This hotel is perfect for a quiet, relaxing break. The staff are incredibly attentive. They quickly learn what you like to drink and where you like to lounge. The food in all three restaurants is of a high standard. There is a good choice of meat and fish and they will happily accommodate personal requests. The beaches are beautiful, as is the water. We particularly loved the floating rings which are perfect for staying cool on. There were always plenty of sun loungers. Evening entertainment is varied and fun. King Bob the fire eater and the reggae band were our particular favourites. We visited Dunn's River resort and their rum bar. Would definitely recommend. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. A large walk in wardrobe and double sink so you can spread out and beautiful sea views. The shower/bath is the only dated part of the hotel but this will in no way spoil your stay here.
We would highly recommend this hotel. Omar and his team are an excellent representative for Sandals Hotels.

Where to begin with leaving a review for this outstanding hotel? From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The food and drinks were fabulous, and the hotel staff were simply exceptional. The rooms were beautiful, perfect attention to detail throughout the whole hotel, and the butler service was an incredible treat for us.
Not only was this a holiday, but it was also our secret wedding, and we couldn't have picked a better place to tie the knot. A big thank you to the wedding team who made the whole process so easy and for making us feel like a million dollars. I couldn't find fault with anything about this hotel, except for the heartache of having to leave... prepare for genuine tears.

Sandals Royal Plantation is so peaceful. My wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here. It was the best vacation ever. The staff there are amazing. We had the best Butlers. Chase and Neil were top tier. They made sure all of our needs were met. This was our second Sandals experience. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing Sandals this is the best one. 74 rooms with all Butler service is perfect. If you want to party you can go right next door to Sandals Ocho Rios. You get the best of both worlds at Royal Plantation. Thank you to the staff there. You really treated us like family and took care of our every need. We definitely will be back.

It's been couple years since we last visited Sandals Royal Plantation and I can confirm everything is as wonderful as our last trip. We received a warm welcome from general manager Omar when we arrived and have to say he is very active every day and seen throughout the resort checking on the guests well being and always with a friendly chat and smile (including the beach when offering non alcoholic shots). We really enjoyed the time we had each day when we saw each other. It's good to see someone this interested in the guests and leading the staff by example. My wife and I can't say enough about the amazing staff. All are warm and friendly and when they say welcome home, they make you feel like you have come home. We love the beautiful property and the fact it's a small hotel and very laid back. If you're looking to relax in luxury this is the place. All rooms include butler service and we can't say enough about our butlers this year Gladstone and Sherril and were happy to see our butlers from our last trip Jovhan and Andre. I could make a list of all the wonderful staff from housekeeping, restaurant services and beach staff and butlers and wouldn't have room to include them all but they're always so warm and friendly. It didn't matter who we were in contact with each day, we were made to feel really welcomed and is what makes the hotel so amazing. It's the people. A gorgeous property, good food and drink and amazing people. Their send off to us was very touching and can't wait to rebook for next year.

This property allowed us to reset, relax and find peace in taking it slow and unwind. Nestle in this beautiful gem is team of wonderful staff from management right down you were very pleasant and warm and took care of us effortlessly. We will definitely return. Thank you Sandals Royal Plantation!
