Very good stay. Rooms were clean. Despite so much greenery, we were surprised there were almost no mosquitoes. Gym equipment looks a bit rusty but functional. Breakfast spread could be better for vegetarians- not much choice.

Disappointment and not recommended. I will not return. Very uneven service. Staff in Restaurant promoted massage 90 minutes for 550 thb. When we arrived to the Spa there were no staff present. After 20 minutes they arrived and claimed 3500 thb for 2 hours. After our rejection they suddenly “remembered” the promo-price. I wanted service in the reception but had to wait 25 minutes with only one guest before me, despite several people working there. So I had to interrupt and push them to handle 2 guests simultaneously. I wanted to extend the rent of my scooter for one day but was rejected since the woman in the concierge said she didn’t want to work this Saturday??! It’s like the staff is very friendly and polite but totally lack customer service training and basic skills. Restaurant doesn’t have all dishes in the menu. Overall disappointing. Avoid. There are many better alternatives in Koh Chang.

Great stay at the Centara Resort on Koh Chang island. Sunsets here are amazing. The Centara is located about 250 meters off of the main road.....a good thing. This keeps most noise generated by the main road , at a minimum. Check-in was seamless and easy. The front desk was welcoming and friendly.. Centara is set in a very tropical setting. Palms, orchids , and plumeria are all landscaped into a beautiful park like setting with small fish -populated canals running throughout the grounds. The rooms, { I rented 3 different cabana types) were all comfortable but in need of some updating and refreshing . The AC, TV, and WiFi all worked well. Showers were great, too. ●●● BE aware...mosquitos can be an issue at all of the resorts on Koh Chang. Centara is no exception. ●●● Breakfast was decent, and all breskfast staff was super friendly and helpful. . There were both Asian and Western breakfast foods available. The pool was great. There are 2 pools on site, I only used the pool close to the beach. There were plenty of sunbeds available. The beach is just steps from the pool . Easy beach access at several points from the pool area. ●● Be aware that sandflies can be a real nuisance close to the beach on Koh Chang ●● The atmosphere at Centara is a relaxed and chilled out vibe. Sunset gawking at its best here! ♿️ Handicap doable Final take......recommended

Superior and Deluxe rooms are VERY far away (300m) from the beach in the back of the hotel. The place is not family-friendly displaying LGBTQI flags aggressively on the main entrance. Will have been my last stay here – better value-for-money and no political indoctrination in many places nearby

Reception takes care very well. Have refilled welcomed drink provided. If better room available, hotel may upgraded your booking. The Beach Front is clean & safe for outdoor activities. Breakfast, have variety of food but not that much. Noodles Soup station may not ready for those who come early.
