Stand out from service perspective was Linh at the Front Office, he was a great ambassador for the Vinpearl resort and always willing to help. Resort was good and staff generally friendly if not overly helpful/focused on service. The website and descriptions matched the experience. Hotel food was mediocre, with bar and room service quality, breadth and prices being under whelming and the resort lacked “atmosphere”, with limited use of restaurants and bars. This is a big missed opportunity for Vinpearl. Management should consider ‘happy hour’ promotions by the main pool and other initiates to encourage guests to use common facilities further. The beach was well maintained and patrolled but again lacked any atmosphere and Vinpearl/Marriott should consider how it could promote local businesses/restaurants/bars to share these.

From check-in to check-out, the overall experience was very pleasant. There were moments when we were unexpectedly wowed with the staff that went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable (i.e. delivering our Covid test documents to the villa, etc.). The villa was clean and the private pool was great for our kids to play in. We received warm greetings from various staff members on the property. Also, we were very impressed with the setup of the BBQ dinner. Criticisms: - There were cigarette butts stuck between the floor panels of the backyard patio and along the plants surrounding the pool. - After the BBQ dinner, the patio floor was left uncleaned until the next day when housekeeping came. - Although I understand the need for guest safety, it would be helpful to have a microwave, especially for families with young children.

I am very satisfied with my stay at Vinpearl resort and spa. All the staff were friendly and tried to provide the best service, and I especially recommend Thanh Do among them. He was very passionate about his work and was very good at speaking Korean. Thanks to Thanh Do, my stay at Vinpearl was even more enjoyable. The main pool was very clean and in good condition. Especially, swimming after sunset was very satisfying. One disappointment was that the private pool was a bit lacking. Some of the tiles were broken and wandered around the pool floor. There were also some floats in the water. If you pay a little more attention to the condition of your private pool, it will be the perfect accommodation.

Overall, I was satisfied. I thought it would be boring to use the buffet all day because it was a full board, but I was very satisfied. However, on the second day when I went to the dinner course, the amount of food was too much because I had too much sheep. Although the main pool is small, I think it is enough to enjoy. The disadvantage is that it is not private because the pool is completely open. Kids club was disappointing because facilities were not varied. It is a good place to play for a while. However the staff in the kids club were very kind.

Great for families. We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa for 3 nights. Long breakfast duration 6.30-10.30am so no rush. Large selection of local and western food. Book Vinwonders amusement park for 10% discount and free shuttle service to and fro the park. Vi at reception was so nice and accommodating, arrange an hour late checkout for us to meet our flight departure timing. David at the kids club took care of our 10 year old the whole day while we were out shopping. He even accompanied him to the restaurant for lunch. Kids club (it is free) allows >10 years old children to be left alone. They have activities throughout the day to keep them busy and a PS4 (minimal games). Resort is NOT in the city however, easily get anywhere with Grab. 11km one way to Han Market for 156000 VND. The whole resort is huge and serviced by buggies which arrived very quick when you call. The pool overlooks the beach and there are no water sports (para sailing, banana boat etc). The beach is clean and nice to have evening walks/swim. They have a dedicated building for spa and sauna which is also free.
