If you ask for a renovated and (somewhat) quiet room it’s really not as bad as reviews make it. Only quite noisy from the outside neighbors sometimes (so bring headphones to sleep) and I feel the room could have been cleaned better. But definitely worth for what you’re paying.

This hotel is what you make of it! For what we paid we are happy with our experience. I understand the people saying it is “outdated” (we are staying in an updated Superior room), however, the service we have received this far and the cleanliness of the room and the hotel is exceptional! I’m not a person who is hard to satisfy, I understand that you get what you pay for, and for the price my partner and I paid we couldn’t be happier. -AC in the room -Friendly, approachable staff (of whom went above and beyond to accommodate my father, who injured himself prior to the flight, out ended up needing to hire a mobility scooter, the staff were unaware at time of arrival of this, allowed him to store and charge his scooter in a secure place as it couldn’t fit in the lift to his room) -Early check-in upon arrival with no extra charge -No noise issues at night time -Perfect location for local amenities -Inexpensive I had read some of the reviews prior to the visit and I was in two minds but I’m so glad I came to see for myself, as my personal experience this far has been top notch, but that’s not to downplay anyone else’s, this is just my own opinion. For under £1000 I couldn’t really ask for much else.

You get what you pay for. My partner and I have recently stayed at this hotel for 2weeks. We had specifically upgraded to a superior room to have one of the renovated rooms. On entry we found a few things that weren’t cleaned properly but we moved passed it as that’s expected from a 3star hotel. For the first 4days of our stay there was no sign of room service and we started to get really irritated because our bin was over flowing along with other bits and bobs that needed to be taken care off. On the 5th day we finally had a lovely lady come and sorted us out everyday until the end of our stay.I never caught her name but she was the one that made our stay better. Half way through cooking our dinner the electricity went,we waited about 15mins for someone to come and have a look at what the problem was.In the end it was just the stove but I’d be happy to have known that before entering the room as it’s not good to mess with hungry people. The hallways were a little scary if you were walking through during the night. Sometimes they didn’t turn on and sometimes they did. Close to the main attractions. Moving passed all the obstacles we would come back as the area is quiet and allows you to relax.

Nice hotel everyone is polite and helpful. I liked the location as well because it's close to the main city. I recommend having a breakfast. it's not too hot in the rooms. When it's 33 Celcius outside feels cool inside.

AVOID THIS HOTEL! Horrible service, didn’t even allow me to refill a bottle of water to take away from the buffet. The responsible lady at the restaurant was very disrispectful, as well as the waiter. Rooms are extremely outdated, shower leaks and doesn’t keep the temperature, refrigerator was noisy the entire night and the location of the room is on the aisle side to the elevator, with special mention of the music being played by the neighors on the other side of the street. Really don’t recommend.
