We had a wonderful stay at Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa and enjoyed every moment of our five nights there. We stayed in a water villa with direct access to the ocean, which was absolutely amazing. Every evening we could see reef sharks and rays swimming right past our villa. The glass floor in the villa was definitely a highlight. The food was varied and very good, with a lot being freshly prepared at live cooking stations. Every morning I always got my Egg Benedict, and in the evenings my favorite was the pasta prepared by Harshani. Each morning, Thara welcomed me with a smile and surprised me daily with new and delicious crêpes, which was such a lovely start to the day. What truly made our stay exceptionally pleasant was our waiter Shifaz. He always took the time to chat with us, gave us great tips on local food, and somehow always knew exactly what we wanted to drink and when. His warm, attentive hospitality made a big difference, and we will definitely miss him. The spa treatments were excellent. The massages were incredibly relaxing, and it was noticeable that the masseuses are from Bali and highly skilled. We can highly recommend Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa and would love to return one day.

Today is out last day on this little paradise. We have had a wonderful relaxing holiday and some truly amazing experiences and fabulous staff. In particular, thank you to Magic for taking me on my first diving experiencing and then snorkelling with sharks. Wow- amazing and shows your never too old to do something new! I LOVED it!! The girls in the spa- you are amazing and I have never felt so pampered and relaxed. Shafiz- our waiter, so attentive and friendly. Chef who cooked out catch from the big game trip so beautifully.Thank you all for making out holiday so special.

We’ve just returned from an amazing holiday at this lovely resort. We had a sunset villa with some of the most magical sunset views we have ever seen - we stayed for 2 weeks and the villa was spacious and had everything we needed for an extended break. We arrived in time for the NYE Gala Dinner which was absolutely spectacular - the bbq lobster tails were a particular highlight! In general the food was good for a buffet and the live cooking stations were great and provided some variety - the fish bbq on the last night was absolutely incredible! The waiters were all really friendly and smiley - particular mention go to Rumesh, Dhain and Fairooz, all of whom were brilliant. The Crab restaurant was great and we had a lobster dinner gifted by a friend which was incredible - and special mention should go to Mohana and Sameera, the chef and waiter. We went on a number of the diving school snorkels as well as the free ones from the hotel - we particularly enjoyed the nurse shark snorkelling which really is unmissable if you are staying at the resort. We also did the sunset boat cruise and the sunset cocktail parties, both of which were good fun - Lammah and Shakthi were great hosts on the cruise and made sure everyone’s glass was constantly full. The only slight negatives to the resort was the location 1) in terms of the transfer situation from Male - on the way out we had a long wait at the sea ferry terminal and on the way back we had a very early wake up call (4.15am) to ensure we were in Male in time for the flight back to the UK but then had a long wait (over 4 hours) at Male airport; and 2) if you are keen on snorkelling you might also want a resort with its own reef as the free trips are great but only go twice a day, and snorkelling is limited the rest of the time. Overall we would definitely recommend this resort and think it was good value. We had a brilliant time - thank you so much.

Our stay at Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa was defined by incredible service and a dining experience that exceeded all expectations. The food was consistently delicious, but it was the staff who truly made our trip unforgettable. We looked forward to breakfast every single morning, specifically because of Thara and Chinthaka. Thara is a master at the crepe station—her crepes are perfection and her friendly energy is the best way to start a day. Chinthaka provided such high-level, attentive service; his professionalism and genuine care made every meal feel like a special occasion. Thank you to the entire team for the wonderful hospitality. We highly recommend this resort to anyone who appreciates great food and a staff that goes above and beyond!

Together with my husband we spent 11 wonderful days in this resort. We travel a lot but this place is the most relaxing and beautiful we've ever been to. If you are after peace and quiet then the Platinum Island is the best choice in here. Hotel staff is also very friendly and helpful. We'd like to especially recognise Menaka and Nandana from the Vevu bar who were making the best coctails and always made sure our glasses are full. The "employee of the month" award goes to Ayaash. This young, hard working gentleman was taking care of us the whole stay and provided excellent service in the Menzaru restaurant. We were trully impressed with the speed of service, professional approach to his duties and the fact he was always one step ahead and anticipated our needs based on previous orders. Imagine our surprise when we learned this was his second month of work here. To summarise - if you want to get away from crowds and just relax with almost no one around then Platinum Island in this resort is the place for you.
