Good news first: Sizable bathroom, big shower, and good water pressure. A pullout hallway mirror was a pretty neat concept. Electric blackout curtain. Bad news: The HVAC system. In our room, didn't matter what you adjusted thermostat to, the only option was too hot. A fan in the room couldn't offset that. The bed is strangely low. A business associate thought his was a Murphy bed, upon first seeing it. Not very comfortable, though the bedding was. Our floor was uneven, so if you pulled out the rolling desk chair it rolled away. Didn't hate location. Walked twice to Brooklyn Bridge and over. Beautiful water views very nearby. Room view was of a skyscraper canyon. Staff very nice. On-site bar super-pricey.

The staff is very friendly and helpful right from the moment you walk in. The location is great if you are spending time downtown the area isn't too busy but still has a lot going on. The rooms are very comfortable not like some of the NYC shoeboxes. Overall I've enjoyed my multiple stays here and will continue to choose Hyatt Wall Street!

This is another example of a hotel ruined by COVID. Prior to COVID this property was operated under the Andaz name (also a Hyatt brand) as a luxury hotel. The rooms are very nice with the echo of luxury touches and amenities. Ultimately, post-COVID, Hyat rebranded this location as a Hyatt Centric and removed all the luxury amenities like the mini-bar, like room service, like bathroom products, cups and glasses made of actual glass rather than the paper cups they have now. So, as a guest you end up with this weird vibe of mid-level Hyatt service and amenities with luxury style rooms. The location is great if you need to be in lower Manhattan but less convenient if you think you will find yourself more in midtown for either business or pleasure. Perhaps I’m being a bit critical because ultimately my experience was very good. It was not my first time staying at this Hyatt centric and I’m sure it won’t be my last.

I had a great experience at the Hyatt Centric Wall Street — and even more exceptional service. I felt so very taken care of and everyone was so kind. Cassie at the front desk was a gem (she was so lovely) and Mamou one of the cleaning staff took such pride in the property. She remembered my name and thanked me for staying there. I’m changing a future hotel stay next month to this property I enjoyed it so much.

Stayed at this hotel in October, had a great experience. Beautiful room, huge, the shower and bath tub were amazing, and notable.The bar, the food, the people were great. Then, this week, now November, I accidentally had a package sent there and Lily at the front desk went above and beyond, went and found my package at the business next door and mailed it back for me. What an angel. I'm astounded by the people of New York, I've only had good experiences. What a wonderful place.Thank you so much, Lily. ten stars. I've left plenty of important things (and never saw them again) at many a hotel, and I've literally never had such a prompt, kind, and productive interaction. Truly. Thanks again!
