This was a very last minute trip. Looking for rest and relaxation. This is what we got here. The rooms were exceptionally cleaned as well as all public areas. The views from the balcony were some of the best looking over the cliffs one side and the harbour the other.
Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food. The omelette/egg station was a lovely unexpected surprise. However even the standard eggs on the buffet were really good quality with bright orange yolks.
Pools were lovely an clean and the pool bar area nice and relaxing. We hired a car and found parking very easy (directly outside the hotel) this was street parking.
Staff lovely and friendly cant fault them.
The area was quite so if your looking for lots of bars/clubs this really isn't the place for you. But if you want relaxed atmosphere really good quality restaurants a short walk away. Pretty harbour to sit at or a lovely beach to relax and swim. you would be had pushed to find better.
Would defiantly return to this hotel and looking forward to it.
Thank you for a great trip.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks here. Both the breakfast and dinner are lovely with lots of choice. The location is perfect, very quiet, not too touristy or commercial with plenty of amenities just a short walk away. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. We would love to come back.

We’ve been here for 9 days, today is the last day and I have to say this hotel is just perfect. Rooms are always clean and food is great. The staff always want to help us as best as they can and they were always kind to us. I wish this hotel was somewhere closer to the capital - Palma, because Portocolom isn’t the most attractive place on the island. Despite this, I enjoyed my stay here and honestly recommend this hotel, greetings from Poland

My Wife & I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Hotel Vistamar ..... We honestly didn't know what to expect, however upon arrival we were more than happy with our selection.
The hotel is really clean and well maintained, rooms are light and airy with plenty of space to hang clothes / store cases without it encroaching on the space.
Views from the 6th floor (Partial Seaview) were great and there are a couple of lifts to get you to your floor which never seem to be busy (there is an option of taking the stairs too ...... possibly best reserved for the downward leg of the trip)
Hotel staff were great at reception and also at breakfast, our room was cleaned daily.
Breakfast served in the restaurant by the pool - great selection of items with omelets made to order.
The local area is relaxed with several restaurants and places to grab a drink / ice cream within about a 5 minute walk along the seafront.
The only 2 slight negatives (and this is me being pedantic) -
1, Coffee Machines at breakfast ...... They are really slow and there is always a little queue (despite there being 3 machines)
2, Car Parking - if you have hired a car, car parking is a bit of premium in the streets directly outside the hotel especially if you have been out for the day and return after 5pm ..... that said, there are spaces to be found a 5 minute walk away, so on balance, probably an ideal opportunity to walk off the Ensaimada's
We used the Cala Marcal Beach - lovely and clean, very shallow for quite a way out so great for small kids (lots of fish to feed as well if you are into that sort of thing). Access to the beach is good and there is a raised walkway for those with access requirements. Sunbed / Parasol hire is quite reasonable at approx. £16 for the day (includes a safe)
Already looking to return next year, however availability hasn't been updated yet ......... genuinely, already counting down the days until we return.

Rooms spacious and clean. Views nice from balconies depending on where you are. Food is ok. Pool was nice but the opening hours were pretty restrictive. At least you always got a spot whenever you did go. Some of the staff were pretty rude, some were friendly and helpful, depending on who you got. Don't go if you want a quiet stay. On my last night, I tried to get an early night due to an early flight, and they started blaring music at 10pm in the courtyard, right outside my window. Felt like I was sleeping next to a speaker.
