong leadership, swift problem resolution, genuine care, and the ability to create meaningful, emotional experiences—particularly a surprise birthday celebration that deeply touched the family. Overall, the guest described the hospitality as surpassing even top-tier luxury brands, expressing strong appreciation for the hotel’s leadership, service culture, and commitment to excellence, and confirmed their intention to return.

I am fortunate in my job to spend time in hotels throughout the world and this one is lacking in a few different areas. The rooms, although large and spacious, are in need of a total renovation/modernisation.. the furniture is all large and heavy in a dark mahogany.. wardrobes are very 'clunky'. The bathrooms too are in need of modernising as they show significant signs of wear and tear. The pool area, although nice and quiet with a seperate children's area, needs a major overhaul as there are many loose/broken tiles, decayed and slimy grout in the pool, with a waterline of 'scum'around the edge. The surface of the pool is kept clean and free of leaves/bugs but that doesn't eradicate the dirtiness of the edges. The service from reception and concierge is impeccable, however the service in breakfast can sometimes be sloppy.. one day it took 40 minutes to get a coffee even though we politely asked twice. The food however at breakfast is of a good standard with plenty of choice for different palates. Overall around the hotel, the staff just don't seem as friendly as many of the other hotels we've experienced in Thailand. The hotel however is in a good location, within easy walk of many eateries, massage places and shops/stalls.

This hotel in Krabi has both good and bad points. Some of the staff are polite and helpful, while others came across as a bit disrespectful during my stay. The hotel is very large, which is great for many travelers, and there is plenty of space to walk around for guests who enjoy that. There is also a pool table to enjoy. With so much available space, it would be great if the hotel added a basketball court or a football court so adults and kids could have more activities. The beds were decent but not very comfortable for a high - standard hotel. What really needs improvement are the beds and the room keycards - I had several problems with my keycard and had to call staff almost every couple of hours. While the staff were apologetic, the issue kept happening and affected the overall stay.

Lovely stay at the Sofitel Krabi. Many of the staff are amazing, Notably Luke the new Intern from Newcastle doing a great jol for a newbie. Pee another trainee giving great service at Breakfast and the pool diner. Sky for his amazing cocktails and always has the team laughing. Sem for being a great host at the pool bar and Bright who welcomed us on arrival after a long flight. Our favourite waitress Palmy was amazing at both breakfast and at the pool diner, always smiling and happy to help. She is a credit to your organisation. Finally to Focus helped us so much on the first night with ideas and suggestions for the week ahead. Some good choices in the resort with the lunchtime diner offering the best options. Was hoping for a little more local dishes in the Thai but the Italian did a mean pizza and Porchetta. Rooms were spacious very clean and great service from our brilliant housekeeper Lim who left us a lovely note and flowers each night. I would recommend getting a room with Club Milesime usage as it's a great team in there and happy hour is a nice relief after a hot day round the pool! It's in a quiet spot with a few local residents in walking distance and I would certainly recommend the Grab app as the likes of Ao Nang is only 20 mins away if you fancy something a bit livelier with the night market and music bars like the Full Moon Bar The GM seemed to be everywhere keeping everyone happy and a credit to his organisation and has built was appears to be a happy, efficient and customer focussed team.

Sofitel krabi was a dream. We stayed for 8 days as a family of 3 with a 9 month old boy. We were lucky enough to be at the hotel for the Christmas lights turning on and Xmas market, including food, mulled wine, carols and a show put on by the staff which was lovely. The restaurants and club lounge We used most days. 3 times at the thai / Indian and once at the Italian. Gorgeous food and club lounge lovely for evening relax. Even though our boy is just 9 months, he loved the kids club (one of us stayed with him but other families with kids of a similar age did leave their kids with the staff). Staff in the kids club are amazing (former nannies and au pairs) who ran an array of activities for kids. Our boy just loved the ball pit, some of his toys from home were similar in there and he loved watching the older kids play. He also loved Nanu. We live in the UAE where we are spoilt for hotel choice. But honestly, this is one of the best family hotels ive ever stayed at - just something for all ages. Finally, but most importantly, the staff. The staff really made our stay exceptional. All of them. They work so hard and are so happy and attentive. And I wasnt ONCE asked for a Google review or felt someone was wanting a tip which is really refreshing compared with home (uae). I really have to highlight the wonderful work of Thalia and Bella, the guest relations team. I high recommend you meet them early in your stay. Their ability to help us with any request and show our boy true interest and affection was lovely. They even had a photo frame made up of our boy with santa placed in our room. A true dream team. Plus Sao in the white lotus restaurant went above and beyond. But truly, all the staff did and they really make this a hotel a special place, which despite checking out today, we already want to return.
