The holiday of a lifetime will begin the moment you arrive by speedboat or seaplane at this charming family-friendly island resort in the Vaavu Atoll. You’ll stay in lavish accommodation which includes spectacular over-water bungalows and dine in top-quality venues, including a superb speciality seafood restaurant. The sumptuous Mandara Spa is the place for the ultimate pampering experience and the Hama Rhythmic Bar offers the chance to dance the night away. A range of exciting activities on the waves include sunset cruises, night fishing, canoeing, snorkelling, diving and dolphin watching trips in a local dhoni boat. Had the holiday of a lifetime here! From the second I arrived to the moment I left nothing could have been more perfect! Every single member of staff we spoke to were incredibly polite and couldn’t do enough for us. Special shout out to Nato who was our waiter, perfect service every time.
The island was very well kept, clean and tidy at all times and the facilities were of a very high standard. We were lucky enough to stay in a sunset water bungalow with a jacuzzi on the terrace which was amazing. Room was very clean and in perfect condition.
Food was amazing for every meal, great selection of drinks available at all times.
Can not recommend Cinnamon Velifushi and all the amazing staff enough! Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

Unbelievable nature - trees, plants, unusual birds, fishes and shellfish around you. Once in a lifetime experience! The staff was just amazing, attentive and welcoming. I also was pleasantly surprised how good the food is, read a couple of reviews that people are not happy to see Indian food all the time… you are in Indian Ocean actually :) there was a plenty of choice - Korean, Italian, American, Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican, Greek. I was impressed. Even Australian wine was okay. Never take a boat, buy plane tickets only. If it’s windy you’d be jumping 90 minutes on a seat. Cleanliness in rooms could be improved. Echo all other reviews - cocktails are not great, I wonder why so if they say the alcohol is original. Only one bar/lounge all day open, another one closed and Marlin restaurant also, although the hotel is full

We had just an excellent stay at this resort on a paradise island. The location is just fabulous with great snorkeling places around. The food is diverse and of good quality. The service at the restaurant is excellent.
Two bars with live music is just great. A lot of beverages and snacks.
A very well equipped gym facility with an excellent personal trainer; thank you Mihira for your excellent guiding. I also liked your music choice at the gym 🙂
They offer many excursions, which are great.

This is an amazing destination for getaway. There are very nice snorkeling spots. Food is also very good and tasty. Go for All Inclusive package and Sunset villas. But be ready for the longest checkout ever. There is only one cashier guy and he works very slowly. It could take an hour or longer for you to settle your bills.

I and my husband came to Cinnamon Velfushi for honeymoon. We reserved water villa with sunset view and jacuzzi and it was absolutely amazing. The water under the villa was so clean and transparent that we could see all kinds of fishes. We were also lucky to see a shark and a stingray. We rented snorkeling equipments for just $17 and snorkeled around our villa. Luckily, the hotel also gives life jackets!! Highly recommend 👍
