Travelling around the world with family and chose this hotel to celebrate my 40th. Booked on Expedia as a "mystery hotel" that was heavily reduced. Prior to arrival corresponded with hotel and requested room with view that they were happy to provide. On arrival found out we did not get any price reduction but had actually just paid for the low floor rooms and if we wanted anything better we had to pay for it. We were disappointed as this was not what had been indicated.room was ok as long as you didn't open the curtain. The biggest disappointment was the lack of service. At check in the staff were more interested in talking to each other and became annoyed if you asked a question. The door man grabbed our luggage from the cab ignored the trolley walked 5 steps through the main door and dumped them at our feet and waited for his tip..two adults and 2 kids had to take our luggage upstairs...there were lots of doormen just standing around blocking the doorway, but they never bothered moving or acknowledging any patrons. The concierge was very put out when I asked if she could book some tickets and told me to just do it my self and when I asked for a map she questioned whether I really needed one. Getting a cab to the airport the doorman insisted we use a private car instead of a cab at double the cost, we refused repeatedly. He discreetly sent away cabs that would not tip him. Finally we approached a cab and got one, the cabbie explained the doorman gets a hefty tip if we use the private car. Unfortunately the staff here are probably too arrogant to care about a bad review. If you want a great and unforgettable experience go to renaissance times square, paid a similar rate last year as this hotel and got a great room and the staff ensured we had the most incredible NY experience.

An absolute treasure of a hotel! Everything in this hotel is top notch! The part of the stay that really took our trip from excellent to extravagant was The Stinger Bar! We stopped there for a quick bite and some drinks before heading out to explore the city. While the food and drinks were exceptional, the service from Eduardo really took the experience from a 10 to a 100! He was one of the most personable people I ever talked to during my visit, and the passion he exuded in his service made everything warm and memorable. You won't find a better hotel anywhere in NYC quite like this. From the service at the hotel to Eduardo's dedication to providing an excellent experience, I highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in New York.

Location is key. Quick walk to most things in times square. 1 mile to central park. Staff was super friendly. My man with the mustache at the front desk was able to combine 2 reservations so we didn't have to check in and out (we had 2 separate reservations because of separate points).. room was good. Nothing fancy but all you need. Would stay again

The stay started so promising. Staff was friendly and provided us with an early check in, we were only expecting to leave our bags. Cannot expect a hotel in this area to be quiet but noise level was very reasonable considering your in the middle of everything for time square etc. It feels like most hotels provide you with a free bottle of water these days but no such luck here - there were either $12-14 at mini bar, forget which. There were also empty coffee pods left on the floor room, along with more trash. All of that being said- not the reason for my poor rating - we were awaken both mornings of our stay by a knock at the door between 8-9 am asking if we needed a refill on our mini bar- the second morning in particular was very irritating as we had been out late the night prior at a concert. The greed on display after what we paid per might is absolutely astounding here. Hotel management you should do better. Anyone with any sense will go to a nearby bodega for cheaper water or snack and I am sure those that do not know better or want the convenience will contact you if they need something. Please do better in future!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth, comfortable, and welcoming. The rooms were clean, the location was convenient, and the overall vibe was relaxing yet upscale. One highlight of my stay was definitely spending time at the Stinger bar. Eduardo, who works there, truly elevated the experience. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and made amazing drink recommendations. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. You can tell he loves what he does, and it shows in the service he provides. I highly recommend this hotel—and don’t miss a visit to the Stinger bar to see Eduardo. He’s a gem!
