Live the dream in blissful surroundings at the Cinnamon Velifushi, a magnificent 5-star haven of luxury in the magical Maldives. The holiday of a lifetime will begin the moment you arrive by speedboat or seaplane at this charming family-friendly island resort in the Vaavu Atoll. You’ll stay in lavish accommodation which includes spectacular over-water bungalows and dine in top-quality venues, including a superb speciality seafood restaurant. The sumptuous Mandara Spa is the place for the ultimate pampering experience and the Hama Rhythmic Bar offers the chance to dance the night away. A range of exciting activities on the waves include sunset cruises, night fishing, canoeing, snorkelling, diving and dolphin watching trips in a local dhoni boat. There’s also plenty to keep the little ones busy including a pristine private beach for some sandcastle-building sessions, a kids club and a play area.

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful resort. The surroundings were stunning, and the food was absolutely delicious every single day. What truly made our stay special was the amazing service – especially from our waiter Rahish, who was exceptionally kind, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Absolutely amazing experience at your hotel! Starting with all the booking process which was made via Zenhotels but since we had some questions regarding a few things, all the guys who answered us were very kind and elucidated us on everything! The arriving to the hotel also went pretty well. We caught the seaplane from the airport and it was quite an experience! There at Cinnamon Velifushi everybody has welcomed us so very kindly we felt very comfortable and enjoyed all the things, activities and food they provide. People in front desk were very kind managing a good upgrade option for our stay! I would also like to mention a guy at VAH Restaurant, Ali. He took care of us and he was super! Funny guy, very polite, very kind, always paying attention and making us feel at home! I have to extend this personal compliment to everyone at the restaurant, to the massage girls, to the snorkeling and dive center guys! We took the snorkeling with sharks experience and they made us feel safe and comfortable all the time! We would like to thank everyone at Cinnamon Velifushi for contributing for our wonderful time there!

From the very first moment, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The resort is not only stunningly beautiful and perfectly located – a true picture-perfect paradise – but also shines through its incredibly friendly and attentive staff. A special thank you goes to Mubarak, our waiter, and Jameel from housekeeping. Both took excellent care of us with professionalism, warmth, and dedication, always with a smile. However, one person truly found a special place in our hearts: Hameesh, the waiter with the biggest heart and the most positive energy we’ve ever encountered in all our travels. His genuine kindness, humor, and uplifting spirit made each day unique and memorable. Hameesh alone would be reason enough for us to return to Cinnamon Velifushi at any time! The food was delicious and varied, the rooms beautifully furnished, very clean, and well-equipped. The entire resort is well-maintained, peaceful, and idyllic – the perfect place to relax and unwind. Thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back!

Everyone was friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Special thanks go to Sir Husam, our waiter – thank you for your consistently warm and pleasant service. To the breakfast master and pancake expert, Sir Senura – always smiling and kind, you made our mornings extra special.
