This was the BEST vacation I have EVER been on in my life. From the hostesses, to the food & restaurants, to the rooms with great views and superb amenities. It was definitely a dream come true to visit the Banyan Tree Krabi Resort. Although it rained a little for 2 days of my stay, the sun was out between 11-6 and it was an amazing sunset views. The breakfast was buffet between 6-11am with everything you could ever think of there to eat. It is nice inside, clean and has a chef that will prepare you food that they do not have readily available upon arrival. It was so quiet and peaceful there I wish I could live there. I got a massage while I was there, kayak and went to the Ao Nang Elephant Sanctuary. It was so fun and relaxing my entire stay. Thank you to Ying my host, the staff and everyone who made my stay special. The customer service was great and I have never been treated better. I am definitely going back and I can’t wait. See you guys next year !

We stayed at Banyan Tree Krabi in October 2025, and we have travelled around the world and stayed at many great hotels but the hospitality here is truly among the best we’ve ever experienced. Every staff member was incredible; kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. My wife has a very sensitive stomach and food intolerances, and from the first day, the restaurant staff made sure she always had meals suitable for her. They made a real effort to get it right every single time. A special thank you to the wonderful restaurant team — Olsng, Saina, Nine, and Priew, especially Priew, who always welcomed us with her sweet smile. The rooms were beautifully clean, and the housekeeping team, both in the morning and the evening, did a wonderful job. The room was spotless and had a lovely scent every night. And above all, a heartfelt thank you to Fah, the hotel host who welcomed us, showed us around the resort, and helped us change our room, making my wife’s birthday even more special. It meant so much to us, and we absolutely loved our stay. We absolutely recommend anyone traveling to Krabi to stay at the Banyan Tree, it’s truly exceptional.

This is place is heaven loved the location, service and the rooms were superb. We travelled with our son who is 19 months old and the way they took care of everything was exceptional. 1) if u are on a honeymoon don’t think twice and just have the best of time. 2) we came here with our son and as a family we loved every inch of it. 3) The room size to the service was impeccable and plus the private pool and jacuzzi was icing on the cake. 4) the staff were super friendly and always there to give the best service. 5) they had a play room which was so cute we would stay there during afternoon or after breakfast…and he ended up making friends…outside the play area was a bar facing the ocean where we would end up having our drinks and have a great time … 6) they had 2 restaurants and one Which was Thai special and having a great view and food. The second where we would have our breakfast everyday …and they are kid friendly and they serve some amazing kid special menu ..and of u sit outside there will be birds…who Will keep the little one occupied.

We had a super and memorable family holiday at Banyan Tree Krabi and will definitely be back! 5 star all the way! The staff was exceptionally nice, responsive and proactive (including helping with our kid who was sick), including Pin and Gigi and everyone. The views were beautiful, lots of activities in and around the resort. The kids loved the kids water play area and slide. The food was one of the best in all the hotels we have stayed in Southeast Asia, especially at Saffron Restaurant. We did a super fun and delicious cooking class with Chef Bank, M and Khun Noogie at Saffron - loved it! The buggy were always super fast to arrive to do pickups and dropoffs. The spa treatments were excellent as well.

The resort is really amazing, from the look to the staff. Everything at this resort is well thought of, the they have two drawers in the room one for male and one for female with equipment for them, filled out each day, we had pool in our room and they cleaned the pool every day and spent like 20 - 30 min to clean our room, you walk around the resort and you see a lot of maintenance work and painting work which is really nice to see that they place is being taken care, all they day the staff is working hard and give the best service I got by far. When I needed ride or anything I asked the staff and got that in matter of minutes very available team. The breakfast is amazing big diversity and high level of special food menu. The spa facilities is really impressive. For the cons which I have only three: 1.Location: the place is really really quiet and separated, it is literally at the end of the road at the end of krabi. There is nothing close in radius of 4 km, you go out of the resort and there is nothing close, and I mean nothing, everything will make you take bolt which is very available and chip. The closest thing is 7 eleven and it is 4km far(not walking road very dark and narrow), after that there is really nothing close, the center is 30 min drive. So unless you want to spend thousands of bahts(next con) you will need to take taxi for approximately 30 min there are restaurants closer but nothing I’ve heard of but also these will make you take taxi because it is 12 min ride. 2.Price: The resort is high level resort and so are the prices, they will offer you afternoon tea at beautiful place(amazing place) at 3,600 bahts just for tea and some thai sweets, for me it does not make any sense to pay that money for spicy tea. The cocktails at the pool cost around 500 bahts which is ridicules, also the oneperson pizza is around 800 bahts, again really expensive. To conclude, everything to eat or drink is very expensive for thailand, you can eat at krabi night market for 100 baht and to drink huge fruit shake for 60 baht and you will be way fuller and satisfied than eating in the place restaurant even though I am sure the taste is amazing, just to compare I am now at khaolak at the best resort the place can offer and I have complimentary drinks in the room(cock, cock zero, water, soda, tonic) and snacks(snickers, lays and peanuts) and I ate two meals at the hotel in the lunch which cost me 250 bahts each and the cocktails here costs around 250 bahts and the current resort is 5 star and rated 9.5 on booking, I really don’t see reason why banyan tree is so expensive also you won’t get any complimentary things in the room(not even milk for the coffee). 3. Class schedule: the classes are really not frequent, you have 1-2 classes a day in adjacent days, for example they hosts Muay Thai in Sunday and Monday only, I got to the resort on Tuesday and I love Muay thai so I was really disappointed to see they do it in two adjacent days so I missed the class, for the price you pay to stay night at the resort they should provide more diversity and more classes during the day, for me it felt they had the classes just to say they have classes and not really thought about the poor arrangement and diversity. But with everything I’ve said, the whole experience was near perfect just minor tweaks I think should be taken care of(not the locations obviously). I really recommend the place for stay it will be the most beautiful and quit vacation you will have and for sure when I will come back to Thailand I will come to krabi for the Banyan tree, really amazing stay.
