Our Return to Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North: Reflections One Year Later This was our second stay at Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North. We first visited the hotel in 2024, during its opening season. Back then, the experience felt magical - everything was brand new, fresh, and carefully maintained. The hotel had a calm, almost serene atmosphere, with relatively few guests. The staff were all smiling and warm, radiating a genuine sense of optimism and hospitality. It felt like they truly believed in the bright, fairy-tale future of this resort. Naturally, we wanted to come back and relive that wonderful feeling. But this year’s visit turned out to be more complicated and, at times, even a little disappointing. 👎 Downsides & Overall Impression Of course, there were some downsides, and they’re worth mentioning: • Staff enthusiasm has noticeably declined since the hotel’s opening year. • Fish and seafood options have decreased compared to last year. • The main dining area is often overcrowded, and it’s hard to find a seat. • Some guests behave poorly, and staff often seem reluctant to intervene. • Overall, the level of service feels less personal and less inspired than before.

A special thank you to Faisan, who ensured our luggage was delivered promptly and handled everything with great professionalism and a warm smile. Also, sincere appreciation to Ali, the Chief Concierge, whose expert assistance in planning our sightseeing around Qatar truly enhanced our trip—his local insights were invaluable. Our room was kept impeccably clean throughout the stay—kudos to the housekeeping staff for their attention to detail and care. We also really enjoyed the food served at the M2 level restaurant—delicious, fresh, and a great variety to choose from. Thank you for making our trip to Qatar so smooth and memorable. Highly recommended!

We spent our lovely 24hrs in this hotel and its great! I love the villa(sea shore view) that gives a very relaxing ambience. The staffs are all well mannered, very approachable. Very recommended to spend time with your loved ones❤
