What a beautiful resort island, it’s absolutely stunning! The island and the villas are lovely, very clean and well kept. The staff have been delightful, all so friendly and willing to help with any query. We stayed in a sunset water villa for two nights, all inclusive, the food has been lovely with lots of variety. There is entertainment should you wish to join in, however if you’re just wanting to relax there’s plenty of space for that too. We did a lot of snorkelling here as there is a rich reef with lots of marine life. Would definitely recommend a stay here. 90 minutes from Male by speedboat.

Absolutely perfection. We chose this hotel due to its remoteness and on leaving the boat (nice smooth journey) the only thing to say was, 'WOW!' Our room was a Sunrise room, I'm pleased we didn't pay extra for a sunset room as the Sunrise rooms got more sun on the deck throughout the day. Our room was spotlessly clean and the fridge was restocked throughout the day. It would have been nice to have mini bottles of wine included, as the wine fridge drinks were extra. Food was varied and plentiful, something for all tastes. A lovely touch when the chef made my husband a special dessert for his birthday as well as a rendition of Happy Birthday ftom the waiters and a beautiful cake. The sea was SO clear and teeming with beautiful fish and other creatures. A variety of diving trips and such like were available and the resort also has a spa. The thing that really topped off our trip was the staff. They were friendly and attentive, 2 who stood out for us were Ali in the restaurant and Anas in the bar. We had a wonderful time.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Cinnamon Velifushi. Despite an unexpected flight delay, the resort handled everything with amazing professionalism and kindness, including refunding the first night we could not enjoy and surprising us with a complimentary upgrade to a seaplane transfer — an unforgettable experience. From the very first moment, everything was flawless. The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the entire staff is genuinely warm, attentive, and caring. We felt truly looked after throughout our stay and enjoyed every single moment. A truly exceptional experience — we would love to come back.

My wife and I had a magnificent vacation at the Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives. Our bungalow was on top of the water, spacious and clean. The resort staff members were great, their hospitality and kindness were on the ‘next level’ especially Mujey, Maan and the manager Earnest from the restaurant, Mohammad Raji and Hansi from the kitchen who took care of our special dietary needs -Gluten free- very seriously, and Nichole from the diving center. Their support through out our one week stay was excellent. The food was great for all inclusive package. The spa experience was amazing. The excursions and activities were fantastic, we snorkelled with sharks, turtles and lots of sea creatures, watched dolphins and dove in the ocean.

We visited the Island in November for 2 weeks, the flight was with Emirates on the A380, on arrival at Male Airport the service was super quick through immigration and to collect our bags. We then went to the Cinnamon desk to check in with them, we were taken to a seating area while we waited for 2 other guests then onto the speedboat ride which took about 1 hour 15 minutes to arrive at the island. From first setting foot onto the island all I can say is wow, wow wow. We were met by Sheila and Amalshan who very quickly checked us in, as the room wasn’t quite ready a separate room was provided so that we could freshen up and get changed. Our room was room 202 right on the beach, from bed to beach was 10 paces and the view was stunning, we couldn’t have wished for better, the room was looked after by Ihaam from the house keeping team and what a gem he was, always polite and courteous and good to chat to. The food at the hotel is out of this world and if you can’t find anything to eat then you are a picky eater, the Restaurants are headed up by Chamile who is a gentleman, the Restaurant supervisor is Earnest and again an absolute star. The Soux Chef Mohamed Raj did make us some Sri Lankan Hoppers for breakfast and you need to try them they are lush. All the bar staff were very attentive and knew what your drinks were as soon as you walked towards the bar and the cocktails were on point. The beach is out of this world, one day we counted about 11 different shades of Blue, soft sand and blue sea, what more can you wish for. Anyone looking at this and reading poor reports please do not believe them, this Island is absolutely superb and you will want to return. Much love to all MArk & Anna xx
