While every aspect of our stay was remarkable, it was the warmth and professionalism of your entire team that made our anniversary celebration truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine care by your front desk team—Safiyalee, Jonoi, and LuckieAnn—who set the tone for our entire visit. The attentive service continued throughout our stay, particularly at the Terrace restaurant, where Vanyam, StayAnn, and Shrika made our meal a pleasure. We owe special thanks to our personal butlers, Marvin and Bebeato, who went above and beyond to ensure our anniversary celebration exceeded our expectations. The candlelight dinner at the pier, expertly served by Lashanna, stands out as one of the most romantic and memorable moments of our trip. We also want to recognize Shana Kay, Trecia, and Doneil for their consistent willingness to assist us with every need, always with a smile and genuine enthusiasm. The professionalism displayed by your entire team clearly reflects the outstanding leadership of Marvin Boyd and Omar Robinson. Despite their busy schedules managing the property, both took the time to personally ensure our happiness and satisfaction—a gesture we deeply appreciated. We stayed for the first time in January 2026. It’s an 5 star, all inclusive, butler service resort. All rooms are suites. It’s a small adults only quiet resort. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, staff are very attentive and you want for nothing. It is very quiet in the evening which we like, you can use the bus service to go to the larger resort if you want more nightlife or restaurants. Highly recommended if you like to be pampered and like peace and quiet. If you like to party probably not for you.

If you're looking for top-tier service and a tranquil getaway, this is the place for you. We had an amazing stay at Royal Plantation's boutique style hotel. The service was phenomenal and the staff at this resort went over and beyond to ensure everything was perfect during our stay. You feel like family when you stay here. We stayed here for our anniversary and they really made us feel special. We have stayed here several times and continue to come back. The food here is delicious with plenty of options, and the setting was romantic, peaceful, and relaxing. Also, if you have any food allergies or dietary needs they cater to your needs and request. Onsite they have tennis, pickleball, snorkel trips, glass bottom boat rides, kayaks, Hobi cat catamaran you can use or have someone take you out on one. Special thanks to the staff members from Neil and Chase our butlers, to Tiffany, Garth, Camille, Rhona, and others in the Spa. Also, the amazing waitstaff at all the restaurants and special shout out to Sherika, Vanya, Stefanie, and many others. Thanks to David and other chefs for spicing things up for my husbands morning breakfast meals. He enjoys the spicy food. Then Garnet and Junior in the Wobbly peacock there to make the perfect drinks for all. Special thanks To the entertainment group, housekeepers, the grounds keepers, management, travel and loyalty, gift shop staff and more. Also, thank you to Omar and Marvin for the amazing staff here. Perfect trip from travel from airport OCJ to check-in process all the way through to check out and travel to MBJ. Highly recommend this resort.

We returned last Thursday from our first trip to Jamaica and our first Sandals visit — at Sandals Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios — and it was truly the best resort experience we’ve ever had. And I mean ever. This is a quieter, intimate resort with only about 75 rooms. It’s not a party place — and that’s exactly why we loved it. The vibe is relaxed, personal, and elevated. Evenings offered great entertainment without ever feeling loud or chaotic. If you’re looking for more nightlife, Sandals Ochi next door brings the energy. The speakeasy there, The Rabbit Hole, is a must — we saw Lady Cher perform, and she is incredibly talented. If you’re a big pool person, this may not be the perfect fit unless you’re comfortable heading next door to use the larger pools. Royal Plantation is more about the beach, the butler service, and the peaceful atmosphere. The food was outstanding — the coconut lobster was out of this world… and the lamb? Phenomenal. What truly sets this resort apart is the warm atmosphere, the attention to every little detail, and the phenomenal service — you don’t just feel like a guest… you feel at home. That culture starts at the top. Omar, the resort manager, leads in a way you can feel. He knows guests by name, checks in often, and sets a tone of pride and excellence that carries throughout the property. Our butlers, Sherril and Gladstone, were exceptional. From fresh coconut and lobster lunches on the beach to running out for authentic jerk chicken — the attention to detail was next level. And the excellence didn’t stop there: Junior at the Wobbly Peacock — always welcoming and incredibly patient. Daniello on the beach — attentive and genuinely friendly. Stefnie at breakfast — the perfect way to start every morning. Tresell — outstanding service and a fantastic sense of humor. Romain (aka “Fresh Prince”) — personality and professionalism combined… and yes, shoulder massages if you ask nicely. Giovani — amazing every time he served us. Anthony — had me rolling with his sense of humor (and the random meowing!). The piano player at the French restaurant — just wow. Winston, our airport driver — we learned so much from him. Wonderful to talk to and extremely professional. Omar, the shuttle driver — hilarious. I could have sat on that shuttle all day. Sequoia — lovely to talk to, extremely knowledgeable, and absolutely stunning on Valentine’s Day. No one was ever pushy. The service felt genuine. The atmosphere felt intentional. That’s why people return year after year — and now we completely understand why. After the hurricane hit the island months ago, the resilience and pride of the Jamaican people were deeply humbling. You can see the rebuilding, but what you feel is warmth and gratitude everywhere. If you want peace, exceptional service, and a truly personal experience — this is it. We will absolutely be back. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the entire team was genuinely invested in ensuring we had the most relaxing vacation possible in this tropical paradise. A few specific people made our stay truly unforgettable: * Omar (General Manager): We were blown away by how present Omar is. He seemed to be everywhere, greeting us by name and making us feel more like family than just guests. His leadership clearly sets the tone for the resort’s warm atmosphere. * Gladstone and Sheril (Butlers): These two are absolute professionals. They went above and beyond to anticipate and meet every single one of our needs, allowing us to truly let go of any stress. * Sequoia (Sales): Sequoia is hands-down the friendliest person we met. She made planning our next visits feel effortless and exciting—we already can’t wait to come back. * Kimmy (Bartender): A huge shoutout to Kimmy, who crafted the best Old Fashioneds we’ve ever had! If you are looking for a place where you are treated with genuine care and luxury, this is it. We left feeling completely rejuvenated.
