⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Stay After a Rough Start – Thanks to Saya & Gayan! We recently stayed at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives and our experience had two very different parts. The first couple of days were disappointing, and we felt our concerns weren’t being handled properly. However, things completely changed once we started dealing with Saya at the reception. She genuinely cared about our comfort, listened to every detail, and made sure our stay improved. Her professionalism and kindness made a big difference. A big shoutout as well to Gayan at Fen Bar. He was outstanding from the moment we met him – friendly, attentive, and always making sure we were looked after. His service and attitude were the highlight of our stay. Tips for future travelers: • If you have any issues, speak directly with Saya – she handles things quickly and with care. • Don’t miss spending time at Fen Bar – ask for Gayan, he makes the best drinks and gives great service. • The views and water villas are beautiful, but communication is key if anything needs fixing. Overall, our holiday ended much better than it started thanks to these two amazing staff members.

We truly had the time of our lives. Everything was beautiful, luxurious, clean, and incredibly relaxing. The water was crystal clear, that perfect baby blue. The hospitality was top notch and the management was clearly strong. Earnest went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic time and was honestly one of the highlights of our entire experience. The food was amazing - from the morning brunch experience to the seafood restaurant overlooking the water.

Our stay at Cinnamon Velifushi was absolutely amazing. The transport was perfectly organized from start to finish — just a small tip: you should be comfortable with boat rides, as the transfer can be a bit adventurous 😉 The hotel itself is stunning and extremely clean. The food and drinks were excellent, with great variety and quality. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always smiling. One of the highlights was the marine life: sharks, colorful fish, and rays can be seen right at the doorstep and swimming between the water villas. A truly unforgettable experience — we would definitely come back!

We visited the Island in November for 2 weeks, the flight was with Emirates on the A380, on arrival at Male Airport the service was super quick through immigration and to collect our bags. We then went to the Cinnamon desk to check in with them, we were taken to a seating area while we waited for 2 other guests then onto the speedboat ride which took about 1 hour 15 minutes to arrive at the island. From first setting foot onto the island all I can say is wow, wow wow. We were met by Sheila and Amalshan who very quickly checked us in, as the room wasn’t quite ready a separate room was provided so that we could freshen up and get changed. Our room was room 202 right on the beach, from bed to beach was 10 paces and the view was stunning, we couldn’t have wished for better, the room was looked after by Ihaam from the house keeping team and what a gem he was, always polite and courteous and good to chat to. The food at the hotel is out of this world and if you can’t find anything to eat then you are a picky eater, the Restaurants are headed up by Chamile who is a gentleman, the Restaurant supervisor is Earnest and again an absolute star. The Soux Chef Mohamed Raj did make us some Sri Lankan Hoppers for breakfast and you need to try them they are lush. All the bar staff were very attentive and knew what your drinks were as soon as you walked towards the bar and the cocktails were on point. The beach is out of this world, one day we counted about 11 different shades of Blue, soft sand and blue sea, what more can you wish for. Anyone looking at this and reading poor reports please do not believe them, this Island is absolutely superb and you will want to return. Much love to all MArk & Anna xx

My wife and I had a magnificent vacation at the Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives. Our bungalow was on top of the water, spacious and clean. The resort staff members were great, their hospitality and kindness were on the ‘next level’ especially Mujey, Maan and the manager Earnest from the restaurant, Mohammad Raji and Hansi from the kitchen who took care of our special dietary needs -Gluten free- very seriously, and Nichole from the diving center. Their support through out our one week stay was excellent. The food was great for all inclusive package. The spa experience was amazing. The excursions and activities were fantastic, we snorkelled with sharks, turtles and lots of sea creatures, watched dolphins and dove in the ocean.
