Our recent stay at Hilton La Romana was magical. We've stayed at numerous all-inclusive resorts throughout the Caribbean, and this is one of our new favorites. The resort exceeded our expectations and made us fall completely in love with Dominican Republic!
The staff here truly shines - special thanks to Ricardo, King, Carmen, and Samuel for their exceptional hospitality. But every single worker we encountered during our stay was so nice and welcoming! The crystal-clear beach is breathtaking, the pool was great and there was always something new everyday to eat at the beach, water activities, etc.
Would just love to see more adult-focused evening activities! Unfortunately missed the rum tasting and we're not a fan of casinos. Perhaps a balance between family entertainment and adult-oriented activities, like trivia/game nights specifically on the adult side :)
We're already dreaming about our return visit. This resort & Dominican Republic are now at the top of our favorite destinations list. 10/10 recommend!

Hotel was great, super clean, service is always available. Everything is super intentional and organized, and there’s plenty to eat! Randy was amazing, super friendly and fun to be around. Dauly and Renee are a great combo on the beach, they’re super personal and outgoing with everyone. Carmen for room service was super nice, always happy to help. The only complaint I have is on the activities. Lots of people love to play volleyball throughout the week, but they refused to put the net up outside of the scheduled days. It used to be every day, and brought tons of fun to the beach. Hope they change this!

Wow. I was a little concerned about the food after reading the reviews here but let me tell you that you won't be disappointed. From the coffee shop in the lobby to the food served on the beach daily at lunch and the wide variety of restaurants you will be pleasantly surprised. Staff is outstanding. The beach and pools are world class. Rooms are a bit dated, but more than adequate. Besides, you'll barely be spending any time in your room! Sunsets are amazing!

Guest service was over and above. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming and concerned with our comfort. Housekeeping was top notch and food was delicious! The only reason I gave the room 4 stars is the bathroom was small, especially the room with the toilet. The shower was pretty and large though. Ivette made sure our checkout was easy and our concierge Luiding was super helpful!

We had a great time celebrating a birthday! Enclave was a nice added bonus, and Olga at the pool was a rockstar for us! And if you like to scuba dive, Berlin was fantastic under the water with us. Very happy with our stay!
My only downside is that I wish there were more sushi options, especially without cream cheese.
