Was a little nervous about this place because of the reviews. But it was completely and 100% great. Room was clean, big, and comfortable. AC works as of June 13. We didn’t eat or drink at the bar but the room was awesome. Maybe not 5 full stars but definitely at least 4.5. Everything was great, and we were able to check in at 2 AM due to a delayed train with no issues.

We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Wall Street and really liked the location. Easy walking distance to Pier 17, the Staten Island Ferry, Battery Park, and everything else in FiDi. Super convenient base for exploring the area. The hotel was clean and quiet, and our suite worked really well for us, especially with a baby. They provided a crib, and the extra space made a big difference. Our corner room had great natural light and views, and the automatic blinds were a nice feature. Check-in was quick and easy. We didn’t see much going on at the bar, but it was there if you wanted it. The cleaning staff was also very accommodating. Helped us out a few times and were always friendly. Rooms were a bit of a mix, modern in some ways, a little dated in others but overall comfortable and functional. For the price, it was a great value. Would definitely consider staying here again.

I stayed at the Hyatt in Wall Street, NYC, and overall, it was a very good experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Wall Street, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays. The views are stunning, which felt like a real privilege. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, providing a comfortable stay. The gym is good, well-equipped for a solid workout. Breakfast was just okay. Nothing special, and too expensive for what it is, in my opinion. One downside was that the bar wasn’t open during my stay, and I’m not sure why. It’s a shame because it would have been a great addition to the experience.

One of the worst hotels in the financial district…and that is saying something. Filthy, service is the worst, prices are too high. Lobby is dreary, bar is very sad, elevator is scuffed and stained. Rooms are adequate. TV remote was broken so got to spend an evening watching Jeopardy until the engineer finally made it around (after guest services said they had only one engineer and he was too busy to help). Dropped laundry off for same day service due back by 7pm. Got to the room around 10pm…no laundry. Had to stay up for another half hour someone to bring it by. Just not a good hotel.

The Hyatt Centric is a great place to chill on the weekend when it is not so busy. The Financial District keeps evolving and there are more local options for cool places to eat and drink. I always enjoy the Centric Vibe: Urban, cool industrial chic. If you want to get a unique view of NYC this Hyatt is a great option to consider 👍🌃
