Beautiful hotel!
We went in June 2024. The rooms are excellent, super big and very luxurious.
The location of this hotel is extremely beautiful.
The beach is very nice, but be aware that you share the beach with the Family Side.
The only reason I’m here writing this review is the lack of peace and quiet in this hotel.
While the company might think that the majority of the clients are American, it is not true!
We went to this hotel to enjoy some beautiful and peaceful holidays in the Caribbean Sea.
Well, goodbye peace and quiet from 9am to 6pm ! Loud American music at the pool the WHOLE day, the music even reaches the beach.
Then we moved from the pool to the beach to have some quiet and then the entertainment team started everyday loud activities for the whole beach with loud speakers.
While there must be people that enjoy this, there are others that don’t. Please don’t be so loud and choose a side of the beach so that not everyone has to listen!
Same thing by the main pool. If the hotel wants this music please put music by the bar but not so loud. The people that enjoy it will come closer and the people than don’t they will appreciate.
I don’t go to the other side of the world to listen to Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry!!
After we decided that we wanted some tranquility we thought that we should pay for the Enclave Club. (VIP or something like that). We went to check out the pool and they also had music the whole day. Less intense yes but still music !
Music music music music EVERYWHERE!
Such a pity for such a beautiful hotel with excellent workers.
For the hotel: please think of the clients that chose this hotel ONLY ADULTS. only adults we all think means : no kids, no screaming and no chaos.
The music is loud and annoying the whole day. That’s not the reason why we came here.

I loved it here! The water is crystal clear with plenty of places to sit. I liked having enclave due to the lounge always having food available and a strong AC. However, you can probably get away with enjoying the enclave pool, beach and bar without having the upgrade. You MUST experience restaurant chinoli it was amazing. I also loved that i didn’t need reservations for any restaurant. Put this on your list if you want to stay on the Caribbean side!

I had an amazing experience at the Hilton La Romana in the Dominican Republic. The staff was attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The resort itself was beautiful, with immaculate grounds, spotless rooms, and stunning beach views.

* Beautiful beach: The beach at the resort was pristine, with calm, clear waters and plenty of space to relax.
* Great food and drinks: The resort offered a wide variety of restaurants and bars, all with delicious food and drinks.
* Lots of activities: There were plenty of activities to keep me busy during my stay, from swimming and sunbathing to kayaking and paddleboarding.
Overall, I had a fantastic time at the Hilton La Romana and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing all-inclusive resort experience.

Great place to relax - very clean, well maintained property.
Personnel was very attentive and trained well, food tasted consistently good and the choice was great. Fresh smoothies, omelets, gourmet sandwiches in the morning. Fresh juices, crepes.
Bartenders knew their drinks very well, and consistently amazed us.
There is plenty of shade on the beach, easy access to the sea, clear and very safe sea water, and the pools are fantastic too.

We've stayed here twice with a third trip planned. We've traveled all over the world and this is hands down our favorite resort. The people are incredibly welcoming and caring, the grounds are IMMACULATE. The beach, pool and ocean are perfect. We will continue to come here every year.
