A beautiful looking art deco style hotel in a very central position in Manhattan . The history of the building as shown in the small museum type area they have was really interesting.
The rooms were very clean and well maintained. A big mention must go to the staff who were first class . I required my room to be changed,so I was beside my daughter’s room . This was done with the minimum of fuss . They were also helpful with any other requests or questions I had .
You are practically a stones throw away from Madison Square Garden, ten minutes walk from Times Square or Broadway theatres and a short walk from the Empire State Building and Macy’s department store .
I would highly recommend this hotel and when I go back to New York, I will definitely be going back to the New Yorker Hotel !

I stay with my family several times at this hotel and always nice.
Staff (s) are friendly, responsible and helpful. The parking lot is small, but there are some parking team always help you to get the parking slot.
Inside hotel is nice and totally smoking free.
For the cleanest, they have to maintain and improve a little bit like cleaning the stain at che coffee/tea cup or have to change with new one if necessary.
Breakfast is standard and quite nice.
Overall, we feel comfort staying here

Where do I began. Horrible customer service. Horrible customer service. Horrible customer service. This hotel is old, outdated, scary, dull, confusing and horrible place to stay. Not even worth for what they charge. The hotel charges for everything. Early check-in charge (2pm).
Late check-out charge. Room upgrade charge (understandable) . Check-in bags charge $5 per bag even if you already paid hundreds for your reservation to stay with them. No call, no text or no email telling us if the room was ready. Constantly have to check with Front desk to see if the room were ready. Never was told about Resort fees $30-$35 per night plus taxes, state blah blah charge. The location saves this hotel. The location was extremely convenient . Close to major intersection. Will never recommend anyone here. Horrible customer service. The pictures and videos looks way better than the actual hotel. Oh and don't get off the wrong floor, just go straight to your room.

The location is excellent; the hotel is clean; the rooms are small, but serviceable. The décor is dated (old carpets and curtains). The 24-hour diner in the lobby is very handy! The service was mostly good, but I did have one rude hotel clerk.
