The rooms are clean & comfortable. The staff were all very friendly & greeted us when we passed. The greatest jewel is JC, the concierge. She is very connected & will help you have an outstanding time while you’re in New York City. She knows all of the people to get you the best seats for theater, activities, and dining. You don’t have to be a guest at the intercontinental to have her help you. Just step inside into the lobby and her desk is right there. You won’t be disappointed when you get assistance from JC.

My girlfriend and I, were staying at the hotel, and before going to a brunch, we decided to have a drink at the Stinger Bar. For our surprise, Eddie, was our waiter. He was very attentive, polite, extremely funny, and above all, loved what he did. He surprised us after I told him that was ny girlfriend's birthday and her first time in New York. Five minutes later, he brought a dessert, a chocolate sponge with a birthday card, and everyone around us sang happy birthday to her. She was very happy. He made our first day in New York magical. Secretly, I told him that I was going to propose her for brunch and showed him the ring. We return to the Stinger, on Monday night, and she showed him the rings, and one more time, he was surprising us with a glass of Prosseco, in a big day if our lives, Eddie, thank you very much for your genuine kindness.

Come here every time we are in NYC. Staff are great and the views are incredible. Food is excellent, service is sublime, and the experience is amazing. The team is good at the the little things and the first thing they did as soon as I reached the check in counter was offer my daughter a little teddy bear! She has always enjoyed coming here ever since and so do I. Since then coming here has been a no-brainer, the location cannot be beat, the amenities and experience and top -notch, and the Stinger has some excellent options for food/drinks. See you again soon!

My family and I stayed at the InterContinental Hotel from November 26 to 28, and we chose this property for one clear reason: it was advertised as pet-friendly. Unfortunately, our experience proved that the hotel’s definition of “pet-friendly” is extremely misleading. On our first evening, after checking in, we left our dogs safely in the room for about three hours while we went out for dinner. When we returned, neither of our two rooms would open with the key cards. We went to the front desk expecting a simple fix, but instead, the staff called the manager—who then confronted us about leaving our dogs in the room. The manager informed us that if we had pets, we were required to take them with us every time we left the room. This policy was never communicated during booking, check-in, or on the hotel’s website. To call a hotel “pet-friendly” and then demand that guests carry their dogs everywhere—including locations where pets obviously aren’t allowed—is unrealistic and frankly unreasonable. Because of this, our entire trip was disrupted. We couldn’t even have breakfast together as a family. We had to arrange ourselves in shifts so someone was always stuck in the room with the dogs. We ended up canceling our planned activities and spending most of our trip confined to the hotel. This is absolutely not the experience we paid for. If the hotel has such restrictive rules, they should clearly state them upfront instead of misleading guests with the label “pet-friendly.” What we experienced was not pet-friendly—it was pet-restrictive, and it significantly ruined our trip. I strongly urge the hotel to revise its communication and policies so other guests do not go through the same frustration and disappointment.

My family and I had a great stay at this hotel in October. Our rooms were clean and tidy, with great views. The location is perfect, the price was good, and the breakfast was good too. The staff were friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed in several IHG hotels in Manhattan (including The Barclay several times) and this has easily been the best. We highly recommend this hotel.
