We had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn Resort! The breakfast was super varied and delicious, with plenty of options for every taste. Our room was spotless, shiny, and very clean, and the large, comfortable bed gave us an excellent night’s sleep. The location is great, very close to the beach, and the service throughout the resort was excellent. We also loved the happy hour at the pool bar—such a nice touch for relaxing afternoons. A special thanks to Mary at the reception—she was so kind and helpful in every way. We really appreciated her and would definitely love to come back!

I had stayed with my family for 3 days in May. The experience was wonderful. Beautiful rooms, excellent service, breakfast spread and food was awesome. The hotel is located right in the middle of Krabi town and hence a short distance from shopping areas, night markets and beach. The pool and spa facility was awesome. Highly recommended for families who need a peaceful vacation with every possible thing within the reach.

Loved the entire property with good rooms, good restaurant, friendly and courteous staff members, location is superb too. The only improvement point will be on the swimming pool area which looks a little dated and not that aesthetically pleasing, but bonus points for providing shower gel at the open shower by the pool. The spa also seemed dead with zero customers for the 3 days walked passed. Houskeeping staff was also weird as they partially cleaned our room and replenished the amenities but the didn’t change the towels and sheets but instead left the whole bundle of fresh linens at the luggage rack in the room, not sure if this was intentional or someone was in a rush? Also noticed a majority of the guests staying in this resort were from India.

When I booked this hotel, I confused it with the original Holiday Inn Krabi, which used to be by the sea and is now just called Holiday. I stayed at the original twice and it had a very pleasant vibe—both because it was on the beach and thanks to its overall atmosphere. You can’t say that about this one; I really don’t understand why Holiday Inn replaced it. This hotel is called a “resort,” but it isn’t a resort—it’s just a few buildings set into a hillside in the jungle. The rooms themselves are fine and clean, but everything else is AVERAGE. The restaurant and breakfast are average. If you stay right on the main road, you’ll get noise all day and night. If you have a room with a pool view, it’s quiet and nice. What I’ve noticed is that the hotel is mostly used by flight crews who have contracts to stay here. This is my third time in Krabi over the last 12 years, and now it’s become mainly an Indian place. There are Indian restaurants everywhere, and this hotel tailors much of its menu to Indian guests. They even complain in reviews about some kind of racism, which I don’t get, since they’re the majority here, along with Chinese and Russians. The whole of Krabi feels like “Little India,” and I don’t see any reason to go back. When I want to visit Thailand, I want to be in Thailand—eating Thai food and experiencing Thai culture. Otherwise, the price-to-performance ratio is very good.

We took the family room with a view. It was lovely. Kids loved the bunk beds. The little one loved the tipi tent. It felt like "their" room to them, rather than another room where they get the sofa bed. The view is absolutely a joy to wake up to every morning. Breakfast was fine, with a good variety. Pool isn't huge , but never felt crowded. All in all, great value!!
