The island of Furaveri is approximately a 45-minute seaplane ride away from Velana International Airport. Domestic transfers are available from Velana International Airport to Dharavandhoo and Ifuru airports, which take approximately 20 minutes, followed by a 45-minute speed boat ride to Furaveli Maldives.

Beautiful island with great food.
Service was great at the bar and special restaurants, but slow at the main restaurant.
Rooms were spacious but needed some maintenance.
Evening program was mostly late and the program was usually different than in the schedule.

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon. We loved it so much we even extended our stay by a day. I have never met a staff that is so kind and so caring. We stayed in the sunset pool villa and the view is lovely. The AC, plus the pool close by, is a godsend because it was hot & humid, even with the rainy days. I hurt my ankle and the on-site doctor came by with medicine and a wrap really quickly! Accessing help is easy. Getting around is easy too as the resort is walkable, as well as buggies that drive around to pick you up. The food was good, with some meh items, but it was different daily. The greenery around the island is lovely to look at. There are beautiful reefs and wildlife to see. Water sports equipment can be rented and excursions can be booked at water sports or the front desk (depending what it is). We were able to scuba dive. My intro course was fantastic (shout out to the amazing Dive Club staff!) The villa we stayed in is clean and pretty. We were happy!

Lovely Hotel overlooking the indian ocean, all rooms face the sea.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.They're always smiling and positive and this positive vibes goes around in the island.
I had a beach villa , which for two persons it was big and spacy. Room was very modern, all amenities were good.
Hotel premises are very nice, with great pool area and private beach.
The main Restaurant by the sea and pool area was cleaned everyday. Each night had a theme of different cuisine so you'll never regret having a full or half board.
The lounge area outside was also very cool, live performance in the evenings overlooking the indian ocean were entertaining.
Overall a nice Island , specifically we want to thank Mr.Hussain who was the front desk manager and Ms.Shaily our helper in the island.
Mr.Hussain helped us feel really at home and he put a smile on our faces on our 10th annivesary. We really appreciate it and it was so nice of him.

We have booked this resort through travel partner for our honeymoon. The resort is a paradise definitely. The views and rooms are spectacular and breathtaking. Breakfast buffet is top notch but at times in lunch and dinner i found the breads to be cold and even the prepared fish items too.
Few of the things which we expected from a 5 star property dint stand with those expectations. One of them was gap among management team, we had our honeymoon inclusions which were not given at the time of welcome but were reminded to them to which the lady told they weren't aware of and then even when we told them to give to us in the next ocean villa, they setup in the evening when we were out for dinner even without our knowledge. Later on found they promised to give us sparkling wine but gave red wine instead.
In the rooms, bathroom slipper and bath robes were missing in both of dhoni pool villa and sunset ocean pool villa. I guess these things are not supposed to be reminded of.
Another was our scuba diving experience, we had taken couple scuba with photo video and based on my prior experience in scuba,one diver and one photographer goes but here it was only 1 guy and two of us who had to ensure our safety and click pictures which he can't do both at the same time. Even though we have spent a lot here but did not do justice with it. We expect more from this resort. They could have send 2 divers with us.
