I wasn’t planning to write this review, but after speaking with my therapist and close friends, I felt I needed to be a voice for many women who might be too afraid to speak up just like I was at the beginning. About a month ago, I booked this hotel to celebrate my birthday and the end of summer. my first trip to Ibiza. After a 15-hour flight, I scheduled a deep tissue massage at the hotel’s spa. I won’t go into details because the hotel staff knows exactly what happened. To put it simply and truthfully: what occurred was sexual assault. The massage I received was not what I requested or expected, and it should never have happened. I. found out that the masseuse didn’t even have a professional license. I was left feeling sad, angry, and afraid. When I reported the incident to upper management, I was assured that I would receive full support. Unfortunately, that support never came. My emails went unanswered, and the follow up calls they promised were never made. As a woman alone in a foreign country, I didn’t go to the local authorities. I didn’t know the people, the system, or the law. I trusted the hotel to take responsibility for the actions of one of their employees. Instead, they disappeared after the initial contact and acted as if it wasn’t their concern. I could share more, but my purpose in writing this isn’t to attack the hotel…that would only waste more of my time. My purpose is to warn other women, especially those traveling alone, to be cautious about where you stay. Do your research, ask questions, and if something feels wrong, don’t be afraid to speak up. This hotel does not live up to the values it claims to represent, and I sincerely hope no one else has to experience what I did. The trauma left behind is inexplicable. And I say “they,” because not only was the masseuse responsible the hotel was too.

We’ve just stayed at Oku Ibiza for the second time, and we couldn’t be happier! From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely welcome. The whole team is incredibly friendly and always smiling – whether it’s at breakfast, the buffet, reception, housekeeping, or by the pool. You can really tell everyone enjoys what they do. The rooms are spotless, cleaned regularly, and there’s always fresh water waiting for you. And the food – just amazing! We were super happy with every single meal, every day. Everything tastes fresh and high-quality, and you can tell the whole concept is well thought through from start to finish. There’s a special kind of comfort and good energy here that keeps us coming back year after year. We’re already counting down the days until we can return to our happy place – Oku Ibiza! 🌞

We were unfortunately very disappointed with our stay at Oku Ibiza. We have stayed in countless 5-star hotels around the world, and sadly this property does not meet that standard at all. The room itself was acceptable, but the balcony felt stark and uninviting, more like a prison cell than a luxury retreat. The service was especially disappointing. Our food orders were forgotten several times, and when we arrived, I clearly explained my food allergies and requested a simple meal of cooked carrots and zucchini for the evening. They refused to provide it, leaving me without anything to eat for the entire night. Since nothing else was open nearby that could accommodate my dietary needs, this was extremely distressing. I repeated my request multiple times, explaining that I simply needed something basic so I could eat and sleep comfortably, but they still declined and offered no alternative solution. For a hotel that positions itself as 5-star, this level of service and lack of care is unacceptable. Also the daily room cleaning was very disappointing, the room was not properly cleaned since we found food bits and pieces in the corners. Also when ordering room services we called them to remove the food from the room placing it outside which took them several hours to collect. There were some employees that definitely did a good job but overal the property can not be caled 5 star hotel. Would not recommend if you expect 5 star service since you also pay for it.

OKU Ibiza was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and stylish. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and had that perfect luxury-meets-boho vibe. The breakfast spread was unreal, with so many fresh and delicious options every morning. The pool area is stunning, with great music and a relaxed but lively atmosphere. Every detail felt carefully thought out, and the staff made sure we were well taken care of. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun, and honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had

An unforgettable stay at Oku Ibiza! From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and welcoming. The staff are exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel special. The whole atmosphere is calm, elegant, and beautifully curated. The rooms are stunning — spacious, tastefully designed, and filled with natural textures that create a sense of relaxed luxury. Every detail, from the lighting to the linens, is perfectly considered. The breakfast buffet is extraordinary — a feast of fresh fruits, artisanal pastries, local cheeses, smoothie bowls, and made-to-order dishes. It’s easily one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. The amenities are equally impressive, from the tranquil pool area to the superb gym featuring designer wooden and leather equipment that makes working out a genuine pleasure. A special mention goes to the Asian restaurant, which is exceptional and has my favorite toro (tuna belly) and black caviar. The food is vibrant, refined, and beautifully presented — easily one of the culinary highlights of the island. Oku Ibiza perfectly blends sophistication, comfort, and authenticity. Every moment feels effortless yet elevated. It’s more than just a hotel — it’s an experience I can’t wait to repeat.
