Our experience was probably tainted by the worst check in ever with a teenager spitting on us from a balcony above the reception desk. Staff were apologetic but could of been more proactive. I pointed out the likely culprit when he blatantly walked through reception staring at us but nothing was done.
Overall and trying to put that experience to one side, this hotel is looking very tired and some areas even looking a little shabby, particularly the rooftop adults only area.
Even though the rooftop pool is supposed to be adults only there were several occasions of children coming to the facility with parents and none of the staff seemed to challenge.
Much of the spa facilities were not operational during our visits which was disappointing as it’s a very nice spa.
Value for money in poolside restaurant very low. You would expect a 5 star hotel in Ibiza to be expensive. However, 25 Euros for a brioche roll with no salad or any dressing is just extortionate.
If your looking for a top class 5 star hotel in Ibiza this is not it. Nice hotel in good location with hard working staff - that’s the best I could say.

Aguas de Ibiza has the best rooftop, view and Spa! Staff is so lovely and caring and I am definitely recommending a dinner on their rooftop after a SPA day! Truly grateful for being able to enjoy the Spa facilities, tea, raw nuts and fruits! Always will be back! 5* is 5* after all!

Great looking hotel in a fabulous location. The problem with this hotel is the service from the staff. Only one of the staff in the whole hotel had a smile on her face. At check in the receptionist kept a phone to her ear and had a conversation with someone during most of the process. The first breakfast experience was poor with the ordered breakfast taking 30 minutes to arrive. No hot water in the tea pots and a very average selection. The second breakfast experience was the most shocking I have received at a hotel. I was reprimanded by the receptionist for daring to ask to sit outside. She insisted I was only allowed to sit inside as I was attending a conference. She insisted I didn’t move until she found a manager to tell me the same. After complaints to the guest relations manager the breakfast receptionist finally broke a smile after 5 days. The conference meal at the hotel was a disaster. The hotel failed to provide food for anyone with allergies. In fact the waiter gave an attendee with a nut allergy a plate of nuts. The horrendous food took 4 hours to serve. Total chaos. During the day, the emergency exit for the roof conference area remained locked for at least 2 hours every morning. This never changed despite numerous complaints. Totally unsafe! The rooms were so poorly lit that it was impossible to see the controls for the room automation. Normal switches would be so much better. At checkout, the courtesy room which was booked was not available at the agreed time meaning we had to shower in the spa with no security for belongings. This hotel is a complete disaster from beginning to end. I would never return!

I recently stayed at Aguas de Ibiza for an event, and it was hands down the worst service I have ever experienced at a 5-star hotel.
Positives:
The rooftop is very nice.
The breakfast is good.
The peruvian restaurant, food is good
Negatives:
Extremely Slow Service: It took 45 minutes to get a coffee. The waiters were rude and seemed annoyed when we called them over, acting as if we were bothering them just by asking for a coffee.
Disorganized: Food was served at different times, which was very frustrating. - not used to groups at all - 4h for a group dinner, waited 1h for first dish
Luggage Issues: Upon arrival, my luggage was brought to a different room.
Technical Issues: I had a nightmare with the curtains in my room. They had a complex tech system that was faulty. Whenever I tried to close the curtains, all the lights would turn on. When I turned off the lights, the curtains would randomly open. There was no way to have a dark room and sleep.
Lack of Response: I reported the issue with the curtains at midnight, but no solution was provided. I told them three times the next day, and still, nothing was fixed. On my last day, I had to change rooms at 1 am, which was incredibly inconvenient.
Poor Attitude: The staff seemed not to care and took things personally, making excuses instead of addressing the issues.
Overall, my experience at Aguas de Ibiza was very dissatisfying.
The beautiful rooftop and good breakfast couldn't make up for the abysmal service and technical problems that ruined my stay.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax and enjoy their time in Ibiza.

Worst “five star” hotel I’ve ever been to, and for the price, probably the worst hotel I’ve ever been to.
Rooms feel run down. No USB outlets in the rooms. King beds are two twin mattresses that separate and wake you up while you’re sleeping. Tiny ants on you when you wake up. Water dripping on the floor from the ceiling. AC won’t go below 21.5C. Housekeeping doesn’t come when you ask them to come.
Totally inexcusable for a $700/night, four-star hotel.
