This hotel exceeded all my expectations! The rooms were impeccably clean and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment throughout my stay. The highlight of my mornings was the delicious breakfast spread offered by the hotel, with an abundance of options to choose from. From fresh fruit to fluffy pancakes, there was something for everyone. The attentive staff ensured that every guest had a delightful dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional amenities."

I've never stayed in a 4 star hotel that does not have tea and coffee facilities in the room or room service, but this may be a NYC thing and not specific to the Riu. If you have a baby this means you won't be able to heat bottles or food in your room. I also found the staff a bit hit or miss. Some were lovely, others less interested making your experience a great one. Decent food choices at breakfast and comfy beds, but the $100 for taxes and services was high considering the gym is pretty basic and the only thing provided in the mini bat was 3 x 500ml bottles of water. I was expecting a lot more from this hotel.

Location is perfect for a New York itinerary. Clean rooms, professional and helpful staff and the breakfast I couldn’t fault. I even got back my security deposit within the hour. I asked for a high floor before check in, was given the 24 floor and the view was amazing. The only thing breakfast does get busy so try and go early. Other than that 10/10 and will stay again on my next New York trip.

We stayed here 3 nights this week. Fantastic location. Great prices. Service could be better at the check-in counter. I went to see if they have any pain medicines, it was around 9-10pm, the guy the reception responded very rudely “we don’t give out medicines”.
Ps. The breakfast buffet is beyond amazing. Well worth the money. Staffs there work hard to manage lines, plan seating, breakfast offerings are wide varieties, very neat set up.

Very clean and simple rooms. Excellent breakfast buffet!
The only negative was that we had paid for a 2 hr late checkout at 1pm. Exactly at 11am, the maid came banging on the door and woke us up. When I told her that we had paid for a late checkout at 1pm, she got a little snotty and said "I dont have you down on my list as a late checkout". I told her to call down to the main desk because I DEF paid for it.
