Radisson Grenada Beach Resort

I had a horrible experience at the Radisson Grenada Beach Resort. I arrived around 2:15 PM to check-in, despite it being before the check-in time they allowed us to begin checking in. At strong 2:45 PM we were told one of our two rooms is ready and the other is currently being cleaned so we waited in the lobby. At 3:30 PM we were given the key to one room to allow us to sit and eat, they told us they'd bring the keys for the second room when it was ready. Hours passed, at nearly 5:00 PM we went down to the front desk to get an update on our room. Which is when we were told that the other room wasn't being cleaned, infact we were told that the last guests left their belongings in the room which is why we were being held up. We were also told that we weren't allowed to have 4 adults in one room even despite our circumstance and they would not be able to tell us when the next room would be ready. So we got our money back and left. This was supposed to be for my birthday weekend, it was completely ruined by this experience. I am extremely disappointed, not only by the lack of transparency and professionalism but also by the fact that they didn't even try to accommodate us due to a mistake on their end. I will never book with the Radisson ever again. They have an amazing location but their management is so unprofessional it ruins the whole experience. I hope they learn and grow from this. Please use caution when booking this resort.

The pool areas are gorgeous and access to the beach is fantastic. I do wish chairs and umbrellas were set up, as the only option for shade is to crowd under some of the few trees on the beach. But sieving around the pool was plentiful and comfortable. Menu is limited and quite expensive. My first night I ate at one of the bars, I took about 30 minutes to get my meal which was the completely wrong meal. This happened three times, 30 minutes between each new 'wrong' dish (this wasn't like oh. I wanted fries on the side or, take off the mayonnaise, I was brought completely wrong order). The rooms are rather crusty for the price But still comfortable and I liked the seating outside. But proximity to food and drink stalls at the spice market as well as a grocery store was fantastic. It was also easy to get taxis wherever we wanted to go with the front desk. Help.

Location: amazing location, you walk straight out the the most gorgeous beach, with plenty of food choices at the resort and at restaurants nearby. The only thing is that I am a coffee person but I had to walk to another resort nearby to get good lattes. But still was so happy I stayed here. Service: amazing. Every single person I came across who works at the resort always greeted us, and seemed very willing to help. It felt very hospitable. From the front desk, to the room service crew, to the people at the restaurants and bar. Very respectful, hospitable, professional, and ready to go above and beyond. Rooms: The only issue I had is that we booked a king size room but we ended up with a room with 2 single beds. I didn't feel like packing again and moving so we settled. The beds were very comfy, and housekeeping does a great job at cleaning. I did see a lot of ants in the bathroom but for some reason it never bothered me. Also some mosquitos do sneak into the room, but that is to be expected at any resort in any island. Great entertainment scheduled every single day from live music to karaoke to games! Great for adults, kids, and couples.

Beautiful resort but rooms need some updates. Most of the staff is polite and the hotel is right on the beach. Breakfast is really good with a lot of local options. Although they need to add netting on the balcony to prevent mosquitoes and other insects from coming in. I could barely enjoy the balcony because of the mosquitoes.

When we arrived we were given no information about the hotel, times for breakfast, how to get towels etc. We were directed to our room, not shown. Which was two single beds, we had booked a UK double room, apparently in this resort you need to request a King Room to get a double bed. We were moved to another room with a King bed. First night we had a massive cockroach in our bathroom. The rooms are really tired, old and in need of refurbishment. Plus point: it is in an amazing location and the staff were friendly and nice.
