This was the best vacation we ever had. The resort was top-notch. Rooms were clean, and hospitality was amazing. All the food from the restaurants and room service was authentically fresh and tasted amazing. Nightly shows were great as well. Plenty to do in the resort, between the beach, pools, activities, restaurants, bars, lounges, etc.
Will definitely be back soon!!!

This trip began on a negative note due to the poor service and lack of hospitality. Upon arrival, the check-in process took over 3 hours with zero explanation as to the delay. This was odd considering our reservations were confirmed and paid for prior to arrival. We were with a large wedding party and eventually got checked in when the bride had to personally arrange our check in with staff.
Once we got to checked in, we were told our reserved room was unavailable and given a room with 2 double beds but could get a room change the next day. The next day we had to go to Guest services and Public relations to activate our anniversary package, receive our spa credit and confirm our room change. This process took about 2 hours with only one staff person apologizing for the inconvenience. When it was time for the room to be changed we had to call the front desk several times (no answer) and then get back in line and go back to public relations. This process took another 5 hours total and our luggage was not moved from the old room to the new room. There was so much run around that I spent the first 2 days of the trip dealing with a lot of different staff members making promises that were not kept.
Given the price point of this resort, this service is unacceptable. I could never recommend this resort and would be wary to try any of their other locations. Overall, what should have been a relaxing destination wedding trip was stressful, aggravating and a waste of money. Cannot stress enough how much this resort is not worth the money. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Rooms are not the size that you expect from a single room for two. Example, the honeymoon suite was no suite. Just because you roll up a towel in a heart shape with rose pedels doesn't mean it's a honeymoon suite. To get your bang for the buck, you definitely have to upgrade. Water sports are not part of the resort. They are provided by the locals. Beware of boat rides from these locals to restaurants off the resort. They will leave you stranded with no way back to your resort. You'll end up negotiating a way back to your resort from another boat local for cash. Regarding the resort, hospitality is good. The resort does try to sell you on packages, which can be annoying if you just want to go there and relax. Yes, I did buy a small package that I didn't want to be locked in, like some time-share you can't get out of. (Jamaica is not the only location. The company has other locations around the world ) Moon Palace has a decent gym, children play in the pool all day, and there is plenty of food at the buffet and main restaurants.

I love Moon Palace resorts. My sister and I fully enjoyed the Jamaica resort. The food was amazing. The staff is the best.
Spa treatments were top tier.
Water Aerobics every day at noon, Johnoy, makes it so fun.
Laying by the pools is so relaxing.
Can't wait to go back.

This is an excellent resort in a great location. The bay ensures the sea is calm, allowing you to enjoy the clear blue waters and white sands, which the resort maintains meticulously. The restaurants serve high-quality food, with ingredients that surpass those of many other all-inclusive resorts we've visited, truly offering a fine dining experience. The pools are well-positioned and spacious, with plenty of nearby food and drink options. Most of the staff are friendly (with some exceptions, mentioned below) and provide good service without expecting tips. The rooms are reasonably sized (despite some reviews claiming they are small) and are kept clean with regular housekeeping. Overall, we had a wonderful time. However, there are a few drawbacks to note:
1) The check-in/front desk staff were rude and inefficient. The check-in process took nearly an hour due to long queues, and they were unwilling to accommodate the requests we made at booking, even though we booked almost six months in advance. We asked for king-bed rooms next to each other, but they refused, citing the hotel was full. After much effort and involving the customer relations manager, we were finally given king-bed rooms, but not side by side, although thankfully on the same floor. We also mentioned a birthday celebration in our booking, but this was completely ignored.
2) There are a few clubs or discotheques within a few hundred feet of the resort that play loud music until 3 AM every day of the week. The room doors and windows do not effectively block out the noise, so light sleepers should be prepared for a late-night disturbance.
3) The buffet restaurant has an odd and inefficient system for assigning servers to tables. As a result, we were often left unattended for several meals, with no one to serve water, drinks, or even provide cutlery.
4) The resort is quite far from MBJ airport, and the hotel's transportation unnecessarily stops at a restaurant along the way, making the journey about 2.5 hours long. This significantly cuts into your time at the resort, effectively reducing your stay by a full day.
