I stayed here for my honeymoon in December 2025. My wife, and I chose the Water Villa room. We could snorkel from our backyard! Let me tell you, this place is gorgeous. The all inclusive package included breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet (well worth it). It also included some other amazing perks. The staff was friendly, warm, and welcoming. Our experience was splendid. If you are thinking about staying here, please don't double guess. You will love it here.

A place definitely to enjoy with your couple. Was a really nice stay and everything was perfect. The team take so much care about you and you just have to enjoy the paradise. Blue water, lot of fishes and best food/drinks. Thank you so much the whole team. Shamaau made it really feel special. Yesterday, after enjoying an outdoor meal, a staff member wearing a blue shirt informed us that we could come inside and continue with the buffet if we wished. Based on this information, we felt welcome and assumed that returning later would not be an issue. However, today, after dining at a Japanese restaurant where the food was neither delicious nor appealing, we lost interest in dessert and decided to return to the buffet instead. Our trip would have remained perfectly enjoyable had we been able to overlook these small inconveniences. Unfortunately, what happened next made us feel deeply embarrassed and humiliated. When we arrived at the buffet and began to take food, a staff member approached us and said that we were not allowed to eat there. Her added that since we had already taken one plate, we would not be allowed to take a second one. This comment made us feel extremely ashamed, as if the staff believed we were being greedy. I want to make it clear: if I can afford to travel here, I can certainly afford to pay for the meals I choose to enjoy. To feel humiliated over a single plate of food is unacceptable and very hurtful. This experience ruined what should have been a pleasant trip, and it is truly disappointing. Because of this incident, I would not recommend this place to my friends or to anyone from my country. It is unfortunate that such a simple misunderstanding and lack of respect from the staff resulted in such a negative impression.

I recently spent an unforgettable vacation at The Standard, Maldives, and it truly exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed with warm hospitality and genuine smiles. Resort & Facilities: The resort is stunning — crystal-clear waters, beautiful white-sand beaches, and perfectly designed villas. The overwater villa we stayed in was spacious, clean, and had an amazing view. The private pool and the hammock on the deck made it the perfect spot to relax. Food & Dining: Every meal was impressive. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, and the restaurants offered delicious options with excellent service. The fresh seafood and the themed dinner nights were highlights. Activities: There was always something to do — snorkeling, water sports, spa treatments, and live entertainment in the evening. The snorkeling experience was incredible; we saw colorful fish and even some friendly sharks. Staff: The team at The Standard truly made the trip memorable. Everyone was attentive and friendly, but I want to give special recognition to Youssef, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made a huge difference and made us feel truly cared for. Thank you, Youssef, for making our trip even more special! Overall: This was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. The Standard, Maldives is a perfect destination for relaxation, romance, and adventure. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the Maldives.

Spent 4 nights in this amazing resort to celebrate our 25 Anniversary. Services certainly 5 stars. I stay in ocean water villas. Rooms good size with nice plunging pool, Nice house reef with plenty of fish just from the Villa, nice big Bath tub a pleasant surprise, size bigger than the photos😂 I took full inclusive package and tried all three separate selected restaurants, BBQ shak, Maldivian style & Japanese cooking all at Guruguda restaurant, Fantastic Wagyu beef cheek essentials melted when entering your mouth, the Dragon Roll & soft shell crab tempura tasted really great. Most of the staffs are extremely friendly and sense your needs before you ask.
