Everything about this hotel made it one of the best I've ever been to. The service was excellent, all the way from the valets and bell boys to the front desk staff. The rooms were in wonderful condition and if you get a room that's high up enough, they have a great view. There is plenty to do around the hotel with so much to do within only a few minute walk.

This hotel is located in one of the busiest and bustling areas of Manhattan; excellent access to the Theater District, other entertainment and a bevy of restaurants to chose from. Though there's a lot external circumstance they can't control, one ALWAYS feels safe in the hotel and there are PLENTY of staff outside the hotel at all times.
Rooms are cleaned daily and well stocked bar. The wifi works better than expected and for being NYC, the space is appropriate to sleep, work and hangout. The beds are comfortable (pillows not so much) for a good sleep; and, the gym is spacious and a great place for a workout.
The Valet staff is dynamic and attentive. I specifically am thankful to Dave, the Bellman who was attentive and helpful. The entire staff is trained to be of assistance and will get a manager if there's an issue.
David C, the Manager is DYNAMIC. he ironed out a few wrinkles from dining and made sure our family was taken care of and provided the BEST and EXECPTIONAL Customer service. it was truly AMAZING because of him.
This hotel is worth staying at for business and/or pleasure. I HIGHLY recommend it and will visit again when in NYC.

I recently stayed at the intercontinental in Times Square for 4 nights. It was the best stay experience I’ve had in New York. The entire staff was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. From the moment we arrived and were checking in late at night, every staff member was so welcoming. We immediately appreciated the help to our room and had such a warm greeting. The location of the hotel is in such a convenient spot and very easy access to the transits. Our room was very spacious for a New York room. The views were also beautiful - straight into Times Square. I was very impressed with how clean everything was. The bathroom was big and it was very comfortable to get ready in. We also visited the bar/restaurant in the lobby and it was really great. The staff down there were also so kind and welcoming. They have great drink and food options. Very cozy place to hang out and relax in. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting New York. Thank you for such a comfortable and welcoming stay!

Clean facility. Polite front desk staff. Good breakfast, but they don't explain well enough about their service fees with extras and where to spend it. I saw an elderly couple charged 100 bucks for a breakfast they thought was covered with the service fee cards. Hotel is next to train transit station.

Great location but the service is absolute garbage. I had a choice while booking between “classic room low floor” which is floors 4-12 or so and regular classic room which are the higher floors and more expensive. I picked regular because I wanted a nicer view and paid more, when I went they told me the high floors are sold out and they put me in floor 4 which is the absolute lowest floor. how was it sold out if I reserved and paid for it ahead of time? I could’ve saved my money and just got the classic low floor since I was gonna be stuck on it anyways.
They force you to pay $160 for resort fee which apparently gives u $25 a day for the mini bar and $20 for the entire stay laundry. The mini bar had 2 or 3 drinks and was never restocked. The regular can of coke or sprite was $9, the small liquor shot bottles were $18 and the 330ml water bottles were $11, ridiculous prices and the $25 a day is nothing compared to that and on top of it, it expires at midnight. The laundry for ONE shirt is $20, so there’s the entire credit for that, it’s all just a massive scam obviously.
The rooms are decently sized and clean and the location was good next to subway and bus stations but the service is definitely not worth the price paid at all.
I don’t want the generic “sorry you didn’t like it we strive to make it a good stay, we hope you enjoy it next time” response from the manager. Just fix it.
