I revisited the Intercontinental for the second time, this time with a few friends, and once again had a great experience—not only exploring the city and nearby restaurants, but also meeting people and having unforgettable moments in many different places. What truly made our trip even more special, however, was the exceptional service provided by Eduardo. A fellow Brazilian who works at the hotel, it was incredibly comforting to be welcomed in our native language, and his warm, attentive approach really stood out. Even though the Intercontinental is a fantastic place on its own, it was Eduardo’s presence that truly elevated our experience. Thanks to him, our friends’ trip to New York became even more memorable. We’ll definitely be back—and hopefully, Eduardo will be there to welcome us again!

We recently stayed at the InterContinental New York Times Square for 7 nights in a high floor corner suite room and we had the best time and experience from start to finish! The location is unbeatable, just a few steps from Broadway, Times Square, Rockefeller center... and next door to major subway lines direct to all city points. Our room had spectacular city views, and was big, comfortable modern and with good value for its location and amenities. Service was consistently friendly and professional. Every staff member we interacted with (and a special thanks to Cheryl) was eager to help and very attentive to detail. The housekeeping and concierge service was also very good, fast and accomplished all our demands in bookings, recommendations and guidance. We had almost every morning in-room breakfast service and was very fast, reactive and food is delicious! Overall, the hotel strikes a great balance between luxury and practicality and was perfect for our stay to enjoy the city. We are gonna absolutely stay here again.

Always polite, thoughtful, and welcoming, he made every meal more enjoyable with his genuine care and warm presence. Professionals like Eddie truly stand out for the way they treat people — with respect, dedication, and heartfelt friendliness. He was without a doubt one of the highlights of my trip. My sincere thanks for all the kindness!

I love stopping by the hotel bar at the InterContinental after work — it’s truly one of my favorite spots in the city to unwind solo. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, especially with the fireplace in the bar area, which adds such a cozy touch. The cocktails are consistently excellent and crafted with care. I’ve always had great service here, and recently, Eddie has stood out as a fantastic waiter — friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making guests feel comfortable. That kind of service really elevates the experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a classy, relaxing place to enjoy a drink in Midtown.

Incredible location, amazing staff. This spot is central to everything you want to see in NYC, and the staff treat you like family... but the royal family in town for some fun. The secrets they spill about the best times to go to key attractions and the cool speakeasies that aren't part of any other tourist info sites or books are a special treat. If you grab a bite and drinks in their hotel lounge - which we highly recommend - you must request Eddie Spaghetti as your server. And, order the Saphire Fizz cocktail...just be ready to sing the Barbie song if you do! So fun. Or, if you get the smoking sipper, give him space as he uncorks the smokey bourbon concoction...his presentation of it all is top notch. We're definitely coming back for more celebrations with Eddie.
