Live the dream in blissful surroundings at the Cinnamon Velifushi, a magnificent 5-star haven of luxury in the magical Maldives. The holiday of a lifetime will begin the moment you arrive by speedboat or seaplane at this charming family-friendly island resort in the Vaavu Atoll. You’ll stay in lavish accommodation which includes spectacular over-water bungalows and dine in top-quality venues, including a superb speciality seafood restaurant. The sumptuous Mandara Spa is the place for the ultimate pampering experience and the Hama Rhythmic Bar offers the chance to dance the night away. A range of exciting activities on the waves include sunset cruises, night fishing, canoeing, snorkelling, diving and dolphin watching trips in a local dhoni boat. There’s also plenty to keep the little ones busy including a pristine private beach for some sandcastle-building sessions, a kids club and a play area.

Absolutely paradise! Cinnamon Velifushi is simply breathtaking — the place is pure paradise. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The island is stunning, the water is crystal clear, and the vibe is so peaceful and relaxing. What really made the difference was the staff: everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. We felt truly taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy a piece of heaven.

An unforgettable stay in paradise! We had the pleasure of spending 8 wonderful nights at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives, and we were absolutely thrilled! From the very first moment, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The resort is not only stunningly beautiful and perfectly located – a true picture-perfect paradise – but also shines through its incredibly friendly and attentive staff. A special thank you goes to Mubarak, our waiter, and Jameel from housekeeping. Both took excellent care of us with professionalism, warmth, and dedication, always with a smile. However, one person truly found a special place in our hearts: Hameesh, the waiter with the biggest heart and the most positive energy we’ve ever encountered in all our travels. His genuine kindness, humor, and uplifting spirit made each day unique and memorable. Hameesh alone would be reason enough for us to return to Cinnamon Velifushi at any time! The food was delicious and varied, the rooms beautifully furnished, very clean, and well-equipped. The entire resort is well-maintained, peaceful, and idyllic – the perfect place to relax and unwind. Thank you to the whole team for this unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back!

A very pleasant stay, the Cinnamon Velifushi met and exceeded all our expectations. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were very varied and excellently prepared. Our water bungalow was spacious, and the advantage of diving directly into the reef from the veranda was unique. The entire resort is very clean and in excellent condition. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Many thanks to our waiter, Muje, for his outstanding service.

A paradise. My wife and I had a perfect vacation. The photos on social media are absolutely accurate. We stayed in a sunset-view bungalow with a private jacuzzi and direct access to the coral reef. The sandy beach has crystal-clear water, just like a pool. Beneath the surface, an aquarium of incredible fish unfolds. I recommend the all-inclusive package, which includes main meals and an open bar from 9 AM to midnight. The food is of good quality, with delightful pastries. Perhaps the only downside was a bit too much garlic (I don’t like it). The staff is kind, helpful, but never intrusive. The excursions to see sharks and dolphins are highly recommended. The spa is also an experience worth having.

We stayed at Cinnamon Resort for one week and had an amazing time! The place is tranquil and peaceful, offering breathtaking views of the turquoise water. The beaches and underwater world are incredibly beautiful, and the overall island is walkable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. I would like to particularly highlight the housekeeper from room 410; he was exceptional and always attentive to our little one. Dining was satisfactory, with a high variety of food options, including seafood and meat on different evenings. The local cuisine and delicious fruits were particularly outstanding. At the bar, there were numerous cocktail options made with quality alcohol! Here are some areas for improvement for a ***** hotel: - Unfortunately, we booked a beach villa, but upon arrival, it was unavailable, and we were given a water bungalow instead. We were later informed that this was only an upgrade for two nights, which was not mentioned during check-in. This was frustrating, as we would have never agreed to that, especially with a baby, as it would have required us to move during our vacation. Fortunately, the manager resolved the issue and kept us in the same room. - The baby cot was not set up in our room, and the resort does not provide a baby mattress. The housekeeper was nice enough to make a mattress from a duvet. - The barbecue evening was priced at an additional $150, and the same type of fish was available the following day as part of the all-inclusive dinner, which felt strange. - I recommend adding hooks for towels in the villas. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and with these improvements, it could easily be even better!
