We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Santhiya Resort, and a huge part of that was down to the incredible staff. Their work ethic is truly outstanding. From early morning until late evening, the team works tirelessly, always with professionalism, energy, and genuine pride in what they do. Every member of staff we encountered was exceptionally respectful and courteous. They greet you warmly, take the time to listen, and make you feel valued as a guest. What stood out most was their eagerness to help — nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Whether it was arranging transport, recommending activities, or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect, they went above and beyond every single time. Their attention to detail is remarkable. Rooms are maintained beautifully, service is prompt, and the atmosphere they create is calm, welcoming, and luxurious. It’s clear that teamwork and guest satisfaction are top priorities here. The staff don’t just do their jobs — they genuinely care. That level of dedication and positivity makes all the difference and turns a great stay into a memorable one. We can’t thank them enough and would happily return again. Special thanks to neeraj breakfast staff and mod. And joon and da from maintenance team who tightened mirror on my motorbike.

This is our third stay at this resort so we obviously like it. We think it represents decent value for money. They need to sort out the main pool as it was unclean on this occasion! This is not helped by people just going straight in covered in sunscreen but then again there are no showers around the pool. The service is good & staff are always polite & very respectful. The beach isn’t the best but it’s ok. Food is generally good & not too pricey so we eat locally as well as at the resort. Breakfast is good. They’ve started charging for the once complimentary bus shuttle which is disappointing given the cost of accommodation. That said, makes no difference to us as we always hire a scooter. It’s about a 15 minute walk to The main road which has plenty of restaurants & shops. We did notice a bit of a musty smell in one of the rooms on this trip & at times the drains smelt a bit but given the temperatures it’s not surprising. I also suspect that many guests ignore the request to not put loo roll in the toilets. If you’re a mosquito target, they clearly try to control them here. The massages are very good at the spa. I have & will continue to recommend this resort if you’re visiting Koh Chang.

Amazing service by all the staff at this resort. We had a great time and were treated so well. The location is great and there’s a beach that mostly feels like a natural pool as the tide was high, but the water was perfect. We had a villa and a room in the main hotel and they are both great. Well taken care of. Shout out to Khun Zin who went above and beyond in taking care of us. Khun Lucus, Aung, Chef Charn and massage therapist Khun Da and Honey! The check in staff! Great service!!

We have stayed at two of Santhiya’s sister hotels and absolutely love the unique style. This resort is also beautiful, the breakfast is excellent, and the Christmas decorations were very lovely. Communication via WhatsApp is great and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, we were disappointed by the price-performance ratio: • Overpriced: At €650/night for a Hideaway Villa, the value simply isn't there. We’ve seen better equipment and service worldwide for much less. • Language barrier: since we are playing in such high-cost league, English skills are very limited. Even ordering a drink is a struggle and often only works by pointing at pictures. • Evening entertainment: The singers at the beach restaurant were terrible. The restaurant was empty and even we fled immediately after dinner. Bottom line: A beautiful product in theory, but now far too expensive for what is actually offered. The service and entertainment do not match the high price tag.

Great resort. The only negative is the food (could be better for the standard of the hotel). But it's seriously beautiful. Do not wear precious swim shorts in the swimming pool. There's too much chlorine. It completely ruined my linen swim shorts which I was quite upset about
