The place is great for location! Loved it! The people who worked there were amazing The lobby smelled amazing The only problem i had was it needs a little bit of love and care when it comes to the furniture in the lobby the chairs were stained and dirty.. In the rooms the headboard was peeling the bathroom needed painting also it had mold. Once out the bathroom by the sink on the floor was a huge glob of mold.

I can't understand the many negative comments. The location is fantastic, in a safe area, the staff is very friendly (both on Christmas and New Year's!), the beds are comfortable, and the room service is excellent! The hotel entrance alone is beautiful, making it a pleasure to enter, and the restaurant is also very charming. We were very satisfied and would definitely return. Those sensitive to noise might find the air conditioning/heating a bit noisy, but it didn't bother me personally. The bathroom door couldn't be completely closed from the inside, but that was manageable as well. The refund of the deposit was seamless. I can recommend this hotel, and I've been in many.

I was in the city to do some shopping in SoHo. The aesthetics of the Nomo hotel appeared very trendy. The bellmen were very welcoming upon arrival. That’s where the positive experience ends. Upon check-in, I was being charged a higher price than the price charged to hold the room on my credit card. When I tried to question the discrepancies in the prices I was told the reservation was declined. I completely understand there are hotel fees, taxes, security deposit, but the total they were trying to charge was above that and the front desk clerk just talked in circles the more I questioned things. Come to find out my credit card (Amex) declined it due to fraudulent activity. It was so sketchy. I travel frequently and I have never had a check in experience like that. It left me with a very uneasy feeling. I have no idea what the rooms are like as I decided NOT to check into Nomo and I found a new hotel where check-in was seamless as it should be. It was a hassle to find a new hotel last minute but well worth it. Just beware!

Just wrapped up a three night stay at Nomo Soho and overall, I found it to be a great hotel. This hotel offers a fantastic location, a friendly staff, and a delicious restaurant downstairs (the fish tacos for lunch were great and their avocado toast for breakfast/brunch is good too). Despite being in a corner Premium King room with an incredible view, I found that the state of the room itself could have been much better. The wear and tear on the walls in the closet, the base around the walls in the bathroom, and the overall wear and tear on the headboard and bed frame was shocking. The hotel itself is amazing but based on my experience and from what I've seen in other reviews, the hotel is in serious need of repairs. No refrigerator in the room was a little inconvenient for water and drinks but it wasn't the end of the world. Another thing I was surprised by was during my second day there, I ordered room service and was informed that "since it was coming from the kitchen, there would be a $6 delivery fee." Only reason this was strange was because the day before when I ordered food, there was no $6 delivery fee. Overall I had a wonderful experience and was pleased with how friendly the staff was whenever I called for room service or had a question. The check-in process was quick and easy. The daily room cleaning was great and very detailed. For me, the biggest draw to come back is the location and the service, the cosmetic issues should be addressed but overall, I enjoyed my stay.

There are way better hotels than the Nomo at either the same price or less. It’s very clearly not well taken care of. The hotel is pretty dirty as well as the rooms. Everything just seems really overused and hasn’t been updated or cleaned in a while. The rooms are bare bones as well. I should have listened to the other reviews and can attest that they are definitely accurate. I also saw folks dealing with checkout payment issues and they got the runaround.
