I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel but it was a terrible experience. I will never stay there again. Firstly, we booked and paid for breakfast for 3 people, but when we went to the restaurant one of the staff told us that we had not paid for breakfast, even though she hadn’t checked the details exactly. And we paid again for it. Ended up we asked receptionist and they paid back it,but they didn’t apologize for that for us. Secondly, the room service was awful. They used the bath towel as a foot mat. It was shocking. That means it is possible that we used bath towels that was before another customer used as a foot mat, even if it was washed I felt really uncomfortable. Thirdly, The clock in the room was 11 minutes slow and necessary amenities were not in our room. We stayed in this hotel for 3 people and all the amenities were only 2 pieces even after they cleaned the room although we’ve paid money for 3 people. The pillow cover smelled awful. It was like sweat. Again,we will never stay this hotel. I can’t understand why this hotel is 4 stars. Honestly I would like to write more things but it doesn’t mean so I don’t do that however I feel so so bad.

Stayed at the voco orchard for a week and had a wonderful time. The room was really nice. The breakfast in the lobby downstairs had a great selection and the staff was extremely friendly. I also frequented the lounge up stairs and the staff was the best up there. Rovi served us many times and always took very good care of my group. Would definitely stay here again if I get another chance to return to Singapore.

I like how spacious the room is and there are signs that the rooms were recently renovated, so everything looked tip top and pretty new. I had a room that overlooked the main Orchard Road. The facade of the building which the horizontal pillars kinda obstructed the full view which was pretty good as it meant I can draw up the curtains allowing full sunlight into the room while maintaining some privacy. Having a bathtub is also a plus point as not many hotels offer this in their normal rooms. I didn't use the other facilities within the hotel so I can't comment much on them. Last but not least, the location is also along the quieter side of Orchard Road. Still within the happenings but not overly crowded or noisy.

Mixed experience, but not worth the price. The hotel has definitely seen better days, with the bathrooms in particular being very old. Reception staff not unfriendly, but in no way outgoing. Arrived after a 13 hour trip, they didn’t ask how I was or how the trip went. They didn’t recommend any experiences during my six night stay. When I checked out, they didn’t ask whether I enjoyed my stay. Efficient sure, but very impersonal. When I checked into my first room, the bathroom was old and had mould. I was quickly moved rooms which was prompt (nice assistant manager) but the new bathroom (in a “recently refurbished” room) wasn’t any better - see images. They asked whether the room was better and I said it would be fine (was so tired and wasn’t worth more hassle late at night). Room service was great and fast, nice food. Roof top Italian restaurant very tired, with slow service and very small menu. Downstairs there’s two restaurants, but they didn’t make that clear to me when I went in, so I was seated at the wrong one and missed out on the one I wanted (so just be careful of which one you sit in). The front one had slow service and the pizza wasn’t great given the price (small and rock hard). Room housekeeping great - especially daily towel changes. The roof pool area very tired, but quiet which is a great bonus. Had it to myself most of the time - just didn’t like that it closed at 9pm! No spa, which for the price you’d expect. Hotel lobby lounge is more a dark bar, which for the price was disappointing. I’d walk 5 minutes up the road to the Shangri-La, which was fantastic food and service. A much more modern and classy vibe. Overall, the main room area was comfortable, the bathroom was terrible, and the customer service lacking in conversation. Loved my time in Singapore, but wouldn’t stay here again!

We stayed at the voco hotel for three nights and have been so impressed with the location, the facilities but especially the service. It has been outstanding. Everyone has been so accommodating and friendly. We opted for club access and am so glad we did. Again the service was exceptional with Kenny and Ali looking after us very well. Even providing gluten free high tea and canapés.
