We had a lovely stay late September. The hotel is clean, rooms well equipped, and the food was very good. I liked the themed nights for food, but there was always a good choice of other foods too. We went all inclusive and the drinks were all good with generous measures of spirits. However my personal opinion on the few cocktails were they were pretty awful. All pre made and so sugary and didn't taste at all like they should. Cocktails aren't served until after 7pm. The entertainment at the hotel was some of the best I've seen put on by a hotel, with different visiting acts every evening, all of which were very good. There was also bingo with good cash prizes. We didn't travel with children but there is a kids club for children over 5 years. Nothing for the little ones that I saw. There are many pools, all were spotlessly clean. There were pools of various depths, suitable for children and non swimmers, another deep pool 1.6m and also an adult only pool. There was plenty of sun beds available every day we were there. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the town which has a long strip of shops and restaurants all aimed at tourists. The closest beach is there, and the hotel puts on a shuttle bus, from the front of the hotel, to the beach for those who don't want to walk. The bus service in town is ridiculous. Every bus stop had at least 50 people waiting and buses were going past full and not stopping, and this was late September. A taxi into C'an Picafort was about 14 euros and certainly preferable to trying to get on a bus! Trips out can be arranged by the staff at reception and car hire from the separate desk in the hotel foyer. Pool towels can be collected from reception, they charge you 10 euros deposit. There is a safe in the room which is chargeable at 3 euros a day plus a refundable deposit. The lifts in the hotel were having some problems when we were there and some were out of order but there was always a couple working. Our room was round the back of the hotel, we had a side view of the lake to the left but also over what I'm guessing is the back of the kitchens as we heard bottles being emptied into the dumpster at 8am. Other family had emailed the hotel in advance and asked for a pool view which was given. Those rooms also overlook the stage though and entertainment doesn't finish until 11pm and people stay drinking until 1pm so expect some noise on that side which may be a problem if you've children in the room. On our side of the hotel there was no noise . We were in the 320s. We saw no trouble at all with protests against tourists. Local people were friendly and shops and restaurants along the strip in Muro welcoming.

It was our 1st time in this area & to this Resort as a mature couple. On arrival reception was very welcoming, we were asked to go a get a drink as our room was not ready. At 2pm we went back & our room was ready. We requested a top floor & was given 5th floor in the main building. Our room was very bright, clean & airy. Lots of storage space, free safe & fridge. Double bed/pillows were comfortable. Large walk in shower, had great water pressure & hot water. Clean towels every day. Our views from balcony were stunning looking over the nature reserve & mountains. We were half board, food was good especially breakfast & evening meal had a good choice & we never went hungry. Kitchen staff & serving staff all worked very hard. Same as the cleaning staff. We always found polite. We would like to say a big thank you for our cleaning ladies on floor 5 main building as ours did a brilliant job & always said hello to us. We went to the adults pool most afternoons & it was always clean & tidy. I personally wasn't to keen on the cocktails as they were to sweet for my liking. The other swimming pools & communal areas were always clean to. The bus to the beach was very service & the little ting ting train was a nice ride around the local area. The beach & sea & local area of Playa de Muro was nice with a great range of shops & restaurants. Can Picafort is lovely & we went there around 3 times, it also has a market on a Friday. We also walked to Alcudia harbour, went to Palmer by using No Frills Excursion & took the bus to Alcudia town. Yes the mosquitos were a pest but luckily the avon lemon & basil body mist & agua de colonia brought from Mercondona baby aisle around €3 helped & we got no bites. Entertainment for adults & children on all day & night & bingo & live acts. Yes we recommend & would definitely return one day soon as we had a lovely holiday.

Hotel Really nice hotel to stay at. Only a 20 minute walk to the beach. Located right next to a massive lake, so beware of mosquitoes during the day and especially at night! It has its own Supermarket so you can buy essentials on site. Pools Both adult only pool and children pool spot on with plenty of sun beds to enjoy. Room The rooms are spacious and very pleasant. The beds are great, pillows not so great. Complete with lounge area, small kitchen with two sets of patio doors bring you out onto the balcony (from lounge and bedroom). Entertainment Bingo, live music and entertainment. The artists they had when I was there were superb. Bar and restaurant Great selection of food and drink for everyone. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Juice and coffee machines with a great selection. Staff and Service All staff were superb and are a credit to their hotel. Best service I’ve experienced.

If I could give half a star I would. I stayed here for 5 nights as a solo traveller. I've seen bad but haven't seen much worse than this. This is not a 4* hotel by any measure. Check in was quick and staff was pleasant but that's it...the room was basic with the most uncomfortable bed and pillows filled with bricks. I don't suffer from body aches or injuries but after 5 nights I felt like I needed a chiropractor. The hair dryer....if I stood there blowing at my own hair it would dry quicker. In a 4* hotel I expect a kettle in the room as a bare minimum. The safe didn't work surprise surprise! My room was facing the pool whichean I could endure the evening (moe like midnight) entertainment first hand. It lasted until 11.30 EVERY NIGHT! anyone heard of a good night sleep on holiday? I get it, have fun until like 10pm then carry on indoors, have a dedicated area indoors. There are families with kids staying there as well! It was unnecessary loud and I had to try and fall asleep wearing earplugs as well as noise cancelling headphones. Now...the "food" was absolutely diabolical. I'm not a fussy eater but I like a certain quality of food such as no shards of chicken bones in my paella for example. The breakfast was ok, I had eggs drowning in grease and some cold meats and a coffee. The dinner was just revolting so I ate elsewhere some nights. Cleaning...the room was cleaned daily but for some reason they decided to leave a dead mosquito on my bedside and never replaced dirty glasses. Ah, I also had to procure a pool towel myself because why would a 4* hotel give you pool towels? I didn't expect any luxury but I expected basics in a 4* hotel. During my stay I spent as little time in and around the hotel as possible. As much as I enjoyed my holiday in Majorca it wasn't don't to my accommodation. Whoever awarded this place 4* needs to get a sanity check.

Currently staying here. The staff seems very tired and not up very welcoming, engaging or energetic. Maybe its because its the end of the season? Some of the staff in the snack bar seem like they dont want to be there at all and like your order is a burden.The kids show is very lacking of energy and honesty a big disappointment when you have kids. Seems the hosts are too cool to smile, sing along or create the energy to engage the crowd. The food is bare average, nothing to write home about. Based on this I would not stay here again and would not recommend others going here.
