I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel recently and I must say, Cristina made our experience truly exceptional. Her dedication to guest satisfaction was evident from the moment we arrived. Throughout our stay, Cristina went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to assist with any request made us feel incredibly welcome. The entire staff at the hotel were equally fantastic. They were not only incredibly kind but also incredibly efficient. Every interaction was met with a smile, and their genuine desire to help us out was truly refreshing. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, thanks in large part to Cristina and the rest of the outstanding staff. Their dedication to providing top-notch service made our stay memorable and enjoyable. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you, Cristina, and the entire team for exceeding our expectations and making our stay truly unforgettable. PS; Excellent coffee!!!

I came here for my birthday and could not be happier! I loved everything about this hotel. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it had everything we could possivly want for our stay. The hotel is close to the beach and surrounded by plenty of options for activities, food, and nightlife. The pool and views are unbeatable and the delicious food and drink options made it so easy to spend all day on the rooftop enjoying the beautiful weather. The staff was friendly and attentive especially Lazaro, our waiter at the pool and Javier, the bartender in the downstairs bar. Christina was everywhere making sure we and the other guests were happy and had everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, it was perfect for our needs. I will absolutely be back and would highly recommend the Fives to anyone visiting Playa del Carmen.

The hotel was really nice with amazing rooftop views. Dining at the Lola rooftop restaurant was wonderful and the food was great. The hotel location was perfect for local dining experience and shopping. We enjoyed meeting and chatting with Cristina, the Public Relations Manager. She is very professional, personable and caring. We had a minor issue with our room and she took care of the problem immediately. Enjoyed our time at The Fives Downtown Hotel.

Love this location! This was my first time in Playa Del Carmen and I’ll definitely be back to this hotel and try other locations too. The staff is superb Edgar, Christina, Diana are all so helpful. Although it’s in a busy area the hotel itself is actually pretty quiet and calm so it’s perfect for all ages. I recommended adding breakfast to your stay and getting tacos at one of the local stands. Rooms are clean and entire hotel is pretty.

Everything in the hotel was great! We stayed for 6 days and had a very enjoyable stay. The service was great and the staff were all very kind and helpful! Our friend Cristina was always there to help since the minute we checked in. Jose and Julieta at breakfast were great as well. Lastly Sabrina & Edgar at the pool had amazing service. Just make sure to up semi early in order to get chairs. All the food was delicious from the breakfast downstairs to the pool food and the restaurant Lola. Location was right by all restaurants in downtown playa del Carmen
