A refurbished hotel for sure. The rooms were just fine. Nothing special really. The breakfast was great if not a little pricey. Room service was fast, efficient, and expensive but that comes with the territory. The staff is beyond outstanding. At every turn they were helpful, courteous, and right where the needed to be. I had a special request for a room and the were able to accommodate on my second night. They even moved my luggage. Very helpful. I'm what you would call a professional traveler and if I say something was good that is high praise for sure. I'd stay here again and since I have some contracts in the works, it is highly likely that I will.

I held my wedding reception here. It went amazingly well. Both the deluxe room and Bridal Suite were fantastic. Service was perfect during our stay and during the wedding reception as well. My wife and I will always be grateful to have been assisted by the Catering Sales Manager, Sunshine Garcia, throughout the whole planning process. Our sincere appreciation to Alvin who was our banquet manager and Dan who assisted us with the Audio Visual responsibilities.

I expected to feel like I was in a 5-star hotel — but sadly, it didn’t come across that way. The overall aesthetic was updated and had a laid-back, neutral colour scheme with a pop of colour, but it still lacked the elevated atmosphere I would associate with a luxury hotel. The 69m² suite was spacious, and I liked the size of the bathroom. However, the space lacked cohesiveness in its style and décor. I expected a “wow” moment, but instead it felt 🥱 uninspiring, and I was honestly let down. The wedding event setup was a disappointment. The artificial floral arrangements did not reflect a 5-star standard — the colours and styles were mismatched and felt uncoordinated. There was clear visual discord between the décor outside the ballroom, inside the ballroom, and on the stage. The mood shifted from bright, to demure, to English-rose country, and nothing tied together cohesively. The theme also did not harmonise with the couple’s look, and the battery-operated candles created an unintended funeral-like ambience rather than romance. Even if the décor came from an external vendor, I would still expect a 5-star hotel to advise, curate, or enforce basic aesthetic quality control. The food was ordinary — acceptable and typical of a standard wedding banquet, but not memorable. For a venue rated as 5-stars, I expected more refinement in both presentation and taste. I could have had something similar at other Chinese restaurants for a lower package price. However, I do have to say the ingredients were fresh 👍🏼👍🏼.

We had our wedding at voco Orchard, the team is helpful special thanks to Ashok & Sunshine Garcia and the team (especially the staff which helping us for the tea ceremony and VIP table) And our guests were so impressed with the quality of the food. We also stayed in one of the suites, which was spacious, clean. Everything went so smoothly the coordination, the setup, the food, and the service. Highly recommended for anyone planning a wedding or special celebration

I just had my wedding at voco 2 days ago and it was the best decision I ever made. The place was good and flexible, the staff was super helpful. The event manager, sherlyn was super thoughtful and helpful that she assisted from the start to the very end. The event manager, Alvin, he was prompt and efficient. Without him, we would have probably been in trouble and we are so thankful that he was so good and efficient.
