I’ve been staying at Orchard Hotel since 2011, and I keep coming back — now with two kids, it feels even more convenient and comforting. What I truly love is the hospitality — from the moment you step into the lobby until the thoughtful cleaning service. Special thanks to Tom, who kept our room spotless, neat, and always with a kind smile. It’s the little details that make a stay feel like home. The location is unbeatable — walking distance to almost everything you need around Orchard, and just a short stroll to the park, which is perfect when traveling with children. And the breakfast… hands down the best. I honestly had the best nasi lemak I’ve ever tried here. Thank you for always making our stay memorable. We will definitely come back. 🤍

Love the hotel! It was a very nice stay for me and my family. My kids had a great time here. Thank you to sugan for cleaning our rooms. It was very thorough and super clean ! 😁 Shall stay here again next time!

Hotel is well positioned with adjoining shopping mall which has a good supermarket. Paid extra for a Signature Room which was nice and was well serviced. Service at Breakfast was terrible with long queues experienced every morning of our five night visit. Food for breakfast was plentiful.But due to the amount of people to be served it was chaotic to move around. Not sure what the hotel can do to improve this experience, but it needs to be fixed. Service on check out was nothing short of awful. One poor receptionist trying her hardest to service 4 people checking in. 6 people including us waiting to check out. Nobody around to ask for another person to help the receptionist. Finally, another (very unhappy) receptionist arrived. Never acknowledged that people had been waiting for a while to be served, no apologies given, no eye contact with people waiting. Very Very Bad Customer Experience. Happy to provide date and time this happened

The breakfast was awesome with options for every palate! The aesthics in the lobby was beautiful. Housekeeping by Naveen was top tier. He was so attentive, informative and resourceful with ensuring our concerns were addressed. He was just a 10/10. Now for areas of improvement: we had twin beds, but we were expecting full sized beds. We were told that was the normal size bed when requesting separate beds. The TV streaming was horrible. I watched HBO and Discovery channels and I could never follow the plot because the picture would freeze for 45 seconds sometimes and you would miss the whole plot. They tried to fix it, but it was that way our 8 nights. The AC seemed like it was turned off at nights, as we would get hot-probably motion sensor, as it was cold during the days. They said they fixed it, but it got hot at nights again. Overall, the hotel is beautiful with a great location for shopping and eating with everything in walking distance.

Apparently this is a 5 star hotel? Barely any seating in the lobby, this is no joke, absolutely shameful. Having to sit near the lift and having people roll their luggage over your feet… The restaurant on the ground floor is basic, food was ok, horrible layout but acceptable. The service was average. Having walked around a little I see some rooms are nice inside and it appears all the rooms on level 4 are being updated. BUT my room on the 18th floor was horrible, PowerPoints not working, horrible high pitched noise from the shower mixer valve, poor lighting, faulty switches, in general…. old, old, old. Location is good, plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Seems to be very popular with tourists groups, observed most of the guests coming and going were retirees, much older demographic. Wont be staying here again, mainly due to the poor room condition.
