Stayed at this resort for a week with my friends. Best part out of the whole resort was the beach. The beach is super crystal clear water and amazing. The food was horrible because everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner it’s the same thing. There is absolutely no variety of food to choose from. My room was amazing, super clean, and I never had to ask for any items. The bartenders are very friendly. After 10 pm there is nothing to do in the resort everything is dead. Throughout the day there is a vibe team who try to entertain people. Last but not least don’t let the lobby staff fool you they told us we don’t need to make reservations to restaurants first come first serve but when we got there supposedly everything is booked because of diamond club. We saw plenty of tables and the staff refused to seat us down because we were not diamond club members.

This hotel was amazing! We stayed here on holiday and it was worth the trip! We didn’t even have to leave the hotel as it was so fun just laying by the pool. When we arrived, we were greeted by the staff and gave a welcome drink which was really tasty. The food there was so good. There are activities on almost all the time to play. There are three pools; a volleyball pool, normal pool and a diamond club pool. We stayed in a Diamond club room which was really nice. Every time our room was cleaned, the staff would refill our fridge with nice drinks. The staff there were making you feel welcome. It was one of the best holidays I’ve been on. I highly recommend staying in this resort!

Reviews are indicative of the experience. The food is mediocre at best. The liquor is better quality than you’d expect. The service is l terrible. We asked to change rooms four times with no luck. The second day the manager said she wanted to meet with us so we assumed it was to get the room change we had requested. We waited on her for over thirty minutes in the lobby - she then told us she had too many people arriving and we could check back the next day. We did again the next day with no response. The party next to us was extremely loud during our stay - yelling, alarms that they wouldn’t turn off, etc. We were also bummed since we called ahead about the room and the occasion. We’ve stayed in a lot of nice and not nice places around the world - it’s disappointing when you pay for nice and it’s not. Not that this should matter, but I’m a Marriott Ambassador member and my partner is Titanium. You’d think they’d care about loyalty of all their members but especially the ones who spend over 100 nights a year in a Marriott. :(. The beach the property sits on is beautiful. Overall, Antigua is beautiful and there are better places to stay.

The resort was fantastic, also location, how can such a beautiful place fail to train their staff leaders on basic customer service skills. I can’t believe that this resort failed us on basic issues. For 3 days no one came to clean our room, once they did and took the towels we were no longer able to get any more clean face towels, these things are minor and shouldn’t been an issue that takes away the greatest of this experience.

Definitely not a 5 star resort as reported by google. The property is a good size - spacious but doesn’t require a golf cart. The pool and beach are really this resort’s selling qualities. From check-in to check-out their team is disorganized and lacks communication. It seems like much of the resort (guest services and dining) function using pen and paper which doesn’t allow them to be efficient or keep track of basic operations. The bathroom in the hotel room smelled like sewage. Some other guests we met who were staying on a different floor said their room smelled also. The most disappointing aspect of the resort is the lack of customer service. Many staff do not greet customers pleasantly. One day I asked the young woman working in the gelato shop (name starting with a R) if they were open because the container was all but empty and she was wiping the counter down. Her response was “apparently.” She saw my facial reaction of disappointment and tried to laugh it off and ask what I liked. While this is just one example, I had experiences like this from beginning to the end and unfortunately don’t plan to return or recommend anyone else visit this resort. Of course not all employees were rude or disrespectful but I’ve never been told “no we can’t do that” so much in my life! I don’t expect servitude but I do expect pleasant customer service and a problem solving attitude.
