My husband and I (Mr & Mrs Brown) truly enjoyed our overdue honeymoon at this lovely resort. The quality of service was superb. The hotel manager Omar was hands on and greeted us daily (multiple times) to see how we were doing. Our wonderful butlers Orayne & Safitya were on top of their game arranging everything from our in town shopping excursion, dinners and spa treatment and whatever else we needed from drinks by the pool to daily in room snacks. Housekeeping was also on top of it as well. The restaurant staff impeccable and remembered what drinks we enjoyed. Our room was as lovely as the view. We were welcomed when we arrived at the front entrance and when we departed they said goodbye and were happy that we enjoyed our stay. Food was good. Old world Ambience and the atmosphere is welcoming. And the staff was top notch. We will return!❤️

Hey, we gotta tell you about the Sandals Royal Plantation in Jamaica. From the moment you arrive, you're treated like gold—everyone's so respectful and welcoming. They really go the extra mile to make your vacation amazing. We went in late January 2025, and it helped us get over losing our pup Magnum in late Dec 2024. The manager, Omar, is incredible; he knows your name the whole time you're there! This was our first time with a butler at Sandals, and wow, what a treat! Marvin and Bebeato were our butlers, and they took care of everything. Breakfast, lunch, drinks, dinner reservations—they were on top of it the entire time. Seriously, you have to try the Royal Plantation; and it's all butler service. Heads up, it's on a hillside with lots of stairs, so watch your step. It's smaller and more relaxed, which means the staff can really focus on you. The pool's smaller, too, so no crazy pool parties—just peaceful paradise vibes. The beaches are stunning and quiet with plenty of areas to relax in. The food service and restaurants are all incredibly delicious. We highly recommend visiting Jamaica and the Royal Plantation (Omar, Bebeato & Marvin).

This was our first Sandals experience and it didn’t disappoint. We visited two nearby sister properties but didn’t return, for us Royal Plantation was far superior. One of its charms is its size with only 75 rooms, creating a friendly personal environment. The butler service from Richard and Dwainey was just right, attentive without being intrusive. The manager provided great leadership, was visible amongst guests and addressed them all by name. The food was a high standard, although for a 2 week stay a bit more variety on the menus would have been welcome. The two beaches were immaculate and service was readily available when required. The only thing that slightly marred the experience was the issue of tipping. It clearly states on promotional material that tips and service charge are included in the price paid. We were therefore surprised on arrival to learn that we could now tip butlers. This does create an expectation on both parties. Our issue was what was a reasonable gratuity without being too low, causing offence, or too excessive. This is maybe a cultural issue but the position is definitely confusing However we had a super time and would definitely consider returning to Royal Plantation

Sandals Royal Plantation was a great stay. Anthony and Robert took most excellent care of us while we were there this past April. Much more quiet and calmer than the other nearby Sandals resorts. Yet we still had full access to the many reasturants and clubs at the other resorts. The Rabbit Hole was great. Had to take the shuttle from RP and once there, we would never have found it without the staff leading the way. It's a "speak easy" so you need the password! Beaches and pool side at RP were so relaxing. Also took advantage of the golf resort. Supurb course, (though the greens are TINY). Caddy Fitzroy was the best. Great club selections and kept the pace of play moving.

I'm giving 4 stars for the room only because the beds are not comfy, but other than that EVERYONE and EVERYTHING else was EXCELLENT!! Our butler Carlos is always helpful with anything we need! He's always willing to do anything to make your stay perfect! Nathan who would deliver our room serve is a gem! He is very accommodation, respectful, kind, friendly, I could go on and on! Shawna-Kaye from the excursions is so helpful and is also willing to do anything to make our trips unforgettable! The ladies in the spa are really great too! Diana did both of my massages and my nails, she is so good at what she does! ALL of the serving staff for the dinners are excellent as well, the dinner entertainment was great too. And I can't forget our buss driver Ziggy HE IS FUNNY AND FUN LOVING! He made the trips in between the resorts so much fun!!! This was our seconds stay and we will be back!!
