Before deciding on Voco Orchard Singapore, I compared around seven to eight hotels, considering location, price, breakfast, pool, and whether our child could stay in the room without extra cost. We originally booked InterContinental Singapore (way back in July) but without any prior notice, I discovered on their website that the hotel was closing on January 1st and transitioning into a Marriott property. As a result, we had to change hotels, and IHG allowed us to move the booking to another property. Among the alternatives, we chose Voco Orchard Singapore, partly because I had previously stayed at a Voco hotel in Dubai and had a good experience with the brand. The hotel itself is quite large, although the reception waiting area is surprisingly small, with very limited seating. The room worked well for us as a family. The oversized, comfortable bed was more than sufficient for three people, and the 32 sqm room felt comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and the staff there were excellent — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The rooftop pool was fine, and our daughter really enjoyed it. Bathroom with bathtub was slightly outdated but at the end worked ok for us. Voco feels slightly more budget oriented compared to InterContinental, which is noticeable if you are familiar with both brands. The Orchard Road location is excellent if shopping and central access are important, but if you prefer a quieter area away from busy shopping streets, this may not be the best choice. My only real disappointment was that IHG did not offer any goodwill gesture, perk, or discount, despite the fact that the hotel change was caused by an ownership change at InterContinental that was not communicated in advance. This part of the experience felt unprofessional. Overall, a solid family friendly stay with very good breakfast and staff, but the handling of the hotel change could have been much better.

Held my big day here. Food is very yummy, view at level 24 panorama room is beautiful. Shout out to xin hui and sunshine for managing my big day so perfectly. Everything went on very smoothly. Recommended for those who still considering to host your wedding here. For hotel room wise, room is very clean, breakfast variety is wide, staff is very attentive to guest request too.

We stayed at voco Orchard on a stop over stay for 4 nights. It is a beautiful hotel located right in the centre of Orchard, very convenient access to everything including the MRT. We had breakfast there which has a considerable assortment of food item, both eastern and western. The only downside if I may is that it didn't change much over the 4 days. It woul have been great if there was a bit more variety at least every couple of days. We were very happy with the service and the staff, who were very friendly. The restaurant staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. We'd like to especially appreciate Beb Tin from the restaurant staff who went out of her way to serve us every morning she worked. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooms are quite good even though they are not overly spacious. Overall we had a very pleasant stay thanks to a wonderful hotel and staff.

Nilar provided exceptional service during our wedding dinner tonight. She was professional, attentive, and always smiling. No matter how many times we requested, she served us patiently without any sign of frustration. I have attended many wedding dinners before, but the service tonight was truly on another level. Nilar’s attitude and dedication made our special day even more memorable. A well-deserved 5-star review for her excellent service.

We attended a wedding at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious—fancy, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The chef was especially friendly and warm, which made the experience even more special. Our hotel stay was delightful as well. I loved the in-room coffee—enjoying it in the morning with the complimentary crackers was such a lovely touch. Every staff member, from the concierge and receptionist to the banquet waitresses, was warm, welcoming, and attentive. I will definitely be coming back for a staycation. Highly recommended!
